Facility is nice enough. The main man running the show is incredibly rude. I am from wichita and come up to this facility for tournaments and EVERY time I have had a negative interaction with him. Today,he closed down the bathroom to change paper towels. They just opened. My 2 year old was doing the pee pee dance and when I said we were about to have an accident he said we would still have to wait. This is just the most recent incident but it is to the poi t where I wait for him to be rude when we get here.

It was some hot days, and the Field House AC was top-notch!!
Two reasons I didn't give the faciltiy 5*.
1. It's a Pepsi facility. Sorry, but gross. That's all they sold.
2. We were there for the coaches clinic, and a LOT of coaches are older people in the state. Almost ALL of the seating was just hard aluminum bleachers. If they host in the future, old timers like a back rest when sitting for 50min at a time for multiple sessions.

Terrible facility for being so new. The ground it sits on was vacant since the 60’s or 70’s…they enough time to thoughtfully plan the design and failed. For one, you cannot bring in any chairs, yet the lobby offers no real seating. When you are using this facility for an all-day volleyball tournament where do expect people to sit, especially those who are older or have other ailments that do not allow them to stand for long periods of time. Very disappointing in the city of Salina for not thinking this facility through better. Second, staff was very rude. Literally a staff member on a stool as you walk in yelling at anyone who walked in with a chair. The same individual was yelling into the women’s restroom for 3-minutes telling everyone they were taking too long and to hurry up. Waste of dollars for this small town.

The Fieldhouse is a wonderful venue for the sports they host. The seating for spectators is not great for volleyball fans. Short, and compact aluminum bleachers and the visibility of the scoreboards is difficult to impossible to see.

Great addition to downtown Salina. The basketball courts are really nice and it's a spacious front area for people waiting to play there sport games. This was my first time inside and it as open and could hold up to at least 100+ in the main entrance area which also had some available seating. As you walk in you walk right into the front desk. It's really busy with competitive basketball this time of the year and it's was a really nice place. I would have liked to see better markings, hanging signs to guide people in and get them going in the right direction. But for the most part I was surprised.

Our grandson held his 9th Birthday at the field house. It was a wonderful experience the staff was super friendly and helpful. We reserved field #6 the boys played football and soccer and had a blast! We bright in cake and drinks which we serve in the concession area. I would definitely recommend this venue for a party or any type of indoor sports activities. Clean well appointed facility.
