About two years ago, my husband and I were looking for some extra encouragement and organization to our exercise routine. Although we were both fairly active, and exercise had been a part of my regular routine since college, at age 55 I was getting very lazy. We contacted Jen and have been working out with her twice a week since. I highly recommend her! She is organized, knowledgeable, and creative with our workouts We have a unique situation of splitting time between onsite and Zoom sessions, which doesn’t faze her a bit. My husband and I also appreciate her super adaptability to injuries(broken wrist)and/or aches and pains that we have. Now, at age 57 I am stronger and feel more confident than I have in years! Additionally, a recent bone scan revealed my bone density has improved! That’s due to lifting weights! Thank you, Jen!!

My wife and I have been training twice a week with Jen for almost 2 years. I'm 56, and initially sought a trainer to help strengthen my back in hopes to avoid surgery. I also needed inspiration to help get into a better workout routine for improved health and weight loss.
Jen has been absolutely tremendous to work with, and the results have been great!
I've lost weight, gained muscle, and my back feels better than it has in 15 years. She also has me doing pull-ups again, which I hadn't done since high school!
Jen is an excellent trainer, and I highly recommend her.

Jen is an excellent trainer. I interviewed several personal trainers before choosing her and I'm so happy. I'm an over 65 year old woman and I've been working with her for over a year now. However, she would be my recommendation for any age/goal/gender. She is non-judgmental, encouraging (without being too over the top), adaptable, and empathetic. She will work with you whatever your goals. I am stronger, more fit, with better balance and just in general feel better every day because of her.

Jen Kalbas at KPT Fit Solutions meets you where you are, and develops a customized approach that is both flexible and structured. Jen's knowledge of anatomy and physiology is science backed and also experiential. I have always been hesitant to weight train because of worry that I will exacerbate existing chronic patterns. Jen has helped educate me through our sessions together and also has an excellent library of instructional videos that are available for review when you are doing workouts on the road. I also really enjoy Jen's kindness and natural ease. I highly recommend KPT FIT Solutions to support you on your health journey.

I've been working with Jen on Zoom for almost a year. Her friendly, encouraging, and supportive approach have me lifting more than I ever thought possible, and my strength and confidence around my own fitness have grown a ton. Jen has had a contagiously positive impact on our entire home.

My husband started working with her first. It was clear this additional support was doing more than help him maintain a workout routine. He was also feeling stronger, happier, and more resilient in the face of stress - key since we have two young kids!

I wondered if Jen might be able to help me too. As veterinarian, I wanted to make sure I was working with someone qualified. From what I could find, Jen's certification as a personal trainer (NASM CPT) was considered the most respected.

Jen is a joy to work with. She's down to earth, kind, and a good listener. She's also clearly customized her approach to our unique goals and challenges.

Personally I'd say the only thing better than working with Jen is having multiple people in your family working with her. We've been able to multiply her positive influence because seeing each other do the work reminds and inspires us to stay on track too. Working out is now a regular part of our routine and we've made positive, healthy, and incremental changes in our family meal planning.

I truly cannot recommend Jen enough and feel incredibly lucky for the ways she's helping me build healthier habits that can last me a lifetime.

Jen at KPT Fit Solutions is the absolute best!!!!! She is a total professional with years of training which is evident in everything from her onboarding, to her training plans and sessions and workout space. Are you a beginner, no problem!!! Out of shape and looking for inspiration, no problem! High level athlete looking for a challenge, Jen can tackle that too!! Best of all, you get results!!! She starts with foundational movement and builds from there ensuring proper form along the way. Jen’s approach to fitness and training is way beyond anything I’ve ever been offered in a standard gym setting. Jen helped me regain mobility after a frozen shoulder, and to build strength and confidence as I worked through another difficult medical diagnosis. Jen has been training me (remotely) for about 5 months. The experience has been excellent. She’s very knowledgeable about helping clients with corrective exercises, so injury and/or re-injury are never a concern. As someone who is pretty self-aware & in-tune with my own body, I appreciate the consistent two-way feedback and flexibility when things don’t feel “right” for me. This is not a one-size-fits-all training program; it’s individualized especially for each individual.

I've been working with Jen for almost 3 months. I came to her with old and new injuries and was looking to become stronger to overcome core muscle weakness and loss of balance.
Here's what happened; She evaluated the level of injury, created exercises that work towards accomplishing our goals and when my joints didn't like a certain exercise (i.e. pain), we stopped, re-evaluated, and found another way to get the maximum benefit.
I'm now going up and down stairs with confidence, and have a greater awareness of my physical abilities.
Jen isn't an in-your-face trainer. She's knowledgeable, understands the kinesiology of the body, and pushes you when you need it. I highly recommend Jen Kalbas for all of your personal fitness goals.

Jen is one of the best instructor/trainers that I have had. She puts a ton of energy into her work, whether it is classes or training. She is also very knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, and delivers tips/information in a way that is easy to understand and fun. Some instructors can be intimidating and preachy, not Jen. She shares her knowledge easily and uses her own personal experiences to help illustrate the subject she is talking about. Cardio-kickboxing classes were something that I used to avoid, thinking they were too difficult. I tried one of Jen's classes and was an instant convert. Jen is an amazing trainer. I have worked with many trainers in the past, and Jen combines all of best qualities of other trainers. Jen is incredibly knowledgeable and is able to design an individualized fitness program that meets you where you are and helps you achieve and exceed your goals. Jen's programs are designed with purpose for each individual and are focused on improving every muscle group (large and small) - every movement has a purpose and the program will evolve and change as you get stronger and fitter.
But working with Jen is much more than working with a fitness trainer. Jen's programs have a strong focus on nutrition, and with her in-depth knowledge of nutrition Jen will help you better understand the foods you eat and how to properly fuel your body to achieve your goals. Jen truly develops a "Fit Solution" that is personalized and unique to each client.

I have been working with Jen Kalbas for a few months now. I started seeing results within the first month! I've trained with Jen both in person and via Zoom. She is incredibly knowledgable and encouraging. Even on Zoom she is able to correct one's form and identify trouble spots. For example, how to correct form on lunges to avoid knee issues. She customizes follow-up work for each client; this is more than exercise - this is comprehensive wellness. Additionally, she researches constantly to provide regimens that maximize your exercise time.
She is very professional, at the same time engaging and a pleasure to work with. I recommend her highly.

Jen LISTENS to your goals and concerns and then customizes your own personalized training sessions - nothing routine about them. I really appreciate that she is flexible with our sessions all the while making them fun and fly by! Her in depth knowledge of the body, targeted stretches, fitness and nutrition has always impressed me as does her passion for helping you make you the best you can be. I train via zoom and at first was not sure how effective it would be. I can honestly say that I do not have these concerns anymore. Through effective demonstrations, coaching videos, and her social media videos I feel as though she is right there with me. I highly recommend her!
