Course is not bad, in nice shape for the price you pay. Its tough if you cant consistently hit the skinny fairways because the rough is 3 foot tall native grass which is beautiful but will make you loose A ton of balls! And kinda ruins the fun when you have to drop all the time. But I guess thats what I get for being bad at golf 😆 the grounds keeper guy is a bit rude. He blows by us on his cart missing us by a less than 2 feet several times at full speed. We Tried twice to put our hand up to ask him something and he just kept going and ignored us. I get that hes very busy but his attitude is not great. When we finally found him where he was stopped we gave him a wedge someone left on the green and he just rips it out of my buddy's hands and sped off without saying a word. Just acts like hes mad at everyone. The guy in the shop is super cool though.

Me and two others played 9 holes today and all of the tee markers are laid in a bumpy dirt patch or on a mud puddle. To make matters worse, the old greenskeeper turned on the sprinklers when we were on the fourth or fifth hole in the middle of the afternoon and it persisted for the rest of the tee markers we had to play on. And to top it all off, when we decided to play a little outside of the tee markers because of the sprinklers, we are yelled from afar by the old greenskeeper for doing so. I do understand golf etiquette and to not hit outside of the tee markers, but we paid money to play on this course so it would’ve been nice to get a more respectable response from the greenskeeper. The fact that the sprinklers are on despite the rain the last couple of days is bewildering.

This is a great course, but the guy who tries to rush people through is a little concerning. I came and payed to play my 18 holes of golf and he was telling us that we were holding yp the people behind us. We are a three man group and the group behind us is 8 persons. We were going to try and let them play past us, but then he told us that we need to just play because there are people backed up in the parking lot. Sounds to me like they have a management problem and need to be more organized on letting people in one after another. Seems like this place is just out for people’s money instead of pleasure. Will not be returning and will not be getting a membership. I was debating it before I went golfing. This whole experience has ruined it for me. We even went around to play the last 9 and there were no people on the first hole for us to wait to play. Feel very rushed.

Great fairways and greens! Might dew sweep the greens for the early morning group and roll the greens a couple more times in the week and they would be pure and even competitive with Stagg Hills greens. Love the attitude from the super independent of grounds there, guy is ALWAYS in a good mood and is SO personable. Said hi to him on hole one teebox and asked how the course was and he threw his hand at me and scoffed, yeah, I wouldn’t want to work the 4th of July either. Not even 20 seconds after we approached our second shot on #1 he was YELLING at us from 250 yards away to pick up our balls and move on! I absolutely loved his attention to our pace of play only 5 minutes in. Someone get this guy a raise!!!!

I am giving a review on the mini golf course. We went to play today and on several holes the carpet is poor and needs replaced. There as even 1 hole that didn’t have carpet by the hole, a very large area. It would also be nice if they put numbers on the holes. This could be a wonder place but truly needs some TLC. We did enjoy our game though due to getting to spend time with our family.

Played 9 holes and had a great time. It’s a significantly better course than I expected. Interesting holes, lost plenty of balls, greens and in fantastic shape and are challenging. Tee boxes are not what you might hope for, but for the price, there has to be something that’s not as good as your club. And we were always able to find a perfect spot to tee up on. They use rough well, and the grass used in the rough presents a real challenge. It’s well thought out and we used the “golf shot” app to make sure we had exact yardages from every tee shot. There is a warm up putting green and a driving range (with a school bus on it 😂). I would play this course a great deal based on the value.

I don't understand why there are so many critical reviews - I've had a wonderful experience at this facility & with the helpful staff. You get what you pay for, and there is tremendous value here for only $45 a month for the entire family. We don't use the workout area - it's very small and there isn't enough equipment. But I love that my teens can come here and use the outdoor recreation with their friends. We pop in as a family on the weekends and Its great that it's so close to our home.

I am new to the golf game but am very apprehensive about attending this facility based on things I’ve seen/ heard about the staff and management. I try to take what I hear with a grain of salt because everyone can always find something to complain about. However lately I have heard multiple accounts of discrimination and rude behavior toward new players, ranging from staff, management, board members and owner. I can only hope these things aren’t true but can’t believe the many things I am hearing are all untrue. I am only hoping this review makes management take a deeper look and offer further customer service training so new players such as myself don’t feel scared to attend a locally owned business. Even if YOU believe you have the most amazing staff there is ALWAYS room for improvement and no harm in advancing with new skills/training.

Not bad, playing a Par 3.5 course is a bit of a drag. The course isnt awful, with sand traps, water, and a couple nice dog legs on a few of the par 4s. They recently upgraded their main fitness center, you can also do foot golf, batting cages, and they have a driving range. Im not a fan of their mini golf course, lots of times the bricks lining the holes are on the putting surface, or the carpet is pulled back or deteriorating. But its the only one in Manhattan for some odd reason so itll have to do.

I never write reviews so that says something. We went in and asked for 9 holes and a cart but none were available. They said we could wait until the next cart is available. We wait about 20 minutes and then a cart comes back and they give it to people who just walked in, while we were standing there looking at them! We asked why they did that because they told us to wait, and the lady replied "I never told you to do anything". Are you kidding me? Why wouldn't you just say to the customers who came in after us "sorry these people were waiting for the next available cart first"? So unbelievably rude and singe handedly made me never want to return to this course, which is such a shame because I live right down the road.

Edit: the owner reached out to us and was super nice. Was very apologetic and we were very happy after because we have always loved coming here. Other than the one bad experience we have always had a great time and it's a nice affordable course!

For the worst golf course I’ve ever played, it wasn’t the cheapest golf course I’ve ever played. The manager stalked our group around and yelled at us multiple times for “moving off the cart path” including inappropriate language. It was absolutely ridiculous behavior. It’s cute they respond to 1 start reviews with “please let us know how we can improve,“ but the managers seem to be the rudest and causing the problems. Not to worry, they will not be receiving my business again.

It's a great place and the owners are really nice! The gym has keyless entry and everything is mobile friendly and techy! The treadmills each have individual TV's with remotes for dish. There is one shower available, clean and roomy enough to get dressed in. Summer time there are batting cages and miniature golf for the fam! A friend told me about this place a few years back and I'm glad I finally checked it out! 🙌😎

The reason I only gave this place a three star rating is because I have not really been inside the main building or area yet, I have visited the Wildcat fishing pond and soccer/baseball fields plus the playground area in Anningberg park of Manhattan, Ks close by the Wildcat Creek that got flooded in 2018 if I remember correctly.
I love the way it's designed and I've seen people catch some really big fish in the pond and creek areas. I was exploring the walking trails that go around the park area and just happened to see the batting cages and a mini golf course at the last minute before I left for the day. I've at least read and heard from others how fun they are and I look forward to visiting this place soon for myself! 😃

Have you ever seen the opening credits to Caddyshack? They start the sprinklers in the opening credits of the dawn. We wanted to buy a membership until they flooded the greens and couldn't buy a boat to get across the green. At least be nice at the counter and considerate. This location is pretty bad compared to the 24/7 spot across town. The machines are very gimmicky and offer a small range of versatility for workouts. No bench, only one core machine, about 50 elliptical machines and awful lighting so you have to use your flashlight to see what weight you're setting the machines to. Not to mention that the entire floor rattles violently at random. Not worth the fee if the other location isn't an option for you

The course is very forgiving and hitting the ball to the green is not hard at all. I believe there was only one par 4 on the entire 9 hole course. I put one star just because they had a foothold course. The batting cages and mini golf are very fun, but the footgolf is way too expensive and was very confusing on where to go because the 16 and 6 holes were right next to each other and hole number 14 had a bunch of holes and was covered with dirt. Went to take my children mini golfing for my birthday. Noticed right away that the 18 hole mini golf course was in complete disrepair. All the starting pads at the beginning of each hole were completely unglued from the ground, making it hard to putt. I quit playing after the 7th hole. The greens were all tattered and had holes and large gaps between the joints. All the holes we played had tons of debris on green.

The employee who assisted us with purchasing a game walked out and I asked her if anyone maintained these courses. She advised me that they use a leaf blower to clean off the course. I told her that this course was in complete disrepair and dilapidated. Her response was that "this is the only mini golf course in town". I guess that is a good excuse to be the worst mini golf course in the history of mini golf courses. My family and I will not be returning.

Having baseball showcases in this town is a waste! They have one batting cage in town. This place. It pitches only up to 60mph and it pitches baseball's softball style (on upward slope). $3 dollars a round is highway robbery! Half the balls pitched at a 5' 11" ball player was at his chin or better! Showcases shouldn't be played here Manhattan Ks.

I called in august to have my membership cancelled. They said that was fine and their would be no extra charges associated with cancelling. They continued to charge me until October. I called to speak with the manager about the charges and she was very rude and treated me very poorly. There are much nicer places to work out and golf where you don't have to deal with the poor management.

It's a small boutique fitness kind of club. They have lots of machines that will work out every muscle in your body. Yes only the one shower, but it is vacant everytime I'm there. The trial membership they gave me is why I'm joining. Not a lot of gyms here in town do free trials. The kids who work there are nice. They open the door for you and all that. Also nothing beats walking out of the gym and seeing the nice Anneberg woods as a backdrop.
