Don't expect you can easily communicate with anyone in management. Also I had to bide my time to finish my 12 month commitment. The experience was nothing but issues, albeit at the most premium price.

This gym location in Middletown KY is never staffed. So if you need anything that requires staff, just forget about it. My key stopped working a few months back and it took me over a month to get a replacement. I had to start calling other AF locations to try to get someone to replace my key because no one was at the Middletown location during staff hours, nor would they answer my calls. Now here I am trying to cancel my membership and yet again, impossible to get ahold of someone. I’ve been calling for a week during staffed hours and have yet to get ahold of someone. I’ll give them another week before I contacted the BBB.

If there was a rating worse than 1 I would use it. I have called several times, visited, and even spoke to the owner about a membership I cancelled and they still charged me several times after cancelation. Month after month and day after day I have to call and get the run around (or no answer at all) on getting resolution. It’s at the point where I will be calling an attorney as this is unacceptable and a terrible business practice. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

I canceled my membership in person, in January of this year but got charged again this month. Called the office and the guy who answered said he'd have to text the owners because there's nothing he can do about it.

Still no resolution or contact from the owner. Attorney General's Office is involved.

The equipment is okay and the hours are obviously convenient, but this place is not run well in the slightest. Multiple times I have called and visited to get an overcharge fixed on my account and similar to others reviews, there is nothing they can do. I would love to cancel my membership, but I feel it would be almost impossible at this point! This goes without mentioning that my fab only works at this location when I was told it would work anywhere :-) In all honesty, avoid this gratified apartment complex gym. I will change this review if my situation is fixed, but I don’t foresee that happening anytime soon.

Went to this gym for several years. Always really liked it until i tried to cancel. Canceled 3 months ago and am still getting charged. The guy there at 5 says there's nothing he can do and that I need to call the owner who's there in the morning. So far I have been calling for 3 weeks. I have been told i would receive calls back and an email, i haven't received either. I have always recommended this gym to people but that will never happen again unless this is resolved

I tried to cancel after my first trip. I didn't care for the gym, it wasn't very clean and I very quickly realized it was too small/cramped. I just didn't care for it and had another gym, I wanted to attend for other personal reasons.
I called and pretended to be a new customer and asked what the policy was for canceling if I signed up, Robert said he does a week trial.
However when I called back 15 min later to cancel as I was within my 7 day trial, Robert then said that they didn't offer a 1 week trial, and that if I wanted to cancel I would have to pay the full amount of the remaining 12 months of the contract if I wanted to cancel.
My advice to anyone is to make sure you get anything they say in writing and review the contract.
The bottom line dollar is more important than customer service or doing the right thing at this location.

Absolutely love this gym! It's clean, everyone is nice with regard to the employees, Robert and Eric, and the members, and there is a good variety of equipment. Eric happens to be my trainer and he is great at what he does! He's focused, but engaging and has a great sense of humor. There's a perfect balance between working out and having a great time doing it. Overall this is a great facility!

I feel like this is my own private gym! Love the staff too. Everyone is friendly and knows you by name. I've been to several gyms over the years and this by far is the best fit for me. It's never over crowded either.

I chose to visit this location because it was a short drive from my hotel. It was the first time I used my membership outside my home town. I was thrilled when my key fob worked -- on a Sunday. I didn't have to wait for office hours. It's a very nice facility -- all new equipment, good variety of equipment, safe location, lots of room, clean, and wipes to keep the equipment clean. They had an emergency button on a neck string I could wear -- just in case -- as I was there by myself at times. I like Anytime because it really is any time -- for any one.
