This academy's training is quite intense. That might be tough for some kids to handle but it truly helps kids grow.
Gaining so much not only in Taekwondo skills but also in personal growth and discipline.
My child has been learning and growing in many meaningful ways, both physically and mentally.

My son has been attending classes at Jeong’s Taekwondo for about 8 months. He was very timid, shy, and generally uncomfortable around large groups of people outside of family. He was easily intimidated (even by smaller/younger kids) so he often played alone at school. Taekwondo has helped his confidence grow in so many ways. Head instructor John is a gifted individual who knows how to work with/teach a wide range of children (loud, rambunctious ones who can’t sit still, the criers, the rule breakers, the littles who refuse to participate etc.) Instructor John is patient, kind yet assertive. He gives individual attention to each student while making the class time efficient (several expert/advanced students are often present to help the younger kids as well.) They offer a good balance of fun activities (relay races, obstacle courses) but also teach focus and discipline. The independence and confidence my son has gained from playing sports and doing Taekwondo are invaluable. He has learned to speak up, not only for himself but for others as well. I highly recommend Jeong’s if you’re looking for anything I described above for your child/children.

I've been attending Jeong's for about four years now. I strongly recommend this taekwondo studio to anyone of all ages. The instructors and school staff are great with children and the school has a strong sense of community. Master Kiho Jeong is a world champion. The discipline and the dedication he brings to his art is phenomenal. Both my Kids are his students at his studio in Overland Park. The only words that truly do justice to his dedication is the famous Sanskrit saying

"Guru'r Bramha, Guru'r Vishu, Guru'r Devo Maheshwara".

Meaning, the Guru is the Creator, the Guru manages the goings and the Guru is the destroyer all things obsolete.
