Truly Transformational!!
Working with the trainers at Alloy over the past year has completely changed my life. I’ve lost 48 pounds of fat, gained 8 pounds of lean muscle, and feel stronger and more capable than ever. My mobility and balance have improved significantly, and I have more energy throughout the day—not just during workouts, but in everyday life.
One of my concerns when starting was the knee pain I sometimes felt going up and down stairs. I worried that training might make it worse, but with the Alloy trainers expert guidance and focus on proper form and mobility work, the pain has completely disappeared.
All of the trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. Every session can be tailored to your goals and abilities, and they always know how to push you just enough to keep progressing without risking injury.
If you're looking for a personal training type experience that delivers real results and helps you feel your absolute best, I can’t recommend Alloy highly enough!

Alloy provides challenging workouts. I have trained with trainers for 30 years, and except for one trainer, these are the best workouts I have had. They often exercise multiple muscle groups which also strengthens your core and requires balance. Much more realistic when compared to daily life. I am very pleased so far with Alloy Personal Training.

I really appreciate the tailored services that take into account my needs to rehab and get stronger. I like that sessions are set up for specific needs and levels of the participants, which is why I chose Alloy. I do wish there was more flexibility to select a session time that fits better with my personal schedule. I would appreciate the flexibility to see on the app if there is is an open space at other times that would still be a fit for my workout goals. I commute 25 min. each way and that factors into my preferences.

I am loving my new fitness routine with Alloy and have seen great results in strength building and overall time since I started. It's also FUN. My husband and I look forward to our 6am workouts! Chris and all the trainers do an exceptional job personalizing workouts and really getting to know and take care of the Alloy family. Don't walk - run to Alloy and start training with us before the spots are gone!

Benefits of Joining Alloy Fitness – Overland Park:
• Strengthen every muscle in your body (including some you didn't even know you had).
• No workout is the same (so you can't get bored).
• Excellent trainers that can modify an exercise on the fly to ensure you get the benefit of the workout without causing injury. ALL are exceptional, so it doesn't matter what time you take class.
• Small class size (you are an individual – not just a body).
• Clean facility.
• An owner that is engaged – Janice, you rock.
• Great music (which really shouldn't matter but does to me).
• Stretching before and after workout.
• A family community (not the dysfunctional type: all ages, caring, encouraging, funny (laughing is excellent for additional ab work), unconditional support, and accountability).
• Optional challenges throughout the year for those wanting a boost or those competitive in nature.
• Informative seminars on health and wellness topics.
• Fun "outside the gym" social opportunities.
• Cost-effective – it's like having your own personal trainer at a fraction of the cost.
No matter your goal or fitness level, the staff at Alloy Fitness can get you there. I highly recommend!

I’ve been to a lot of gyms all over the country, but this has got to be one of the best ones I have ever been a member of. With small class sizes, personalized options, monthly progress check-ins with coaches that help you with nutrition and your goals, this staff is incredible. I can’t emphasize enough how much of a life changer this gym has been. Do yourself a favor and take a class. You’ll see the difference as soon as you walk in the door.

The trainers are supportive, encouraging and fun. They adjust the workouts to meet everyone’s needs and those adjustments don’t hold back anyone who is advanced. I didn’t think I would like small group training, but it really has helped me be consistent.

The trainers are so knowledgeable, and very mindful of injuries or weaknesses when guiding you through the workouts. I joined Alloy last October and have thoroughly enjoyed my membership. I had been hesitant to join a fitness club or group as it had been a very long time since I worked out on a regular basis and I was very self conscious about my fitness level. The coaches have welcomed me with open arms and have guided me to a better fitness level than I have been in for sometime. I’ve enjoyed meeting others as well and have created some great friendships in the midst of getting in better shape. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome!!! I highly recommend this business.

I joined to try and was skeptical but I thought why not. I'd had hip surgery a year before and my body never felt right after. I signed up for 3 x a week. Within a week I noticed better everything: balance, strength, less pain, sometimes now after 6 months I have pain free days. Alloy has become an essential part of my life. I am 65. The people @ Alloy are great too. Chris, Destiny, Javier, Janice, and Chuck. Very informed and committed

I began going to Alloy last October. I knew I needed accountability, but no longer wanted the expense of a big gym (didn’t use shower/locker room, unable to book classes in advance, pay extra for some classes, crowded weight area). Twice weekly workouts at Alloy has been the best commitment I’ve ever done for myself/my health. The staff: Chris, Destiny, Chuck and Javier are knowledgeable, positive and supportive, and always offer modifications for all exercises as needed. They offer personal challenges (no weight gain through holidays). Progress is monitored on a regular basis. I actually look forward to my workouts! Highly recommend Alloy!!!

When you find the triple threat… you want to tell everyone! Alloy is the perfect combination of highly talented trainers who can modify the workouts for each person, the most targeted workout plans to maximize your 45 minute workout and the opportunity to workout with other clients who want the same thing - to get stronger! Love my workouts!

I struggle with consistency, and Alloy keeps me accountable for my fitness goals. The trainers are kind and fun, and the small-group environment removes the intimidation factor of a large environment full of weightlifters. I’m developing noticeable muscles in my arms and legs, which haven’t been there in a decade+. I’d encourage anyone who is looking for a comfortable supportive workout environment to check out Alloy.

Alloy makes it easy for me to show up - I value the relationships I've built with the trainers and other clients. Everyone in the class cares about your progress. Small group training is great is great for new or experienced gym-goers. The trainers are so good at modifying the lifts, whether you have a specific injury or need more of a challenge. Give Alloy a shot!

I have been going to Alloy since the beginning of the new year and it has been the best thing for me. Large group fitness classes intimidated me and at Alloy, the small group atmosphere and attention you get from the trainers was the exact push I needed. I recently had my accountability session and seeing results in the short amount of time I've been there really motivates me. The trainers do an amazing job meeting you where you are at in your fitness journey and give you the extra challenge if they know you can do more. It's been such a great addition to the area.

Super clean, new equipment, efficient and fun workouts without the big gym culture. Instructors are easy to understand. If you’re a newbie to working out or if you’ve had enough of big gyms, Alloy is a great place to land.

I have a problem with consistency when it comes to my health goals. If I've had a stressful day or didn't get enough sleep or whatever, it was very easy for me to skip my planned exercise for the day.
I love that Alloy helps me to stay consistent! The atmosphere is always welcoming and makes me feel so motivated! Now I get stressed about having to miss days going to Alloy because I always feel so much better after a workout.

Before joining Alloy, I have been actively playing pickleball at an average of 2 hours per day each week for the past 4 years. However, I still cannot lose the stubborn 20 pounds that I have been trying to lose. I need professional help. After I talked to the Alloy team about my intention, I decided to give Alloy a try. Alloy does not disappoint. Three months’ journey with Alloy has proved to be a rewarding journey for me. Not only did I lose around 8 pounds over the last three months, I also gained strength and muscle during the same time. I joined Alloy with an attempt to lose weight. However, through this journey with Alloy, I discovered that I also need to build muscle strength to offset or delay the loss of muscle mass due to aging. To age gracefully and powerfully as described by Janice, the owner of Alloy.
I enjoy working with each and every trainer at Alloy, i.e. Destiny, Chris, Chuck and Javier. Additionally, the small group working environment provides a group of fun and encouraging teammates. Each session starts with warming up exercises, then followed by 6 sets of different format of workouts including but not limited to weight lifting, core building, etc. Lastly, we will do a stretch session to end the class. Each class has different exercises so one will not feel bored and there is always new workout to learn to do. In addition to training session, Alloy also hosts happy hours and seminars about healthy lifestyles from time to time. I highly recommend Alloy to anyone looking for professional personal training.
Lastly, recently I read a book written by Dr. Peter Attia and I cannot agree more with what he said in his book so much so that I’d like to share a paragraph from Chapter 11 “Exercise: The Most Powerful Longevity Drug” from his book Outlive – The Science & Art of Longevity – “I think of strength training as a form of retirement saving. Just as we want to retire with enough money saved up to sustain us for the rest of our lives, we want to reach older age with enough of a “reserve’ of muscle (and bone density) to protect us from injury and allow us to continue to pursue the activities that we enjoy. It is much better to save and invest and plan ahead, letting your wealth build gradually over decades, than to scramble to try to scrape together an individual retirement account in your late fifties and hope and pray that the stock market gods help you out. Like investing, strength training is also cumulative, its benefits compounding. The more of a reserve you build up, early on, the better off you will be over the long term.”

I met the Alloy team at a local 5K/10K race, and was excited to check them out. I'm glad I did! It was a very fun and efficient workout. Destiny is a great trainer, and the small group setting made it personalized yet community oriented. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to implement consistent exercise in a welcoming environment.

This is an awesome place to train. The coaches/trainers are so knowledgeable and encouraging. The small group atmosphere is supportive and fun. There's plenty of equipment needed to get a challenging, full-body workout. One of the best decisions I've made recently was to become a member at Alloy.
