I meant to write this a few weeks ago but it wasn’t working. The gym is run by a very kind and honorable man. I went to him with a problem about my account, I was being charged for a package that I had downgraded from for about 6 mos, anyways, I expected him to tell me there was nothing he could do like most gyms would and was prepared to cancel my membership all together. Instead, he said he was sorry for the mix up and actually credited the difference to my account. I was shooketh. I’ve never been to a gym that has actually had integrity and hasn’t tried to completely screw me.
Shout out to the fantastic manager that helped me. Give him a raise corporate! I was ready to leave and instead told all my friends and they are now planning on switching their gym to Cheifs fit. :)

Ive never been one to negatively write reviews. I’ve been a member here since it opened. While I do love it- why has the big screen not worked in god knows how long? I haven’t been coming as often as I used to but I’ve asked on two separate occasions in the last month and can’t ever get an answer. The front door on the right also isn’t working appropriately. The lockers either have black mold underneath on the inside? Or simply aren’t clean? This facility is incredible. It’s experiencing some wear and tear now that it’s 4-5 years old, it’s going to require some TLC and up keep. If it’s not kept up now— what will this place look like in another 5 years.

The lockers on the plaza location also never lock or are out of commission.

After a workout hiatus, I joined chiefs gym and it has been GREAT. Machines and cardio are available all the time. The gym is super clean. It is not intimidating. I have really enjoyed my personal training with Scott! I am learning a lot and feeling super healthy and confident. It took me three times of walking into this gym before I finally joined. I’m so glad I joined and I go three times a week! If you know you need to join but haven't … now is the time for Chiefs Fit!

While I would recommend this gym for the price point, keep in mind you get what you pay for. Machines are not maintained and when they break they are down for months.

Been going to this gym since May. Initially a bit skeptic, but I was won over by the willingness of the staff and owner to work with me on what my experience could be. All fees were communicated up front, very straight forward discussion on etiquette in the gym (never been to a gym before).

I worked with Grace Mann, one of the personal trainers, for two months on a very friendly deal which was also negotiated. The past three months, I've set and hit personal goals, discussed and practice safety to prevent injury with Grace, and participated in a few group workouts which absolutely leveled me.

Equipment is clearly marked, if it's broken, they've got signs letting you know. Communication and friendly discussion with the owner of the gym easy, trainers will help you out if you're unsure of your exercise.

App integration is solid. You can build and track your workouts in the app when you check in. There's plenty of extra features that also show you thr proper way to do it, and you can substitute or add sets with ease.

All in all, for a first experience, I was worried it'd be like the horror stories I hear out of Genesis or Planet Fitness. Absolutely none of that, and you feel welcomed from the moment you check in.
