Not inclusive whatsoever. Adults with no accountability run this establishment. I would steer clear if you have any disabled children. I recommend staying and watching your children during class if you’re not already. Scott: You’re response is misleading and reiterating my point. My kids had two classes left and I chose not to take them. Thats why I didn’t continue enrollment, not lack of payment. Why would I pay to go and watch your coach bully my son? Despite having autism, my son did listen. My kids aren’t above the rules, Scott. They also attend other public activities with no issues. Your coach targeted my son and said his name like 50 times each class, he would throw his hands up to the side and roll his eyes if my kid didn’t respond immediately in a loud gym. Then screamed at him to sit out of class. I went to multiple classes to see if the coach would have a better attitude and even pulled him aside to discuss the issue. I hope you all do better in the future.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Jayhawks Gymnastics. We have tried other gyms in town and this is definitely the one my 5 year old daughter has liked the best! They also have great open gyms that are free to students and events on Friday nights, which my daughter loves! They even have adult gymnastics which is a lot of fun!

Absolutely delighted with our experience with the gymnastics and ninja classes! Scott, has been incredibly supportive, always quick to respond, and ensures we're in the right classes. I cannot speak highly enough of Coach Amy with the youngest years. Melody (my daughter) loves coming here each week. They offer ninja bases classes (parkour and flexibility) as well as karate upstairs. I do wish they had better air conditioning in the large gym as I have to go to work right after her class and am always dripping when I leave. But I know it is hard to keep that all so cool in the weather we've been having

We started attending classes at Jayhawk Gymnastics during Covid, shortly after they opened. We started with a morning parent-child classes then moved onto the 3-5 year old Ninja class, adding a Ninja class for our first grader. We just started back up after a busy summer for my younger daughter and she just loves the classes! I don't know much about gymnastics but it is clear this is a quality gym with engaged and knowledgeable teachers who meet the kids where they are at. Most recently, we hosted my daughter's 5th birthday party at the gym and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. A big thanks to Scott and his team for a great program and space!

So glad we tried Jayhawk Gymnastics. There is plenty of variety of times and classes to choose from. It has been a lot of fun to watch how much my kids have improved in the past 9 months that we have been going. Not only that but they have an adult gymnastics class (I am a beginner) and it has been really great for me. It actually fixed some back pain that I have had for the past 8 years 😅

Update to my original post. My older daughter (11!) is now on the competition gymnastics team. She loves it and the coaches are so supportive! She feels like she is making great progress and not being told over and over again her mistakes-this is important to her as she is motivated by positive feedback rather than a negative based approach (not that they don't give constructive feedback it is just focused to also include the positives). My younger daughter (10) loved the ninja classes there so much that she went on to do competition ninja. She does have to go to another gym in KC for that-but it was the classes at JG that spring boarded her love for ninja into a sport. I can't believe it's been 3 years since we started with JG but we've never looked back.

We've had one ninja gymnastics class and my 7 and 8 year old daughters loved it. The instructor was encouraging and friendly. The owner answered all my questions and seems very dedicated to the gym. The class is perfect for kids who love to challenge themselves athletically, but maybe don't want to have to have the perfect form (my kids actually love gymnastics, but this is a great change of pace). The kids kind of get to control what they do and how they do it. My daughters having been asking every day when the next class is.

This place is state of the art, with great equipment and top notch instructors. My family especially enjoys the Ninja program and the Tumbling program right now. We love Jayhawk Gymnastics because they have something to offer everyone.

Love the idea that allows make up days of missed, and appreciates reaching out asking how they can help with make up days. Both my girls enjoy the instructors and are always looking forward to the day they get to go. I also like having the option of a time that is available when there is no school. Give the option for my child to go somewhere safe and can expend some energy.

Had my daughters 11th birthday party here yesterday, didn’t know what to expect, but definitely exceeded what ever expectations I thought I had. The staff was super patient, professional and friendly, wish I remembered the two ladies name. All the kids had a blast, thinking about enrolling my daughter in their classes now. Not big on giving reviews but my experience was that great thank you Jayhawk gymnastics for the experience!!!

I have NEVER done a google review before, but felt compelled too...my daughter is enrolled in the pre-school gymnastics class and it is AMAZING! She has learned so much just in a few short months with them. The coaches are amazing and any interaction I've had with the owner, Scott, have been nothing but positive and professional. Unfortunately, we are moving to Japan so we won't be able to continue, but had to say something about the positive and great experience we have had with this gymnastics program!

Scott, the owner, is knowledgeable with a wealth of experience. He is professional and responsive. The coaches are highly trained and great with the kids. The gym and equipment are new and the parent waiting/observation room is great! Open gyms are free for enrolled students - a huge plus!
