Played it for 1st time in 20 yrs. In decent shape for this time of year. Greens ok, though a little slow. Tees were a little ragged. Course layout is good. Quite a bit of variety in terms of individual holes. From white tees, the par 3's were challenging, with at least two +200 yds. Staff very friendly. Pace of play was ok.

60$ for 18 holes, stopped multiple times because of taking too long which takes even more time away from play. We are on track for a 5 hour play, they expect 4. There was a team of 2 in front and behind us, we're a team of 4. Course layout is poor, cars and houses right off fairway, barely big enough to qualify as a course. Ground is barely taken care of, most is patchy, the only redeeming quality is a decent green. And there's trash off course. For 60$ I'd at least expect this ground to look immaculate

Honestly, have not had a bad experience playing here, not even once. Ended up calling today last minute, didnβt seem like I was a bother. We were able to play nine holes, didnβt have people packed behind usβ¦rushing us. Always a good time with friendly staff.

Showed up to play with the guys and much like every Boone county course ( thinking they're Valhalla) the rates are now $60.00. Ok get past that, I forgot my cool pack for my medicine, so I asked for a scoop of ice. "We can give you ice." It's for medicine, I explained, "I can't give you ice." That's why we don't play here. Rude Links should be the name.

The staff is always accommodating when it comes to fitting in a single golfer. That is extremely important as I usually go out on the course by myself. The course itself is in pretty good shape for this time of year. I always enjoy playing Boone Links.

75 degree weather, parking lot full, and we get to the turn at 3:30 and the grill isnt even on and the worker says shes getting ready to leave.
This place has employees driving around staring or even chirping at you while you are addressing your ball about pace of play while people are standing on your fairway, but cant have hot dogs at the turn.
They act like theyre a tour course in all ways except the ones that matter to a customer. If anywhere else is open, go there and have an enjoyable time.

Staff was incredibly rude and over bearing they judged our group from the second we walked in the door. They checked our cooler 3 times while we were golfing and rushed us through the course multiple times. Beautiful golf course but the staff definitely ruin the experience. Now that Iβm looking at the previous reviews it looks like itβs a pretty common thing for the staff to be rude.

Nice mini golf! Pretty easy to find and was super affordable. We had a great time. If you guys want to add anything, I would recommend adding a post to lay the scorecard. I remember a lot of the mini golf places had them when I was a kid. I had to add all the scores in mid-air.

I waited a while before writing this. I had a decent experience until the last time when my group was forced to play their Ridgeview back 9 because of pace of play... they said my group was going to slow and they were expecting an outing later. So my question is why schedule my group if you already had a 100 person outing? We didn't get to play 18, but we were charged for 18 and we were not refunded. They tried to give us rainchecks, and I assure you those rainchecks will never be used because we will never be back. I will make sure I tell everyone how poor of an experience I had and how the marshals were basically harassing us from hole to hole making what should of been a fun Saturday, to a terrible day and a huge waste of money. You could of had a better experience playing Meadowood than this dump

Incredibly rude staff, particularly the course marshals. Would never come back.
**In response to the owner's false assumption response...
1) Never left the cart path once. Don't know where that assumption came from.....
2) Was told when we checked in: "The 2 guys we were gonna pair you with arrived 20 mins early so they already started, so you guys are just by yourselves today"
3) Then got screamed at by a ranger for literally following instructions: "You guys need to catch up to the group ahead of you and play together! We have an event in 4 hours and need you off MY course by then!"
4) After playing the first 9 holes with my nephew who is just learning the game, the same ranger drives up while I'm putting and says "Hey you, come over here. Your youngster's skills aren't fit for this course. I'm moving you over to Ridgeview where he'll fit in a little better"
I've spoken with other golfers since my experience and it seems to be the norm at this course. Didn't realize I had signed up to play Pebble Beach.

Horrible customer service, will never be back. Planned a trip here scheduled a month ahead of time, said we couldnβt play when we got there. No phone call no warning nothing, didnβt try to help us out pretty much told us to leave and didnβt care. Second day also planned to play here and same thing, didnβt care about customers at all did not try to get us on the course at all even though other people were playing it. If you want a good experience and to be taken care of go check out their sister course Lassing pointe they got us on for 18 both days even with a big group & the worker even took time to help us out because of all the inconveniences we had & invited us back in the future.

Love playing the course but the guy working the check in desk is rude every single time I check in. I play the course once a week if not twice and always play with 2 but yet this past tee time I didn't have 3 and it seemed like he didn't want to let us play but yet every group behind us was only 2 so hopefully he scolded them like he scolded me. Yesterday was the last time I'll play the course. If I only have 2 people playing I shouldn't be guilted.

Very unwelcoming clubhouse personnel. County funded Golf course that must hire ex BMV employees because they were rude & unwelcoming. My golf cart wheel unfortunately was damaged while on the course. Was driving normal, going from grass back to the cart path, as I have done thousands of times before. Was harassed by the pro & another employee as I explained what happened & how it could've happened to anyone. I was charged $500 for damages. Something that could've been fixed for much cheaper! The carts are leased & sent out to be repaired at a premium price & that bill is payed for by the taxpayer. Horrible use of taxpayer dollars & frankly just lazy. Will never be back to this course.

I checked their website and said they were open until 8pm. My 6yr old son wanted to play put put. I called when leaving to confirm but no answer. I drove 35 minutes and they guy in the pro shop is playing on the golf simulator. Iβm there at 7:10 and heβs says we canβt play because heβs waiting for the people playing to finish so he can leave. So I drove 35 minutes with a 6 yr old and he canβt play because the guy in the pro shop wants to close earlier than what their website says. Not very customer friendly from my experience.

This course was a staple of my introduction into golf. I joined Traditions Golf Club for 200$ a month and it has been the best move I could have made. I no longer have to put up with inconsistencies in play of public courses. It's extremely sad to see a once favorite course fall apart. It's almost as if they spent so much on that beautiful clubhouse but can no longer afford to put gas in the mowers to maintain the rough. When you have dandelions growing it may be time to trim the course...it may fix your pace of play issues just a little.. The greens were still in good shape for the most part. I guess they have given up completely on there Bunkers, they are actually worse than Kenton Courses. Watch where you step on Lakeview, geese have run amuck and the once gorgeous looking hole seems flat and as dead as the bunker on the left. The way they are treating this land I won't be surprised if it becomes the next Fox Run.

Played here for the first time, I thought it was in fantastic condition and was a very fun course! Nice variety of different hole layouts and the greens were well-maintained. The pace of play was great for our group, we did not have to wait behind the group in front of us very often. The only negative was that some tee boxes needed some work - similar to its sister course Lassing Pointe. Some tee boxes were very uneven. Overall, I would recommend to others in the NKY area.

$47.00 ? To ride 18 holes ? For Seniors ? They have GOT to be kidding !!! Theyβre not spending any of that on pre-emergent, OR lawn mower gas. Canβt find ball in the FIRST cut of rough AT ALL for all the clover & dandelions ! Lassing Pointe a MUCH better βvalueβ. I suppose SOMEONE has to pay for those renovations, but.....a mini golf setup ??? I will NOT return. This is NOT a country club, but a PUBLIC GOLF COURSE.

Im not a golfer anymore but after seeing the facilities its clear they would be a great option for much more than just golf. I got to the golf course at 7:35 PM just to try and sneak 9 holes in on a cart. This is the first time I had ever played at this course. The man working was named Russ I believe and he was very rude. He seemingly didn't want me to play, as there was no one on the course after it had rained. I wanted to play ridgeview and he wouldn't let me. I still don't know why. I had been told earlier in the day that the special was 9 and a cart for $17. So, I had to pay $25 for another course. Not a huge deal, but annoying. then he must have told me another 3-4 times that I had to be done by 8:45, and no matter what hole I was on, I had to quit and come back in. What kind of customer service is this?? I had planned to play as quickly as I could anyway. I ended up finishing at 8:50, anyway. We had an argument. In retrospect, I could have handled the situation better on my end, as I got upset. He told me he was doing me a favor by letting me play, as I had got there at 7:35 instead of 7:30, which is the latest one can play. What kind of customer service is this???? I was sort of shocked by all of this... On a positive note, the course was in good shape and I enjoyed it for playing on this the first time... I just wish the experience had been better. I would love to play the course again, but I am hesitant, due to customer service skills of employees.

I have not and will not play this course. I am new to the area and wanted to try a new course. I looked online and saw there were many open tee times but figured I'd call to double check availability. I called and was greeted by a nasty off putting employee who continued to tell me I was not able to play because I was a single player. The tee sheet was wide open, I have played golf my entire life and have never had or heard of a course turn someone away when there are endless openings on a weekday afternoon. I told the employee he will never get my business and he proceeded to hang up the phone.
Reading through the other comments it seems as though this is a theme at this course.

Way too expensive for the condition. In some places there was more grass in the cart path than on the course! Can't even count how many hard pan lies we had. Putts bounced left and right on bad grass, between missing grass and not cared for ball marks.
