Really enjoyed my 1-on-1 private lessons with Karen. I wanted to experience Pilates using equipment such as the Reformer and it did not disappoint.
The studio and equipment are clean and very well maintained. Karen did a wonderful job at getting me to use my 'powerhouse' to move the Reformer instead of my natural tendency to use my legs. The lessons were very informational, but definitely received a workout but flew by quickly. Karen did fantastic at explaining what I should be feeling and/or giving a great analogy for me to comprehend the exercise and perform correctly and she was extremely welcoming and encouraging.

I highly recommend Wilder Pilates. As a 6'3", 245-pound former football player with a dozen surgeries (including two on my back), finding someone who understands the importance of proper core strength and movement is crucial.
Karen Wilder knows her craft. Karen's deep knowledge of Pilates and meticulous attention to form make all the difference. She listens closely to your needs, adapting exercises to ensure safe, effective workouts that engage and strengthen the core. Her studio is well-equipped, and Karen creates an encouraging, supportive environment perfect for anyone, especially those needing a highly personalized approach.

Karen is a talented, bright and experienced Classic Pilates teacher and instructor. She provides a beautiful and clean and open sunny space with all the equipment required for any level. I have been going to Wilder Pilates about 18 months and I love it. Karen is an amazing instructor! I was very nervous about starting pilates but Karen is so patient and kind. I never feel judged if I make a mistake or if I cannot do something. Karen gently works with me to make sure I am getting the most out of each lesson. The classes are small and I feel I get so much individual help but still have the fun of a group class. Highly recommend!

I enjoy learning and working to get better, at Pilates. It’s challenging, but rewarding. Karen has built a wonderful Pilates practice. She and her instructors are a joy to work with. Their knowledge of Pilates and the interest in their client's physical condition make the sessions challenging but always safe. We have been students for over 3 years. It may sound weird, but we look forward to our three sessions every week. Zoom sessions are a great option when we are traveling.

If you are looking for a GREAT workout, then Wilder Pilates is the place for you! Not only will you get that GREAT workout, but you will have: FABULOUS teachers (Karen and Julie) in a clean and beautiful studio, great equipment, small class size with personal attention, congenial classmates… everything you are looking for in a workout place. Never tried Pilates??!! Don’t be nervous! It’s the perfect workout for any age or anyone! Great for flexibility, stamina, posture, muscle tone.. and even some cardio. I have only been doing Pilates for a year and a half and I am addicted! I can really feel the difference it has made for me! I won’t ever quit! And, Karen and Julie are very patient and FUN! (But… they work you hard, too… which is what you want… because you want to see the results of your hard work! Wilder Pilates gets TEN ⭐️ Stars from me!!!

Karen was great! I loved working having her as my instructor. It was my first time ever doing Pilates. She explained the different equipment she had and explain what the exercises were, and how to do them very well. It was great to work with just her, rather than start off in a class and not know what you're doing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to start or is already doing Pilates.
