Orange Sky is loving and energizing community if you need a space to practice yoga, barre, and spin. They also offer HIIT and pilates classes. I've gone to Orange Sky for over a year and the instructors are always kind and welcoming.

Highly recommend! Had a fantastic all-levels class with Lyndsey today. As a beginner I felt challenged but not over exerted, and was comfortable going my own pace moving through the exercises.
The cool lavender towel at the end was the icing on the cake!

Coming from Colorado to visit family. Needed an ode to our normal routine and this studio answered. Drop-in class was the ticket for our week-or-so here. Downtown aggieville

Erin Beyer is fantastic. I tried hot yoga for the first time ever while visiting my daughter at Kansas State. I would highly recommend Erin and Orange Sky Yoga.

From someone who usually doesn't like group classes and quits them easily: I really love this studio. I've been going for almost two months now, and I'm so glad that I gave it a try. I've done almost every class type and had a lot of the instructors - they're all so positive and motivating! They say the things I need to tell myself more often both during a workout and in life.

The instructors give variations and zero judgement for those of us who can't hold a certain pose for long, or do a movement to the max, or need time to recover. These instructors taught me to actually listen to my body and make adjustments as I need them, and they encourage it.

As for results, I had some unexpected ones! I gained flexibility in my arms that I didn't know I'd lost. I can hold poses with much more ease. And I can quiet my mind a lot better. All of this in addition to my overall strength increase.

I've tried workout classes throughout my life, and the vibe here is just different. I don't have to do a big mental battle to get myself through a workout. I want to come to class. I want to be here.

As for some of the older reviews I've read, a lot of the issues mentioned I haven't seen myself. So it seems that they do listen to feedback and improve. The payment process was easy, and the app for class signup was very simple and straightforward for me.

All in all, this is a solid studio that I will continue to go to as my schedule and budget permits. I love it here!

This may sound dramatic, but Orange Sky has completely changed my life in Manhattan. I moved here this summer, and didn't have any friends here, didn't have a job, etc. I have now made numerous friends from Orange Sky that I hang out with at workouts, and outside of workouts! Such a fun little community!

All of the instructors are awesome. Both Alex's for spin are amazing, Erica teaches such a fun Barre (beyonce barre... lady gaga barre... iconic). Erin is soooo much fun for yoga. They have great music, and are all very encouraging! I've lost 15lbs since starting my workouts there and feeling great :) So happy I joined!

Love going to Orange Sky for barre and yoga! The instructors are very friendly and helpful; I've been greeted every time I come in and they are great at helping you get equipment, etc. My only suggestion would be for management to consider more all-levels classes, or classes that people of any availability would be able to work through. Quite a few classes, with yoga in particular I've noticed, can get quite intense and fast-paced. It can be a lot for some of us older practitioners...and by older, I mean those of us who aren't college students haha

I did the hot yoga session with David today. With all of the instructors that I've ever done hot yoga with, he was the most patient and user-friendly. His pace wasn't overwhelming and he consistently reminded all of us of alternate movements, or just checking in with our posture or ourselves, which is rare for a yoga instructor.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this studio. All of the classes are great--there is something for everyone! I really appreciate there are virtual attendance options for some of their classes. Every instructor I have encountered is knowledgable, encouraging, and kind. Just really beautiful energy in this place. Highly recommend! :)

Really nice range of classes offered, from barre to hot yoga to normal yoga to yin/restorative yoga. I've been doing yoga for quite a few years at many different studios, and from experience I can say this is a good studio with professional and kind teachers. Great open vibe at the place as well- everyone is so friendly. Definitely would recommend :)

This studio was okay but the customer service and technology they use is seriously lacking. They had me sign up for a 3 month membership but I have no access to my account in the way a lot of other studios do. I can't see my balance and there is no way to cancel my membership through by logging in. I went in to cancel my membership and the receptionist could not help me and told me to call or email. I called several times and finally had to leave a message and there has been no response. I emailed the owner on April 30th and had no response. Now I was charged again today for a membership I have tried to cancel for the past month in 3 different ways. I am now forced to dispute the charges with my credit card since there is no way I am going to pay another month for a membership I have not been able to use since January.

Orange Sky Yoga is hands down the best yoga/spin studio I’ve ever been to! The facility is very clean and well maintained and the instructors are knowledgeable and very friendly. I highly recommend Grace Duque’s Yin Yoga class for those of you in desperate need of relaxation. I left feeling like a huge burden had been lifted off my shoulders! Thanks y’all!

That's a cool yoga studio with a variety of different instructors. My two favorite ones are Sarah Hawver and Jessa Voos.

I love this studio. The instructors are very well trained and open to answering questions to help you deepen your practice - both from a physical standpoint, as well as the mental side of yoga. They really just want you to understand what yoga can do for your life/body/mind/soul, so there is no condescension if you are a beginner. There is quite a variety in the skill level of classes that are offered at various times throughout the day/week. As I've evolved in my practice, I've become more curious about the more advanced classes, and the teachers are very helpful in coaching me through modifications and variations of poses that I might not have the skill/strength level to try safely.

The spin classes are really intense, and I appreciate the variety of teaching styles among the different instructors. If you are interested in trying a spin class at OSY, I highly recommend Sarah. She's so fun, the music is great, and she pushes you hard... but you see results!

The barre classes are also really challenging and fun, but I don't get to attend them as often as I like because the class times do not align with my schedule.

It really is a community, the people are friendly and welcoming. It's also a beautiful studio. I see myself going there for a very long time.

All that being said, I do have a couple of suggestions. First, ditch the water bottles in favor of a Culligan water cooler or something similar. It bothers me that we go through so many plastic bottles there every day and yet don't recycle. Encourage people to bring their own refillable water bottles. Secondly, the music and climate control does not work consistently, so we need to figure that out! Spinning in an 85 degree room makes me grumpy, and the music thing frustrates the teachers.

Apart from that, keep up the good work! I highly recommend OSY!

It's such a beautiful place! Really nice staff. But my God!! Coldest class I've ever taken! I had goose bumps the whole time with the fans and aircon going. And a little disappointed with the yoga class. There were no counter poses for back bends, which is dangerous. And the music was pretty loud. I don't think I will be going back.

I took my first barre class with Rachel and had a blast! The studio is very modern, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Rachel was so nice and helpful with my form questions and encouraging the whole time! I have been looking for a safe, friendly, and comfortable environment to work out in and this is it! Thank you Rachel and all the staff at Orange Sky!

I had a great first experience visiting Orange Yoga Sky for a strong flow class led by Jessa. The space was wonderful, checking-in was easy, and the class was wonderful. I anticipate going back in the future, and encourage anyone in the Manhattan area to stop by for a class.

I rarely review, but I'd like to correct a few things written in a prior review. The youngest instructor is 27, so I'm not sure where prior reviewer made the decision that everyone is in their early 20's. Perhaps he/she is slightly offended by the youthful glow of instructors. While I appreciate that some may "have REAL stress" as opposed to everyone else's fake stress (myself being a public defender, I clearly live an entirely stress-free existence) but I'm not sure where the prior reviewer's thoughts on trivia came from (perhaps they wandered into Mae's nearby and did yoga during trivia night?) as the only question I've ever been asked is "how are you? how does that feel? Is that modification okay?" Prior reviewer is correct that there are not a lot of physical adjustments, as the very well-trained teachers know that adjusting a student's body with which they are unfamiliar could lead to injury. Yes, poses are often repeated as it is a Vinyasa-style flow studio (for the most part) and often do ladder classes that build upon repeated poses. This is also fantastic for people new to yoga who may need some repetition to learn the names and positions of popular asanas. Finally, I just have to say this statement is what brought me to review: "[The instructors] lack perspective on life and never say insightful things... never say meditative relaxing things or play music that is relaxing. It bothers me a lot as I simply do not want to here about the little anecdotes of their lives." <-- typos aside, prior reviewer is correct that the instructors ARE actual human beings with thoughts and feelings, and not yoga animatronic robots. They might talk about their lives. They might even play a little Wu-Tang. It's actually goddamn awesome. Also, if you are so into yourself that you believe that you can judge whether someone has "perspective on life" based on how they teach a yoga class, you should probably look inward.
Tl;dr - Yoga is good. This yoga studio is really good. Teachers are not robots, and you do not have to play trivia.

I have practiced yoga for 20 years in New York and other cities in the midwest. The studio is nice, and you will get your yoga fix if you are looking for it - but here are the downsides: instructors gab about their own lives constantly, the trivia during and before class (most are in their early 20's) is so boring for those of us seeking relief from REAL stress. They lack perspective on life and never say insightful things. The whole class is catered to anyone who is 10-25. They never say meditative relaxing things or play music that is relaxing. It bothers me a lot as I simply do not want to here about the little anecdotes of their lives. What also bothers me is that are not well trained - they do not know about variations of poses, nor do they use the time to explore many poses. Poses are often repeated 10-20 times (why do that if you there are so many variations and so many poses to draw from!?). One more thing -
they do not adjust people (but in the midwest studios do not seem to adjust much). I find the classes monotonous and they favor being on your wrists a LOT - so if you have any kind of wrist pain, even slight, these classes are not for you. And, if you step out, they will scold you - these teachers could benefit from more hours of certified training - not with the owner but in certified schools or abroad, at least 400 hrs.
