Lion Chaser Barbell is a strength training facility in Gardner, KS that serves athletes of all ages. Specializing in the sport of weightlifting, Lion Chaser Barbell boasts multiple Team USA athletes and national champions and are a registered USA Weightlifting club. Aside from the weightlifting team, general youth strength training is also available.

Our 10-year-old daughter joined Lion Chaser Barbell’s summer program and absolutely fell in love. She didn’t miss a single day. It truly became the highlight of her week! She looked forward to every session, not just for the workouts, but for the encouraging atmosphere, the strong values, and the sense of empowerment she felt. We also love that it’s a Christian-based program, where faith is woven into the encouragement and community. The coach created such a positive, welcoming environment that made her feel capable, strong, and inspired. We couldn’t be more grateful for the experience and can’t wait to see her continue growing with Lion Chaser Barbell in the future!

Exceptional Olympic weightlifting gym! The coaches are highly knowledgeable and supportive, creating a motivating and inclusive environment for athletes of all levels. I’ve been working with Brad for about a year now and I have learned so much from him in such a short amount of time. I’ve seen huge improvements with my technique, more confidence at meets, and even through an injury he still continued to work with me on the small things I could do. Absolutely love the Fit Strong classes! I was terrified to start because I was so out of shape and I've always had an irrational fear of working out "in front of" other people. But Brad is amazing and adjusts the workouts to meet you where you are on your health journey and everyone is SO. INCREDIBLY. ENCOURAGING. The classes have a huge variety of movements and every workout is different so there is no getting bored. You definitely do enough work to notice improvement relatively quickly (and Brad gently pushes you to challenge yourself), but not so much that you're dead for the rest of the week after one class. The classes are also small enough that you get the help/attention you need when you need it instead of struggling through because you're blending into a large group. Before Lion Chaser, I dreaded going to the gym. With Lion Chaser, it's my favorite part of my mornings!

Brad is a phenomenal coach! He’s great at paying attention to the details, giving good feedback, and being patient. He works well with both kids and adults, and teaches more than just weightlifting. I love that the things my daughter is learning — grit, determination, patience, consistency, being will to fail, etc — will apply to all facets of her life. Highly recommend Lion Chaser Barbell.
