Staff has been very polite in friendly. Was quick and friendly trying to resolve the issue we had trying to sign up for swimming lessons. The swimming instructors are very kind and patient with the children. We are greeted by a smiling face each time we walk through the door.

I do aquatic Arthritis exercise class and just started the low impact aerobics class. I really like both, everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome.

The Ymca is a good place for the gym BUT if you have a membership the swimming pool should be available all hours this is absolutely ridiculous paying $60-$70 a month for a membership for ONLY the gym. Come on DO BETTER...even for day passes. This is ALL ATCHISON has to offer for children on the weekends unless they go skating. Gotta do better for the residents of Atchison and their families.

Two squat racks with benches, solid dumbbell rack up to 100lbs, weight machines for all the major muscle groups. Couldn't ask for more!
Great place for your moderate-to-advanced weight training / cardio routine.

The friendly greeting you receive upon arrival sets the tone for the rest of your experience at the facility. The staff are excellent at finding what you need for your workouts or rehabilitation. I will continue to frequent the YMCA. It's an extension of home.

Atchison has the small town feel I like and that translates well into this Health facility. The staff are residents of the city they work in and are usually known outside of work. The amenities are all new and the facility is in great shape. Couple that with a variety of classes and you have a solid organization.
