Homefield was the perfect place for an athletic kid's birthday. The pizza was delicious, you can tell it's homemade. The staff was helpful and the environment had great vibes. The area was clean and everyone had the best time!

Very nice complex, well organized Basketball tournament. Like how the parents sit above the basketball courts. Very well designed. The snack areas are very nice. Cost is very reasonable.

We went there for VB tournament and it was packed. Parking was pretty questionable. Spectator seating is very poor. The place does not seem well suited to host such events.

For soccer past the younger ages, its a different type of setup. The βbigβ field is long but not wide. The viewing area very limited and youβre looking through a net at best, and directly at a steel beam at worst. There is a training area thats closed off next to the stands, which is unfortunate because it takes up any sort of access to see the opposite side of the field.
The young kid fields also appear to have limited spots to view the kids play. Homefield did at least upgrade their indoor soccer fields recently so thats a plus, i guess?
The baseball and volleyball side seem fine. Idk, my kids donβt play those spots and I havenβt spent any real time on that side.
Parking in the back is also limited. Wouldnβt hurt if they painted someone way arrows in the back. Inevitably someone is always driving upstream in the back parking lot.

So the weekend of 2/1 they shut down a large volleyball tournament last minute at midday due to sewage issues. There was water pooling on the floors, coming up through thru courts and restrooms not usable. Nothing official yet on how to make that right for all the teams.
Again the weekend of 2/8-2/9, on Sunday around midday all the restrooms closed, water shut off, floors flooding in some areas and they continued volleyball play until at least after 4p but no one could use bathrooms or water. It got super gross as people were still trying to get into bathrooms but not flush!
Not to mention the volleyball courts are too crowded, lacking divider netting between courts to play was interrupted a lot with loose balls, not enough room to serve on some ends, very limited space on the sides of the courts to go for balls and some courts the net height was significantly different from one side to the other (ie, about 8β off left to right side).
Itβs overall unacceptable and clearly a continuing issue.

This is the second year that we have used Homefield as one of the locations on our all night, youth event (500 kids) they had a lot of their big fields and courts open so our kids could just run around and play. Itβs a very nice facility and the staff are always great to work with.

Huge building. Really nice amenities.
But not the best ethics. They terminated gabl lease without notice. I get there were business reasons we do t know of. But that affects a lot of kids. That is a lame way of doing things.

Went to Homefield Olathe this morning (it was raining) to get my son some throwing work while he rehabs his non throwing wrist. Been to Homefield many times and have spent thousands of dollars there over our years (memberships and day passes). When we arrived, the young man who was the desk attendant may have been one of the most obnoxious teenagers I have ever met. Rude and disrespectful.
We walked in and asked to buy a day pass to use the big turf field. No one was in there and lights were off. All he said to me was "No day passes on the weekends". I preceded to try and ask him questions about how much, why we cannot use facility, etc... asked him 6 different questions and all he said was "No day passes on the weekends" with a smirk on his face. Completely rude!
God help us with what we are raising as kids. We will not be back and will take our business elsewhere. Plenty of facilities out there who will be more than happy to have our continued repeat business.
I never write reviews, but this deserves to be mentioned.

My buddies and I have hit there on Saturday mornings for about a year and a half now. Last week, we were told we could no longer purchase passes or rent tunnels because they were spoken for and even if not in use, could not be used by us. We've never had any problems or issues before, but now that Building Champions owns it, we have nowhere to hit. Beyond frustrating and poor service given to loyal customers. About as JOCO as it gets, unfortunately.

TOP NOTCH!!!
Homefield is an amazing sports/workout facility. Not only do they have a full gym with all the necessary machines, weights, tires, ropes, equipment etc. but they have tons of spaceβ¦ TONS, for indoor soccer, I believe 4-5 pitches, turf areas for practice or for FLAG FOOTBALL. Yes they now offer certain times/nights for flag football, ask Jordan up front for more details. They have areas for basketball, baseball/batting cages & pitching tunnels (I believe thatβs what you call it). This is one of the cleanest facilities Iβve ever worked out at, I take that seriously when looking for a place to exercise. The staff is so kind and welcoming, especially Jordan!! Thanks for your hospitality. Another perk is that this facility is within two minutes of my jobβ¦ It has very close access to the highway and other shopping centers, restaurants and more. The membership is reasonable and well worth it, especially for everything they offer. I do not use a personal trainer but they do offer personal trainers if needed. I highly recommend it here!!!

Beautiful facility, stupid rules. They keep all of the fields locked up so that kids have to find random corners to properly warm up. The seating for family is atrocious, you feel like you're watching the game from the upper corner of arrowhead. Everything is locked down like a prison. Terribly disappointed.

Great facility, once you figure out where to enter. There's no exterior signage, and driving around to the back is counter-intuitive. Make sure to give yourself extra time if arriving for a practice or game, if it's your first time. The entrance is on the west side of the building. You'll see 2115 above the door. Google should adjust the pin to that point on the building, since most of us are using our GPS to find the entrance. You're welcome! :-)
