Gardner Athletic Club is hands down the worst gym I’ve ever been a member of. The ownership is completely negligent and clearly doesn’t care about the members or the state of the facility. Equipment is constantly broken—some machines have been out of order for months—and nothing ever gets fixed. They somehow have the nerve to charge $50 a month for this disaster of a gym.

You’d expect at least the basics to be functional when you're paying that much, but instead you’re stuck with busted treadmills, unusable weight machines, and outdated everything. And when issues are reported? Crickets. Management is nowhere to be found, and communication is nonexistent.

Do yourself a favor: skip this dump and find literally any other gym. Gardner Athletic Club is a joke.

Don't go here! They have kids running the joint who don't know what they are doing. They double charged me and refused to give me my money back at one point. They say they have to text their boss and their boss will get back to us at the end of the month!!! Horrible customer service. Scam!!!

You will never be able to contact anyone on the phone. You need to go in person to make any changes.

I called around 2pm and was informed to give a call back within 2 minutes because they were signing up someone else. I waited about 10 minutes. I've tried to contact them for the past 30 minutes, and no one has responded.

I'm honestly not happy with this service.

If you want to cancel your membership good luck getting a hold of the staff that are rarely there, they do not answer their phones durring business hours. I requested to cancel my membership months ago via phone which their rep said was fine. Still charging me and said they will only cancel per their contract with a signed request. Joke of a management style, I won't ever be going back. Read the fine print apparently and don't expect anything their employee's tell you to be honored by the management or owners. Seriously just felt like if they had to refund my money after telling them to cancel it would bankrupt them. I hope this will educate future customers of what to expect when canceling.

Very clean gym with a hometown feel. Rarely crowded and 24 hour access is great. The only downsides for me would be the lack of bench press and squat racks but I understand there is limited space.

Nice clean gym with dumbells going all of the way up to 100! Also a great selection of machines and cardio equipment. I liked that they offer a month to month membership for a little extra per month

Clean and never crowded. Reasonably priced. Small, but there's at least one of everything you'll need! Love it here! Only downside - I wish they had better/more lighting in the back parking lot for those of us who come in when it's still dark out.

Very friendly little gym! I have spent some considerable time here. The owners do a good job of keeping the space clean and fixing broken equipment in a timely manner. They have all the standard cybex brand weight machines you'd expect, benches, and free weights as well. There is a smith machine for barbell work, but no olympic barbells. They do have the smaller fixed weight barbells. Additionally there is a nice classroom space for the group classes, but I don't have any experience with those.

This is my second home! I have been a member for over 10 years and wouldn't change a thing. They offer fit camp classes, yoga and much more! Love this gym!
