This is a great club. All the equipment you need, good space, and it’s clean each time I’ve been here. Great for leg day, the leg press is great, the leg curl and leg extension machines are great too. Definitely enjoy going to this location.

Not sure why so many leave a review about the cost and not being able afford the monthly cost.... I pay monthly dues to 3 different clubs, its cheaper than a $8 latte from Starbucks every day, if you cant afford the service don't sign up, Im sure theres a process for canceling (FYI always use a credit card for dues that way you can dispute or cancel the card, they're not going to put it on your credit report) The club is great, it's clean, safe, other members are respectful. Yeah the previous Mgr moved some equipment into awkward places, they said they would take care of it. No worries. If you're looking for gym that's well above the standards for Franklin, KY this is for you!

NEVER get a membership at this place. Im telling you this to save you from what I have been experiencing. I have been with this place since 2023 and while I’ve had good workouts here, trying to cancel is an absolute nightmare. I financially can’t afford the $40+ that they take out of my account every two weeks and it has been nothing short of awful trying to cancel my membership. I was told I had to have a medical letter to cancel my membership even though I moved states and no longer go to this gym. After the medical letter was taken in person and given to the manager, they are still charging my bank account. $60+ has been taken out of my account within the last two days. Save yourself the headache and just stay away. Mind you there’s been 3-4 different managers in the last year or so, oh and the phone number that is linked to this place on Google doesn’t work so good luck getting ahold of someone.

moved the weights around. using the barbell is a hassle and using the second squat rack is damn near impossible if someone is using the other one. so close the barbells are legit 5 inches away from each other and you have to duck under the bar to put weight on

If you haven't hit the gym lately, now's the perfect time! The gym had a rough patch for a bit, but Lee is turning things around quickly, and it's been a game changer for me. Training with Lee has made me feel so accomplished. He truly understands my goals and knows exactly what I need. I've watched him train others, and it's clear he doesn't use a one-size-fits-all approach.

Just a disclaimer for anyone thinking about joining this gym, go to Planet Fitness. PF cares about the ppl that walk through the door, they are friendly and helpful. Definitely cannot say the same for this business. Just try to contact this location, dial the #, you get a man’s voice that just says “Hello?” That in itself is enough to show they’re not credible, but I’ll share my horrible experience anyway. Once they get your cc number they’re going to go up on the price and not let you out of a so called “contract”. They will promise you how easy it is to cancel, no problem, they said. This is franchise owned and they don't hold up their end of the “contract.” My husband and I joined while he was working out of town on a job with the assurance that I could cancel at anytime if his job moved jobs or we weren’t able to get to an Anytime Fitness within 30 miles of our home. We couldn’t get a membership together, they had to be separate, so he got his and he got mine. They let him cancel, no questions asked..so why is it we have the exact same circumstances yet, I can’t cancel mine? They continue charging his card for a service that we haven’t used in months. Now they are asking me to jump through flaming hoops to cancel! I run a franchise owned business and I know how much we depend on reviews. I also know how much ppl check out reviews, so just go to Planet Fitness.

The manager Rikki is a greedy you know what cause her memership sucks, she wouldn’t let me cancel after I explained to her I lost my job and am basically homeless cause of family circumstances, cause I have to take care of my older family out of state so now I’m gonna have a grand in collections If you read on their website the corporate website it says you have to give a 30 days notice to cancel but because she can get no members because there’s a better gym in town. She wouldn’t let me go take care of my dying, elderly grandmother so thx Rikki ur truly trash and think before you ever ever sign up for their subpar gym
Oh and ps if what she told me true the second u sign up it 900 dollar a year commitment just so all know and it undebatable so do what u will w that.

And this how bad it is they don’t have free weights a smith machine isn’t a free weight it a machine it in the name of all u wanna build up to is curling a 60 lbs fixed barbell go here if not GO TO FUEL FORTRES and my grandma that had lupus arthritis and fibromyalgia had the same problem out of her b4 she died so agin thxxx anytime fitness the worst company I’ve ever done business with id rather pay a debt collector than these clowns

Very clean, ample amount of equipment and a great staff. My wife and I was passing through and went to work out and realized we left our fob at home in Alabama the manager was super nice and was able to get us a new fob! Thanks a bunch look forward to next time to work out in Franklin. 👍

Horrible customer service constant harassment from the Penningtons the club owners. I have been having financial difficulties and they have shown NO mercy. Save your money and go elsewhere they arent the only gym in town. Horrible experience 😡

After a rather distasteful experience with the previous personal trainer, Tiffany went out of her way to introduce herself to me and make me feel re-welcomed. Sandy continues to keep the gym in neat, clean, and orderly fashion and exude top level professionalism in her work. Happy that I can return to this gym. Thank you ladies!

This place is a joke!!! They whip these young kids into signing contracts and not allow them to get out Unless they pay the full two year to cancel. I would not recommend anyone wanting to go to the gym first time to visit this place and definitely do not sign any contract they try to give you!! We have tried numerous times to contact the owner but the manager says there is no way not very helpful at all!!

Anytime Fitness is an awesome place! The facility is very nice, very inviting and, very well kept. They have opportunities for everyone, regardless of what shape you're in. Worst gym I’ve delt with. They extended my contract to pay more because of covid when they did dont suspend my payments for the entire time they extended it by. Management is constantly changing, also the air is broke almost all the time can’t wait till the contact is up please don’t go here it is a waste of time and money

Without being too nit picky, it is a good gym with great equipment and a personal trainer there to help you target what you want done. As well as the evolt machine that tells you your body fat percentage once a month. Yes the contract aspect is there (like any other gym) but the staff seems to know everyone on a 1st name basis. I like it there👍🏾

Sales associate will say anything to get you to sign a contract. Buyer beware, once you've signed up they will charge your card for more than the membership cost. It also seems that you have to become severely disabled in order to void your contract. Corporate is impossible to get into contact with and the company will continue charging you, even if you've lost your job.

Awful experience. Wish I'd bought my own gym equipment, instead of wasting money at Anytime Fitness.

It seems like every Anytime Fitness has terrible WiFi and it lost a star for that.
They were very good at positioning the machines to social distance and have added additional sanitation stations.

Joined this gym temporarily as i was working in the area. Staff was EXTREMELY nice and welcoming. For the monthly rate you pay i thought the equipment was mediocre. Had several technological issues with the televisions not working for several days at a time on machines. Also the private gym area with a screen offered to do classes on your own was really neat but didn't work all the time because of wifi issues. Lastly they substituted every day "cheaper" house cleaning wipes in place of the regular equipment wipes and left signs up of how many people were allowed to use to limit cost... i think that probably bothered me the most. I knew my stay was temporary so i didn't publicly complain about any of those things but would want to know if i was looking for a permanent gym. I pay $15 less a month at my gym in BG and feel i am offered substantially more.

Horrible management from the owner down to staff. The endorsements that are published for example the 7 day free trial with no obligations. Are not followed by this gym. They pick and choose who they give certain endorsements and deals with. This is in no way good business, and after asking for the “Terms and Conditions” of the establishment they are left speechless. I understand each owner has different rules set in place, but let these rules be made public so customers can read what you are and aren’t supposed to do. Very sketchy business here. Also, after looking at the other reviews I saw 5 star ratings from many staff members. Such as Zachari Pennington which is the owner. Therefore, many of these positive reviews are set just to bring good reviews to this gym but in all actuality this is a horribly managed business. The gym itself however is nice and clean but the prices for it are way too expensive. You’d be better off giving your business to Harvey’s gym much bigger and nicer plus it’s cheap with good management in place. Hope this review helps others.

I started going to this gym and was kinda shy. And thanks to the friendly staff and cool members I opened up and love to exersice now. The classes offered are EXCEPTIONAL! especially yoga and boot camp class! And what do they have in common?? They are led by the same girl. Haley C. She does awesome facilitating the classes. Is fair to all and makes you work harder than you ever thought you could. The gym is always clean. (Including the bathrooms) such a great place to start your fitness journey. Come to class!!

My husband and I have been going to this gym from the day it opened. We really enjoy going, the management and personal trainers are really friendly. Horrible management, extremely deceitful and non communicative. Tried and tried to cancel our membership in May of 2016 here it is October and our account has been written off and sent to collections, for non payment of over $300, never received any notifications from the local branch in Franklin, KY never once tried to reach out or return phone calls or emails! I had to call the corporate office, whom which was also unsuccessful in reaching them to resolve this matter! I highly suggest to NEVER waste your money or time with this Anytime Fitness in Franklin, Ky! They are crooked to the core, they will say anything to get you to join, and never communicate with you again!!! This facility needs new management ASAP!
