Legends Planet Fitness is a great place to work out. It's always clean, the staff is friendly, they always say "Hello" and "Good bye" when entering and leaving the building. They are helpful with questions. The value is worth the cost. The app is a welcome tool for workouts I recommend PF to anyone who will listen.

Edit: Sadly this place is going downhill. Lots of broken machines all the time. They STILL don't have the Total Body machine. I was told, in January, that it would be the next month. And every month after that, the next month. 10 months later, it's still not here. It's still closer than my other gym, but I might be leaving this one.

First off 1 star! because the employee that goes by the name of ABBY was rude and reaked of body odor! didn’t want to give me a tour when asked, the overall professionalism was horrible I turned around and left this establishment, he was behind the counter changing clothes and I was entirely appalled I had no business seeing a grown man’s undergarments nor did my young daughter. Planet fitness needs to handle this unprofessional action immediately.

Your customer service is awful and your respect for customers is why I’m canceling my contract with Planet Fitness. I have a Black Card. I only use it to access the additional amenities and locations around the Kansas City metro area.
I went into the location at: 10500 Parallel Parkway Kansas City, Kansas 66109 . I signed up for 3 consecutive sessions of the massage chair . When my 3rd session came up your staff had removed me from the queue saying someone else had been waiting . What’s the purpose in signing in for slotted times if you just ignore the slotted times and move people out . They wanted me to wait for 15 additional minutes despite already being next in line . I’m not doing business with your company anymore you don’t even follow your own system . Making someone wait after they already signed up for their designated time is bad business. All they had to do was tell the other customer someone else was before them .

This place has done a really good job at keeping the facilities clean, the equipment working, and the staff is unobtrusive. People come here to workout, not to date, and that is exactly what I was wanting. While there's always at least one paper towel dispenser that isn't operational, that's unavoidable because people are consistently using them which means the machines are actually clean.

Hands down the best gym I’ve been to! The staff are very welcoming and the cleanliness of the facility is like none other! I’m usually the type to get a membership and never use it, but ever since I’ve become a black card member, I’ve been in the gym at least 4 times a week just for the massage chairs and hydro beds. It’s definitely a great bang for your buck and I can confidently say this is the best planet fitness location in the area!

I often try all of the Planet Fitnesss for activity. I normally live in West Cost and have visited almost all of the Planets in California and stopped by here while passing through. It was without a doubt the best Planet Fitness I have ever been to. Big showers, huge space and spacious locker rooms. I wish all Planet Fitnesss were like this. 🤙

Awful! I come here as a guest with a family member and I get harassed all the time and asked who I’m with. I point out and even say the members name each time I walk in. Yesterday June 17th, 2025 I got followed through my 45min workout! The “trainer” pretended to train someone next to me, wander around, pretending to sanitize equipment, and even followed me to the restroom!! She walked in and used the stall next to me and waited till I got out. As soon as I’m leaving the gym I get stopped and asked again who my black card member is to where I point him out again!! I felt so uncomfortable and harassed being followed, especially to the bathroom stall!! We simply could’ve have this interaction at the beginning of my workout.

This is actually the best planet fitness I’ve been to ever, anywhere. It’s huge! So spacious it doesn’t seem packed any of the times I’ve been. The have a wide array of equipment you don’t see at just any PF gym. The staff was very nice and went the extra mile since I told them it was my first time there. I was looking for a nearby gym while I waited in line digitally at the DMV and came across this much to my surprise. I only have a planet fitness as a spare membership for when my normal gym is closed but I will go out of my way to go to this one from here on.

I have frequented most of the planet fitnesses in the Kansas City area, and this is one of the newest ones. However, it is also one of my least favorite planet fitness gyms in the area. Is started when I first walked in and instead of having the scanner desk near the door you have to make a hard left and walk out of your way how to get to the scan in desk. And when scanning in the attendant requested that I change my home gym to their gym. I said I will see, let me check it out. And then she requested that I fill out their sign in sheet. I explained that I am a black card member but she requested I fill it out anyway. On my way to the locker room, they placed the men's locker room in the exact farthest back corner possible, and there was a worker mopping the men's locker room floor ladened heavy with water requiring me to do a ballerina move to not get my socks wet while changing into my gym shorts. The water cooler did not cool the water it was room temperature. The Black card room, which normally has big comfy chairs and sofas to relax in had two chairs which were not comfortable and in the main walkway of Grand Central station of all of the employees presumably walking back and forth to offices. In the wash stations, where you wet a rag and wipe down your machine or so far and few between that it seems like they don't want you doing that anymore. And my final complaint is, they did not install a 30-minute workout room which is I think is one of the greatest features of a planet fitness gym. But, it is a large gym and clean.

Another reason I keep a black card. I travel a lot for work, and due to my hours, often end up working out late. This PF seems brand new, is large, clean, well equipped, and actually open 24/7. Working out at 9pm on a Saturday, there were a lot of people there, and plenty of room and equipment for all. I didn’t wait for very long for any machine.

The staff are amazing, the facilities are great everything about it as a gym is just top of the line by far one of the best PF in the state, however, they are not friendly to truck drivers, who across the country definitely supply them with a good amount of their memberships, as most planet fitnesses are friendly to over nighters, van lifers, semi trucks, and with such a large and expansive parking lot directly connected to Sam’s club it’s wild to see, tonight I watched a semi truck get stickered and pictures taken by staff while he was inside the facilities. They also don’t all follow the same rules, never been told by any gym including the 300+ planet fitnesses I’ve been too that I’m not allowed to wear crocks just to a week later see people coming in crocks the consistency is important, and so are giving the people who deliver all the supplies throughout America a safe place to park, shower and feel human

I went to the planet fitness and checked in. The guy behind the desk told me I had a problem. When I asked for his help with the problem, he made it abundantly clear that he wasn’t going to help me with MY problem! Just as I was thinking this might not be the place for me. This cheerful pleasant and helpful employee named Riley helped me fix my problem. It was quick and easy!! They should promote her.
Thankfully she was working tonight. Every planet fitness needs a Riley !

Been to a lot of gyms and I have to say the new PF at Legends is excellent. Spacious, clean, new equipment and multiple workout areas.
Note that the massage chairs are the most effective I've used and a perfect cool down to a great workout. Strongly recommend.
