The only people who would think this is a great place to do crossfit have never been to a box besides this one. First of all the gym is a few miles from rubbertown so you are going to be breathing very polluted air when you are running outside. There is very little coaching that is done there, most crossfitt gyms dedicate a significant part of each class to skill work 5 days a week, not this gym they only do it maybe 2 days a week. The days where they don't do skill work you go in do your wod (workout) and leave. These classes are only 30 minutes long so you are getting ripped off because you are not getting the 60 minutes you paid for. The workout programing is Terrible, the whole time I attented, there were multiple crossfit movements that were never taught,. I asked Chris the coach if he could do the muscle up movement on the rings his quote was " that is a very complicated gymnastic move I cant do". If you decide to go there make sure you ask what the unwritten rules are so you don't get called into the office.

Break the Mold CrossFit is great for those that want to get in shape and become more physically active. You will get your money's worth plus some! I joined the 'New You' age 50+ challenge group. I wanted to become more flexible and energetic. The owner and trainers are great and they motivate you to complete each assigned challenge. Exercises are setup according to your physical abilities. You are expected to do better at the end than you were on day two of week one. The challenges were invigorating. Drink plenty of water! Thanks Travis.

I dropped into Break the Mold when out of town. The community was welcoming and upbeat. I was also happy to seee that everything was really clean. On top of all of that, the coaching was great - very attentive. I would definitely recommend BTM to anyone looking to get started with a fitness routine or just looking to get a new change of pace from their regular routine.

I love the work out and training here at Mold fit because you are learning what body parts so what for each muscle group. It's good that they encourage you to get in the best workout. You train at your own pace. I love the group of people that are there too because we as a people encourage each other. It's really worth the money. It's a great investment in yourself. I love the this place!

I started here with the New You Challenge and I am so happy that I signed up. I am looking forward to regular classes there now & meeting even more people. So far it has been fun just to come to class no matter the workout & struggling through with people that will cheer you on or even join in when they are done to keep you going. If you are thinking about joining a CrossFit location give BTM a try, you won't regret it.

My first experience with Break the Mold CrossFit was in December 2016. I went in for an interview to participate in their pilot program titled "New You Challenge" that started January 2017. From the time I have walked in the door, I have not wanted to leave. I enjoy it so much, I became a member of the gym in late February of this year. The coaches, members, support, and positive energy fill BTM with so much joy, friendship, trust, and love. It is a community that strives to push and challenge each other. The facilities are accommodating for everyone: parents, students, adults wanting to workout, or just spend time with other members. There is a room for children to play in while their parents complete their workouts. There is a kitchen to store and or prepare food, if you need. There are study rooms for teachers like me who might need to grade some papers or students who need to do some homework. Break the Mold also has a wonderful connectection to the community in which they are housed. They work with non-profit organizations, create and design programs for local teenagers, and are always trying to find new ways to help out those around them. If you live in or around Louisville and you are looking for a gym to join or looking to try out something new, Break the Mold CrossFit is definitely a place worth checking out!

Over the last three years I've tried a few different Crossfit gyms in Louisville. Louisville has a great community for Crossfit, I've never had a negative experience at any of the local gyms. But I was needing a gym that was closer to my work. I came across Break the Mold Crossfit around July/Aug of 2016. Its one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was one of the first members, and getting to witness this gym grow has truly been amazing.

The coaches Nicole and Chris demonstrate, teach and correct each of our forms before the work out. They are both super motivational, personable and fun. The gym hours accommodate everyone. Every day is a different workout that challenges you and you'll never get bored. I look forward to going to this gym every afternoon.

To me what sets Break the Mold apart from other gyms, is the community effort that owners Nicole and Bill display. They are always out in the community making positive changes and encouraging the members to do so as well. They offer free Crossfit to at risk youth, through a program called Steve's Club. They really open the gym to any and everyone.

Break the Mold is more than just a gym and I'd recommend it to anyone.

This Crossfit gym is great. The people are super friendly and the workouts hard. There are some things we do on our knees I wish we had mats for, but otherwise, it's great!
