Workout here probably 4-5 times a year while I'm in town. Nicer than most gyms in Dallas Texas.

There is also not a single particle of dust anywhere. They keep it insanely clean. Nice sauna, and equipment you'd only get at a "lifters gym" like this. MMA classes on top of that too.

Terrible since munsch left they turned on anyone that had special offers told them nothing and played dumb to there being any. Claiming stolen memberships... When no one can just be given two cards on one membership they have to be given and programmed. They refuse to cancel unless you bring the cards in. They say it's in the contract but I have yet to see where I signed that. Asked for it to be emailed to me. Never came. So others may have signed that but I didn't. They also forgot how to wash towels they smell like death like they are being washed then just left there then thrown in the dryer cause they smell like mold. They need to change their name cause munsch fitness without munsch is like toysrus without toys. One star cause I have to pick one

The gym and all the staff there are amazing! I was in town from Arkansas to visit my cousin and watch him graduate from the police academy. I am training for my bodybuilding show so having a gym while traveling is important. They allowed me to lift for free for a day to test it out and showed me around the whole facility. I went here since the hot water is out at the dorms and I really needed a hot shower. Day passes are $5, but since it was my first time there, I got a free day. I didn't use the equipment, but it looked nice. The shower was AMAZING though! Very clean, they have lockers and cubbies in a room separated from the regular bathrooms by a curtain. Then another curtain for the shower, which is very spacious and handicapped accessible.

Drove an hour out of the way just to work out here. Very well kept, enough free weights for you to pretend you are Ronnie Coleman. I had my right arm pretty well mulched in a freak accident, and I chose Munsch as the place to start rebuilding it. The equipment has low enough weight settings for me to rehabilitate my arm while still being able to workout. Definitely recommend.

I originally posted because they told me the gym would be open when it wasn’t. I had emailed Alex Munsch and he told me to come by, only for me to come and find out the gym was closed. However, even though they still haven’t gotten back to me (you’d think I’d at least get an email response…), I’m going to assume it was a miscommunication between the owner on site and the owner not in town. Still unhelpful, but so be it. Will give it a try next time I’m in town due to the mostly good reviews, though I’m hoping I at least get an explanation before then. Will update again if I hear back, as well as when I get a chance to see the gym.

From the moment I signed up for Munsch Fitness it has been a welcoming and great experience. Alex greeted my girlfriend and I with handshakes. I even asked him what I might focus on in the beginning after not working out for a while. Ended up putting our membership on pause due to Covid and then enabling it with ease. The gym atmosphere is friendly and safe. Alex has since given me advice on health related questions for where I want to be personally. Overall great gym and management. Worth the money and time. Im In hays for a couple of days for work and was recommended this place from a friend and it did NOT disappoint! Been to gyms around the US like Alphalete and Zoo culture and I’d throw this place right up there with them. All the equipment you possibly need!! I'm a YMCA member in Wichita. I was traveling for work but still needed a place to work out. I found Munsch and thought I'd check it out. A day pass is only $5. It is WELL worth it. This place has every piece of equipment and specialty bar you need. They even have belts and straps if you need to borrow something. There is also a supplement and smoothie bar of you need a little extra boost of vitamins or protein. The staff was helpful and the facilities were clean and organized. I'll be back for sure!
