The owner is such a friendly and down to earth guy, the gym is small but has everything you need to get a great lift, They have this unique Incline bench press machine which is spectacular. If you're unsure about joining, just sign up for a free trial and you won't be disappointed, highly recommend, A+ !

This snap is well taken care of and the owner is always there along with being very friendly. Plenty of trainers to choose from if your in need of one. Clean, well lite and bathroom/showers are clean and smell good. Overall a good place to workout without all the big box gym sell tactics and attitudes

Amazing place, but I got annoyed with how there is timing for the staff to be in and I tried to stop by to freeze my account due to work different schedual. I ended up after I showed up three times during the business hours that cast me 2 month fees to cancel my account.

I have been going to this gym for about 2 years, usually at least 4 times a week. The place is always clean, and the owner Jerry is friendly. All of the personal trainers I have met are people I would recommend. There is a good selection of free weights and machines, and I really enjoy the fact that it is open 24/7. There is more than enough parking, and it is nice to have individual bathrooms/showers.

This place is great and it has a friendly atmosphere. The owner, Jerry is very helpful and welcoming. I came in with a groupon deal and decided to stay after trying several other gyms. Other gyms may be larger but they are crowded and you can never seem to find good parking or get access to the equipment that you need. At snap it is a completely different experience.
I have my own equipment at home and access to a free gym at work yet I still prefer to go to snap because of the easy access, convenient locations and the Trainer support. I have been working out with a trainer for a couple of months now and have learned how to use the equipment properly. I also have a better understanding of which exercise routine will help me meet my goal of developing strength and toning up.

Yesterday 9/2/2017, about 9:30am I went in to redeem my Groupon for one month at this location. When I got there, whoever was supervising this location was right behind me with his fast food breakfast.
After letting me in I went to his desk to fill out paperwork. This gentlemen went straight for a sales pitch for a commitment longer than what I just paid for. Started trash talking on other fitness places almost immediately. I told him I was relocating to Shawnee and he tried to sell me a membership to there, and get my credit card number before I even got a tour.... He also wanted to charge me $10 for a key card for entry. That was not stated on my Groupon that more money would be needed when I got there. He was abrasive after lying to me saying it was and I proved him wrong with the Groupon. His only response was, that's what we always do. I tore up the paperwork and left. I don't care about the money I just wasted on this groupon. I won't go to a place where this guy supervises and is a total jerk.
The whole time he was talking to me his young child was misbehaving and blasting videos on his tablet. Not appropriate for an adult gym. This child was in the gym with no supervision while this man was getting his fast food breakfast....wth is going on at this place?

Bought a six month membership on Groupon just to try it out. I went there on operation times twice but the person inside would not let me in. I gave called them several times that week they wouldn't pick up the calls. I tried to get a refund. I couldn't contact them, so I had to go through Paypal. Thanks for Paypal, not sure about my second Groupon because I don't want to be treated in such a manner for paying for the Groupon. It feels like a scam because I paid for the Groupon, but Snapfitness does not want to honor it, so they get that money for nothing in value for exchange.

Clean, well-equipped gym that isn't crowded and has friendly knowledgeable staff. It's perfect for cardio and weights without all the distractions and added costs of larger centers and parking is a breeze. Jerry, the owner, is a wonderful trainer and a great guy to do business with. I highly recommend this location!

I liked this gym from day one. It's more private that all the big commercial gyms which feels more exclusive. There are 5 around town and you have access to any gym 24 hours a day. Only members have a key and have access. I've been able to work out at 9pm in a empty gym in Lees Summit a few times. People are nice and everything is very clean. They have all Cybex machines which is impressive! The Cybex full body cardio machine, which looks like an ellipse, is hands down the best machine to get cardio on. You can't find these in the large commercial gyms. I love that Snap Fitness invested in quality machines and weights. Jerry, the owner, is the best trainer I have ever worked with. The entire team of trainers on staff are educated and motivating. They want you to see results. I would recommend anyone who is trying to stay in shape or starting a new routine to try these gyms out. They don't disappoint.

We have been working out there for several years now and are extremely pleased. I consider it a neighborhood gym. Most people live or work nearby. Everyone is friendly but respectful. Plenty of aerobic equipment -- I have never had to wait. Machines are generally always available if you can be a little flexible. Free weights are hit and miss if you are there at peak hours.

Price is very reasonable for single and family. It's not $5 but you get what you pay for and I really don't want to stand in line for a piece of equipment. I have tried two of the big area gyms and left for just this reason.

Owners have been more active this year replacing pads and other wear items on the machines. I know they come in and clean on weekends.

Trainers are available and friendly but I have never been pressured. I have used the trainers off and on over the years either to correct something I am doing wrong, learn a new workout or just push me out of a rut.

They gym is open 24 hours and secured during off hours. I have been in there very late and very early. The membership is good throughout the Snap Fitness network which I have taken advantage of several times over the years while traveling.

Negatives: My personal gripe is a small number of patrons don't rack their weights and leave a mess behind them. It would be nice if wipe downs and general cleanliness with flu season upon us were to be reemphasized.

All in all, I'm very pleased and have no problem recommending this facility to friends and family and have done so several times.

Good equipment, generally clean but could use a good "Spring Cleaning"; been working out for over year, visit facilities throughout U.S. and this is as good as I have found. Only issue is lack of consideration by other patrons, particularly trainers--don't wipe down equipment as requested, especially trainers; change music regardless who or how many people are there, take over areas even though someone is working out there. With flu/cold season on us I would like to see promo on wiping down equipment to avoid spreading of germs.

At first was happy with gym- Jerry seemed nice enough. We had joined because of a groupon we had found & it was conveniently located by our house. I had found a different gym before the groupon was up that better suited me so my fiancé had texted Jerry asking him to cancel my membership after the groupon. Jerry agreed & that was that. Come to find out we are STILL getting charged for both accounts & he refuses to refund my fiancé because 'he had needed signatures'. We had screenshotted the text messages & he is still acting like he 'had no idea'. Would NEVER recommend this gym due to billing problems & machines being broken every time you go in.
