My Fiance and I tried to join. We called ahead to see when someone would be there to sign us up. We where told we didn't need an appointment and to just stop in during their staffed hours, and nock on the door. Someone would let us in. This was on 1 pm on Wednesday. Their hours are listed on the website as M-F 11-7 with the exception of Tuesday being 10-6. These same hours are also listed on their door. When we showed up at roughly 6:05 the same Wednesday we had called ahead. We knocked on the door and a member let us in. This was when we found out that there was no employees on sight, they had left for the day. We reached out to customer service about the issue and where told that "whomever we spoke with earlier in the day was wrong to schedule an appointment not during staffed hours". We where then told that they close at 6pm every day which directly contradicts all posted hours. Now they want us to make another trip in to get signed up, which is rather inconvenient since my Fiance had to take time off of work to get there during there "posted hours" Such a pain. Now she will have to miss even more work so we can sign up. After reading other reviews we are probably better off taking our business elsewhere. The new anytime fitness in town is closer to our house anyways.

Great place to workout. Machines are available for any size, shape and build. I've always been able to complete my workout without competition for machines easy access into gym. Always open

I've never seen a more poorly run business (can't even call it that) in my life. The place is dirty, usually out of paper towel, hand sanitizer station hasn't worked in over a year, several pieces of equipment don't work and haven't
Then the worst is they don't follow their own legal contract. They post on their policy on the wall 16 and under require parental supervision. They even state that in the contract. Then when the staff tells your 8 year old, rudely, that she has to leave in front of her mother and me her father, we have a problem. The staff kept stating that their policy is no one under 13. When asked to show that document the staff could not. However I could show the contract and the policy on the wall, both stating different than she was saying. They can't even follow a legal document. There are better fitness gyms in Grimes, and for the same price.

I'm a Snap member in another town but stay in Grimes occasionally. This gym doesn't have as much as some of the Snaps I have been to but has enough to get the job done

This place has the worst customer service ever.

I realize that it is not staffed but at this price point you could at least return a phone message once per day.

It is about customer service stupid not just lining your pockets. I do not mind paying profit for a worthwhile item but I will be now paying another entity my hard earned $$ Just a clue look at the way Zappos takes care of their customers.

Your business model sucks and will not survive the next few years unless you realize this. Google review, Facebook and Yelp will eliminate the crappy businesses and yours I fear is one of them.

Good luck and hope that you listen because if you do not your business model will fail miserably and you will need to find a place to work out. I just hope that they do not treat you like we have been treated.
