If you can find another gym do it. Planet fitness has taken close to $200 of my money for going maybe 3-5 times. They keep saying they will pause or close the account and charging me some type of yearly fee even after the account was frozen for 2 months then I was told closed after I called the next time. Then they didnt want to refund any of it not even the last month i was charged just a few days ago. So i leave thinking i lost all that but ill get the last month for free on the east coast since i had to move. From there I find out its not closed cause I get charged 3 months later and have to do this whole thing again. They barely answer the phone and there is no customer service or customer number that will help.

It was my first time at a planet fitness location and I didn't know my way around the locker room and ended up opening a closet room and employee was in and she was extremely rude about it. She basically scolded me even after I apologized and explained it was an accident and was new. Very disappointed and not coming back to this location

So I have the high level membership at Planet Fitness and can visit any location. I stopped into this location and was grossed out by how dirty the men’s showers were and that they are not up to the standard of the other Planet Fitness locations. They only had shower curtains which were disgusting and not the standard glass doors as in all the other facilities. I will never be back to this location. If they can’t keep showers clean then there is no hope for the equipment and massage beds and chairs that get so much more use. This facility is truly is a bad image for the Planet Fitness brand. Anyway, I saw this and immediately left. I will visit another location from here on out.

So despite me sending the above information to Planet Fitness nothing has improved. I traveled in from Colorado and decided to give this location a try one year later after my first experience and review. No improvement. I asked staff upon leaving when the Men’s locker room was last logged as being cleaned. I was told they are cleaned daily I find it hard to believe that they were cleaned when all four showers, each with two dispensers for body wash, shampoo or conditioner or soap were all empty and some dispensers didn’t even have empty bottles in the dispensers. The showers still had dirty, soiled curtains that are not even big enough to cover the shower opening and the towels hooks between the showers were broken or missing. I asked the staff for the name and number of the store manager and will directly call them tomorrow, 9/12/2025.

Planet Fitness is clean, well maintained, and the staff are usually friendly. I really enjoy working out here. Some weight and cardio equipment could use a little fine tuning, and the parking lot has huge potholes and faded lines, but overall it’s a good gym.

It’s unbelievable that in the middle of summer the gym still hasn’t turned on the air conditioning. We pay for a service that should guarantee minimum conditions for training, and what we get is unbearable heat and zero consideration for the members. This is not just uncomfortable, it’s dangerous. If this problem isn’t fixed immediately, I will cancel my membership and make sure everyone knows how you treat your customers.

This location is very dirty. Theres been tiles missing from the floor fir over a year. I dont think the tanning rooms have been swept in just as long. I prefer the planet fitness at 21st and Amidon.

If I could leave negative stars I would. Plant fitness keeps their gyms extremely hot they don’t care about you trying to work out. I went to the gym on Sunday and it was 77 degrees and today it’s 79. This is a problem every summer it’s like they’re too cheap to turn on the a/c. And when u complain they say the temperature controlled by corporate. Don’t waste ur money signed up with them cause you’ll cancel just go to the YMCA or Genesis they care ab their members so it’s not hot and there’s way more equipment and weights. Also the young black guy that works at this location is super rude and unprofessional so there’s also that.

I am absolutely livid. Apparently somehow I owe almost 200 when I haven't once been to a PF. They refuse to bring my account to zero due to being incapacitated and haven't been able to use the black card at all. I was warned about PF refusing to cancel memberships or refunding people. I've heard stories of the fights it took people to get them to correct billing issues and closing the membership. I absolutely refuse to pay for something I've never used and I called this location and they diligently refused to cancel the membership or bring my account balance to zero. I will not be a customer after this crap. I am absolutely pissed. If they attempt to harass me for payment when again I didn't use the service I will sue the company for harassment and failure to cancel membership upon my request. DO NOT BE FOOLED AND USE PF AS I DI OR YOU WILL HAVE THE BIGGEST REGRET OF YOUR LIFE WITH A FITNESS CLUB!!!

One of the best workout atmospheres in Wichita. Feel very comfortable working out here, enjoy the black card spa with awesome massages and total body enhancement, tanning etc. Definitely recommend it...!!

This is by far the best looking gym that I have been and I have been to a lot of of them first things first even though this place has been here since 2016 in the inside. It looks like they just opened, I mean, there's not a single drop of water in the sink. None whatsoever the shower they're unbelievable The locker room is spotless. I spoke with the general manager and he has great customer service and he's doing a awesome job at this location.

This place I have been coming to on and off for 3 year I have a ton of friends who have been coming much longer lot of them have stoped due to in consitent people today Feb 28th at 3.20pk me and my girlfriend are here this same woman has given us a hard time and is also now telling her that she can’t bring me or the management even she has blond hair and also wears glasses I am advising all people to really think before going here or getting a membership at a place with suck low inconsistency I no they will be lossing a minimum of 25 or 30 members that are my friends and family we don’t allow horrible customer service I would not recommend this or other location to anyone

I have been a member here for years and I really enjoy it. Lots of equipment to choose from, and it is all easily accessible. They have trainers available if you don't want to go it alone. And a relaxation area for black card members that has a massage table. Their membership price is very reasonable also.

The gym is fine, but I dislike how I was automatically re-enrolled into another year when I said I wanted to do just one year. I was also hit with a $10 late fee when I had it set to auto pay and even paid the $10 following. I would definitely find another gym if I could find one that fit my hours.

I went to a planet fitness gym 🌎 the other week in Kansas and loved the feeling of inclusiveness they’ve cultivated. There was a gentle purple theme and no shortage of smith machines, which other gyms seem to lack. There was even a “Lunk Alarm” employees can pull in case there are any meat heads causing a ruckus in the gym.

This way they can shame them and kick them out for any of their obnoxious shenanigans like slamming weights, taking their shirts off or excessive grunting.

I felt safe and comfortable in my own skin, which allowed me to train in peace without the feeling of being judged.

Highly recommend giving it a try.

At 3am you got the whole gym 🏋️‍♀️ 💪 for yourself 😆. 8/18/24 After 5 yrs I canceled my membership because I was not allowed to have my baby in the lobby with his stroller attended!! Thanks anyway for the time I had my membership I'm a truck driver diabetic and this was the only place that fit my lifestyle so much for that!! It was very rare a took my kid with me my wife waited for me in the lobby so I could use one specific machine that's right next to the metal table in the lobby only when I had my kid. When I went by myself it was a different thing!! I should keep my 5 star review but it be unfair because the front desk person when I said just canceled my membership with a smirk on her face said OK ITS YOUR MEMBERSHIP didn't even try to resolve not even a one time exception and I wasn't even going to be on the main weight training floor the one machine I need it to use is right next to all the metal chairs!!

The service on the weekends aren't as good. You want to use your Black Card amenities, you will wait and wait. I tried calling the store. I mentioned I was about to figure out how to turn the tanning bed on, she just shrugged her shoulders like who cares. I do, I pay for these services and enjoy them after a workout. Didn't get a massage today, I didn't want to bother her.

The staff is always friendly and helpful! I love the trivia! And the Red Light Therapy, tanning and massage beds are awesome after a workout!

Will refuse to let you cancel and the desk associate gets really hyped up and defensive over any rebuttal. I have been a member at this location 7 years and barely stepped foot in it you have more than collected enough money from me! And to say I have late fees when you auto debit and cleared all those monthly payments is a joke! My membership came due the 17th I try to cancel today the 22nd and you want my full month dues?? Then have the audacity to get catty with a customer for thinking that is crazy. Okay planet fitness when I do pay and cancel I will never be back. I been coming to PF for years! And is great but this location is been without AC for a month with over 100 degrees weather! Is horrible! Every time I ask the manger about it she just says that they haven’t find a company to come and fix it.! they probably warring for somebody to pass out to finally fix it.! I might have to go to a different location even tho I have to drive to the other side of town.! still waiting for them to fix it and it seems like never is gonna happen.!

The place is immaculate! The graveyard crew is the best. Finnegan is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and one of the hardest workers as well. Since my last review, they've added Mariah, Madison and Alex who are as nice of people that you'll ever meet.unfortunately, since their employees are underpaid, they can't seem to hang on to these great people. They are very much worth keeping on their payroll, and deserve a substantial raise. These three great people are always friendly, positive, kind, and very hard workers.I wish there were more free weights, but if you're a cardio bunny, your in treadmill heaven. They recently updated their equipment, and I couldn't be happier with the new equipment they purchased.
They added new rowing machines, all new ellipticals, treadmills, and 2 new Smith Machines. They spared no expense! The membership offers so much for a minimal fee! I know PF catches a lot of flack for the lunk alarm, no jeans or string tank tops, or grunting loudly, which is hard to avoid if you're lifting heavy, but the Seneca crew has yet to ring that stupid alarm since Mariah, Maddy, and Alex started running the overnight shift. My favorite time to train is around 4AM. I like the solitude. Close to 6AM, the place starts filling up really fast. The good news is there are lots of cardio bunnies. The bad news, is the dad bods posing in the mirror.

As an out-of-state transfer, coming in for the third time this week, and all the sudden not being able to be found in the system was OK but when you have your employee “Sky” at the front desk screaming at you that she’s not able to assist you because you’re an out-of-state transfer and flipping you off and throwing pens at you while you’re walking out of the gym that’s absolutely absurd

This location is terrible and I will never set foot in there again. Thankfully my membership is at another location. I signed my son up to have his account frozen since it’s the summer and he is out of the state. I was still charged for his membership after I did this, and when I called to find out why, they told me it wasn’t frozen. When I asked why, I was told “it wasn’t processed correctly” on their end. So I asked for them to please freeze it properly then. I was then told I would have to come in and freeze it (after I already did this process online). The girl who answered the phone was incredibly rude. I was pretty shocked because that’s not something I would expect from them. Rude, condescending, and patronizing behavior. I asked to speak with the manager, Brett. I was then told he was “on break”. I waited over 30 minutes and again called them to speak to *Brett*, I was told again, “the managers are on break”. So I decided to just take myself up there in person to resolve this issue. So when I arrived 20 mins later to the *Seneca* location in Wichita, I was told “there are no managers here.” So at this point, the membership was straight up canceled by me. I will never enter that location again and I do not want my son to either! Number one, I was talked to like a child by a child herself, she refused to state her name, I told her she didn’t need to be rude because I was just trying to resolve my issue. That’s when I was told manager was “not available”. So I was lied to, then on top of it the rude behavior. At this point, I don’t want it frozen anymore. We are just gonna cancel it altogether! And that’s what I did!
So stay away from this location and the employees that work there. They lie and they are STRAIGHT UP rude! If you are wanting to employ someone who talks to customers like that, that’s y’all’s business and problem. Highly UNprofessional.

I would give it zero stars if I could.

I signed a 12 month contract. Life happened and payments stopped coming out. I have tried to cancel the account with Planet FItness, but they wont cancel until the account is current.

Thats right. They will continue to charge a card that was stolen, adding return fees, until I pay the balance. At that point I can (and will) cancel the account.

I am not denying I owe the money. I want to stop the charges from accruing, they said NOPE!! If i close the bank account, they will not cancel the account, charges will continue to accrue.

I just want to cancel the account, so i can make payments to clear the debt. Nope! They want it all to cancel the account. Instead, I will be adding it to my bankruptcy, and they will get nothing.

Great gym. Nothing for the kids really so I switched to the Y. Terrible fees to leave. I signed up for BlackCard membership on my phone for $15 a month. I am now paying $25.99 a month and cannot terminate my contract until I’ve paid for it for 12 months and a $58 termination fee. Be careful what you sign up for on your phone.

Clean gym, staff is nice for the most part. They do have a age limit but they usually let underage kids in even when they have rules for nobody under 13 and they take up machines and play on them. Last time I was their they were 2 kids maybe 9 and 10 on treadmills and almost got hurt and adults couldn't work out because they were all over playing.

Nice pf. The showers had good pressure and hot water. Changing area had a chair but no hook for backpack. Lots of open equipment and a great clock that showed the minute in dotted lights around the outside that was visible everywhere. Nice number controlled lockers and good spacing of equipment. Also had monkey bar section in 360 area which is an extra.
