Hi, my name is Vada Taylor, and I have been with this gym for 6 all most 7 years now. It is a very good gym. The staff are really nice and good with kids, and the coaches are really nice and supportive. When you are having a hard time, the coaches are there to talk to you and support you in the best way possible. The coaches are also very funny, but they also challenge you, and when they know you can do a skill, they will tell you and push you to be the best gymnasts you can be.

We joined the team gym over 4 years ago. We joined when a T&T coach suggested that my daughter would be a good fit for the team. We decided to give it a try. My daughter loved it and soon her sister followed. She loved her coaches. The Trampoline and Tumbling team was never respected in the team gym though. Our kids would constantly have to get out of the way for the gymnastic teams. When our team would try to practice our events we would have to fight to get in there. We always felt overlooked and unappreciated. When an agreement between our coach and the owner could not be made our coach left. At this point we were left with a coach that could not spot our children. This was unacceptable to me. I decided that I could not pay the amount of money that the team cost with no head coach and not being welcomed in the gym. I looked for other options. I found a place where my children were welcomed right away and where all the children seem happy. Now there are lawsuits against the coach. The only people being hurt are the kids that just want to tumble and feel welcomed.

We have have invested many years with multiple children in the Champion T&T program. Unfortunately, I am saddened how the infighting between the owner and the ex-coaches has and continues to negatively impact the children and their families. The depths to which this dispute has gone now has a high potential of negatively impacting the legacy of the gym, it’s founders, the T&T program, and the athletes. I hope in the near future there is some reflection and focus on what the gym and these programs should be for, the kids, and that these disputes can be quickly and amicably settled.

Edit based on response: I believe lawsuits and withholding team earned funds fully qualifies as negative... I also believe a response that forgoes all facts demonstrates a lack of moral stature that should be expected of a child focused company.
