Anytime I come home to visit family, I go on the hunt for a 24/7 gym. I was hesitant with this one as I had never been there, known anyone that uses the facility, or seen so much competition focused equipment BUT WOW was I pleasantly surprised. Getting access to the facility was seamless, honestly it was so easy I thought I was being punked! When I walked in, I was immediately greeted with smiles and hellos from other fitness enthusiasts just genuinely wishing to acknowledge me. I got to meet the owner, during my first workout because he was actively training others. A total practice what you preach kind of guy and one of the kindest gym owners I’ve ever met! If you are looking to leave the cliche gym world and find a community that truly invests in their health and wellbeing, this is the gym for you! If I still lived in KY, I would have signed up that first day! It might be small, but it’s mighty and has everything I need (and more)! Thank you so much for the incredible experience, and free Tshirts!

An immaculate gym with a great overall performance program. Equipped with a large variety of functional and strength performance machines, free weights and strongman equipment.
24/7 access is phenomenal and very smooth it also has plenty of accessory work devises and bands for mobility and small/large extremities.

I was in town for a week for work and needed a gym with a drop-in rate. I stumbled upon Be Strong Ky, and wow, what a pleasant surprise! I loved the few days I spent working out here. I typically exercise early in the morning, so I was thrilled to see they offer 24/7 access. The gym has that old-school, garage-gym vibe that I absolutely love. They’ve got everything you need for a great workout. The only suggestion I have is adding a prowler sled—other than that, it’s perfect!

This gym is incredible. Serious equipment for serious lifters. There is equipment here you will find at very few other gyms. In addition, the environment is exceptionally encouraging and if you have questions, you will have no trouble finding the answer here. The staff here is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, with Ben being one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met when it comes to the human body. The value of Be Strong absolutely cannot be overstated.

I have been apart of BE STRONG KY for almost 2 years as a strongman competitor and training at this gym is the best decision I’ve made for my health. The community is so supportive, welcoming, and just all around kind. You won’t find a single person holding a bad mindset in this gym and that’s what you need to be the best version of yourself no matter if you are a strongman, powerlifter, or just there for everyday fitness. You will find many different types of people and wealth of knowledge in this gym and that’s what makes it unique in its own way. You will BE STRONG in every aspect of life after being apart of this atmosphere.

Newer member here. I am beyond excited to finally be here. Ben Eisenmenger has created the most Motivated, Friendly,Dedicated and Knowledgeable environment I’ve seen in any facility. Every single member is welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is no such thing as a bad workout here. Simply being a member is enough to push yourself harder than you ever have, and enjoy every minute! 10/5 stars!!!

This gym is a total gem! I've lived in multiple cities and traveled extensively and to have a gym with access and equipment like this is rare. As a hybrid athlete who likes to use her own programming, having a place that has the open gym access and equipment to train for Crossfit, Spartan/Deka Fit, and Hyrox is awesome. It also has everything you'd need for powerlifting, strongman, and general fitness/lifting. The members and owner are incredibly welcoming and supportive which makes it a very positive environment to train in.

By far the best gym around - definitely worth the 20-minute drive across the bridge to train here. Great selection of equipment, amazing community of friendly and knowledgeable gym goers and staff (especially helpful for anyone looking to compete in strongman) and lots of great options for personalized training programs. I joined the gym six months ago and have already made more progress on all my lifts than I did in 3+ years before coming to Be Strong. If you’re on the fence about joining, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Without a doubt the best PT around. Not only are you met where you're at, you're accepted and guided with respect and encouragement. This is not your typical around the corner gym chain, this is a fantastic one on one journey that you are going to see results with. Not looking for PT? It's an open gym as well with a wide range of equipment and an amazing group of people.
Do yourself a favor: take the very first step and check it out. You will not be sorry :)

Excellent gym! I have been looking for a gym more suited for powerlifting/powerbuilding, having a hard time doing so in this area. Most other options didn't have the equipment that I'd wanted to train with, or hours that suited my schedule. Be Strong is 24 hours, is owned by an actual Strongman competitor, and has all the pro level equipment you could ever want.
The owner was incredibly kind and helpful getting my membership set up and all the people I have met have also been incredibly nice.
In short, great environment, great people. Couldn't recommend it enough.

I found Ben and Be Strong Gym during my search for a new trainer after my trainer at the time moved away. I conducted a lengthy and thorough search for a trainer with somewhat unique credentials: I wanted a trainer who understands and can program workouts focused around functional movement and mobility. After I conducted my internet search, I narrowed down to 4 different trainers and met with all 4 of them. Although they all seemed good, Ben stood out from the crowd. I am a former DI athlete who has had many trainers and has experienced many types of workouts over the years and there is no question that Ben is the best trainer I've ever worked with. His expertise in the human body, how the body works, and how the body moves is second to none; his thirst for knowledge and continuous learning is apparent in every conversation we have; and his ability to listen and to personalize every workout around my specific goals and around my injuries/pains is impressive and appreciated. Don't mistake Ben and Be Strong for a "Strongman only" trainer and gym; his knowledge of the body, his high-caliber programming, and his commitment to proper technique & form makes him a fit for any person of any age, any condition/shape, and with any injury or restrictions...as long as you're 100% committed to showing up ready to work. Ben kicks my butt every workout and I feel great when I leave. I am so grateful to have found Ben and Be Strong Gym...I am a client for life!

I joined here to “swing kettlebells.” What I have learned about weight lifting and mobility has been much more than I could have ever expected. Ben is the smartest programmer that I have ever met. He matches the weight and exercise to your current physical state and adapts as your strength, mobility, balance, and agility improve. It is not a cookie cutter system meant to be one size fits all. It is a personalized experience and the results are quick and sustainable. I can’t recommend this enough for ex-athletes. I’m 40 and feel like I did during college football offseason. In some lifts I’m actually getting more reps at certain weights than my 21 year old self.

I have known Ben for about 5 years now and find it inspiring that he is constantly improving himself and strives to continually get better. Thanks to his excellent coaching cues and years of experience in strength sports, he has helped me work through a couple injuries and go on to win/place top 3 in a few strongman competitions. Not only strength competitions, but also helped me go on and get my own kettlebell certification. So if you want to become a better version of yourself and don’t want to waste anytime on that mission, I would recommend getting yourself into BESTRONGKY ASAP.

I've been in the personal training business for nearly a decade now and still like to hire my own coach from time to time; just to get a second set of eyes on my lifts. Ben has not only been a second set of eyes. He's become a pillar in my strength training and has been instrumental to my success after a shoulder injury.
We met at a StrongFirst certification in Chicago. I was first impressed by the strength of the shirt he was wearing as it didn't break apart when he moved his arms. I thought to myself "One day I want my legs to be that big." But don't let his rugged beard, charm, and leg-sized arms get in the way of his brilliance. His thoughtfulness and attention to detail are second to none. His training programs are well planned out and specifically designed to force adaptation even though we train remotely.
Trust me when I tell you that Ben has little tolerance for weak spots. After my shoulder injury, my left arm was miles behind my right in regards to strength, mobility, and stability. All three were greatly diminished. Overhead pressing and handstands are some of my favorite things. I couldn't really do much of either. So, I was nervous at first about his exercise prescription and what my shoulder could tolerate. I trusted that Ben had my best interests in mind and trusted his process. After the first few sessions it would get more sore than the right but it never felt like it was in danger. After about a month I was begining to forget that I needed to be as careful with it. After the first few months it began to catch up to the right and, in some ways, is becoming stronger. After 6 months the pain was just a bad dream and the instability is hardly a memory. I can press heavier than before and am back to walking around on my hands. Some would say that "it was like nothing ever happend." But that isn't true. Coach Ben Eisenmenger happened.
The man is truly a gem. I'm proud to call him coach and I feel like 5 stars are simply not enough.

I have been working with Ben for over 4 years and I can't say enough about this guy. I have trained with him as a beginner, through pregnancy, postpartum, and now, down 25 lbs from my starting weight and in the best physical shape I have been in my life. This guy is the truth! He brings a level of fun, knowledge, and variety to any workout.
