Most confusing place ever. Owner always hypes up the changes and no money has ever been reinvested in this place in the 4 years it’s been here. Holes in the walls have been there for YEARS and you pay $40 a month? Scott, the owner, will ignore your texts asking to cancel your membership for WEEKS or MONTHS until you post on Facebook and have to get help from the trainers. Some people can’t afford for you to ignore them Scott, you don’t know peoples financial situation. And in other reviews your say “my numbers on the door” or “I’m easy to reach” but that literally couldn’t be farther from the truth and doesn’t matter if you don’t answer. He acts like he’s available with an email and phone number to reach him at but you’d be lucky to get a response which is crazy behavior from a business owner. You can clearly see a pattern from other reviews. It also is funny how he has a whole merchandise website set up to buy his merch. He has time to do that but not actually take care of the gym? Seems funny to me and many others.

Honestly this place just needs to be sold and given to someone who will actually take care of it and manage it properly. I always like to support local businesses but honestly, with how unprofessional and unethical Scott’s business practices are, Crunch in Olathe is a much better deal for only $10 a month. You can also cancel whenever there. If this place didn’t take over Anytime fitnesses google page, its rating wouldn’t be as high.

EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: Funny how one google review will get you a response within hours. Maybe this is how you should cancel your membership instead of calling or texting. Also, with how you always check if people are a member on these reviews, I’d rather avoid any potential retaliation so I don’t display my personal information for privacy reasons.

I've been trying to cancel my membership for three months. I moved from Kansas and I'm not getting any answers, only the charges to my bank account. I feel like they're doing it with all their intentions. I've sent them emails and messages, what a disappointment. I'll have to pay for someone to travel there personally. It's been three months.

Never able to reach anyone by phone. They charged my credit card weekly without authorization. Tried to cancel membership via email and no response. Had to cancel my credit card and report it as fraud. Do not go here!!

Poor management. The gym is always a mess, weights everywhere with no sense of organization. Holes have been in walls for over a year and the patched holes have yet to be painted. Feels like you’re working out in someones side project of a business. Dumbbells are falling apart. The machines are in decent condition. Also the gym is super hot most of the time, it’s almost as if ac doesn’t exist.

I travel a lot for work and one of the hardest things to find is a good gym. Scott is awesome! This place is 24/7. Has all the equipment you need to tackle any muscle group you are trying to target.

Nice tight knit community is the vibe I get from it. It's super clean. The owner is prob the nicest guy ever. He accommodated me after 11pm so I could get a workout in. It's also 24hrs. I would feel good if my wife workout here alone without a second thought on her safety.(I mean that in the nicest way possible, on my behalf and the gym). I want to know if I can pay per visit bc I travel a lot.

Very nice gym with a quality owner willing to get to know everyone that comes into his gym. I’m not from the area but I travel for work. This is definitely my go to spot for when I do so.

I liked going to this gym. The equipment is mostly in great shape and there's a good variety, water fountain works great, bathrooms showers and washing machine for towels all available. Members are all friendly. Small space but well utilized. It seems a bit pricey for what you get but I haven't been a gym member before so maybe it's normal. There were no fees that I remember besides the key fob.
Unfortunately in 6 years of credit card ownership this is the first time I've had to do a chargeback. When it came time to cancel, the owner stopped responding to me. I then messaged the store number, and they stopped responding to me. I called and they did not answer. My card was continuing to be charged and I had no other choice.

I am moving away, but will miss this gym and the owner. The facility is taken care of very well, and there is a great atmosphere created by the owner and the regulars. I would highly suggest this place for beginners AND seasoned lifters!

This facility has all the equipment that is needed for a variety of different workouts. From cardio to powerlifting equipment the owner doug does a great job at providing a friendly atmosphere as well as quality equipment for all my workout needs

Only been here a little while, I understand it is a gym and not immaculate, but every time I have come it is a mess. Members don’t put their equipment away, and equipment is always spread out where you wouldn’t think to find it. All on top of this wing a small location, there is hardly room for members, never mind the tile and repair equipment that is also out ever since I have been here.
Gets the job done, but messy and doesn’t appear to be well organized.
