I’ve been doing Pilates at Club Pilates for about four months now and have already taken over 50 classes—and I absolutely love it! The reformer is so fun to use, and I really appreciate how each class incorporates different tools to keep things fresh and challenging. The variety of classes and instructors is fantastic. I’ve especially enjoyed taking classes with Brynna, April, and Sherry, but honestly, every instructor I’ve had has been excellent. I can definitely feel myself getting stronger, and I’m excited to continue practicing Pilates as part of my long-term wellness journey. Highly recommend!

Linda is very creative at changing the exercises so that you’re not doing the same thing each session. She does push you a little bit, if you’re ready for it. If not, she has modifications for you. At 66 years old, I need to make the change sometimes.

Kaci is amazing. I feel like I get a great workout. I’m not a person who sweats easily. But even in a reformer 1 class with her I get a good sweat. I love her explanation and attention to detail when explaining different movements. Her sweet demeanor is also amazing. She understands how to push us to do more while being gentle and kind. She is one of the kindest people I know.

Worst client service ever. The was a blonde young lady at the front desk (I am not sure if it was Amanda, the person I was texting to schedule the class), this lady was unprofessional and rude. I understand the policy of arriving ten minutes early, which is why I got there at 11:50. However, I forgot my gripping socks, and the ones sold there cost $20—an exorbitant price I simply couldn’t afford. I waited for someone to bring me my socks from home, and they arrived at exactly 12:00.

At 11:59, Amanda literally started counting down, saying, “You have 30 seconds left.” She then told me I could enter at 12:00, but only when the instructor wasn’t speaking so I wouldn’t interrupt, strict company policy (I guess), but I would still understand as it would be out of her control. However, the moment the clock hit 12:00, she completely changed her stance and flat-out refused to let me in. The way she handled it was unnecessarily rude. Instead of politely explaining, “Sorry, due to our policy, you can’t enter,” she just said, “No, you can’t enter,” with a straight face and a sense of superiority.

Feeling uncomfortable and taken aback, I still said, “Thank you,” out of politeness. She didn’t respond until I was almost out the door, muttering a cold, indifferent “You’re welcome.”

When the person bringing my socks arrived, I felt embarrassed to tell them that I wouldn’t even be allowed in (and in the rudest manner possible). With all the disappointment, I simply said, “We should just go. Thank you for bringing these, but I am never coming back to this place”.

I started my Pilates journey back in November and had no clue what I was doing. After a number of months, I found my way and I was hooked! Classes with Nikki and Kaci are the best for me but I knew I needed to take a step “over” to learn the “basics”. I began working privately with Nikki on a weekly basis and WOW…it has been LIFE-CHANGING! Nikki is not only an Expert at her craft, but kind, patient, inspiring and motivating. After working with her for a few months, I’ve never felt better. I’m more confident in class and I now know what I need to be doing with my body during each exercise. Thank you Club Pilates for being that fun experience that I never knew I needed! And thank you to Nikki for transforming my mindset and helping to make me stronger!

It is crowded, but it wasn’t a very good experience for me. I think it can be a good place if you don’t have any health issues and if you’ve done Pilates and know what you’re doing. And if you want to exercise few times a week, as they have unlimited classes packages. But I wouldn’t recommend it if you have health issues or just want quality over quantity. The groups are too big for the instructors to pay enough attention to every person. I often didn’t understand how to do an exercise and hurt my hip at some point.
I found a different Pilates place in town where they are very professional, caring and attentive to every person and really consider and help with your health issues.

I have to be honest, I visited Club Pilates Middletown twice a week starting this past January. I really enjoyed it until I attended a class with a very rude instructor. I am brand new to Pilates. Instead of being helpful, this instructor was nasty and told me I wasn’t strong enough for her class. I went to the manager and explained the situation, she did say that she would expand my membership to include classes at the other location and apologized (after making justifications for her actions). After much thought I decided to end my membership so I reached out to the manager to let her know. The manager ended my membership and didn’t even respond to my message. Beware if you’re a beginner!

Club Pilates in Middletown is unbelievable. One day, my sister invites me to go with her to Pilates. She must have seen the scowl on my face coming on as she knows my reluctance to exercise in public for fear that my awkwardness and lack of talent in anything spatial, will make me stand out. Then she says, "Come on, you're laying down most of the time on the machine." I didn't believe it but I must have been in a good mood about something because I went. You ARE laying down most of the time-well, much of the time. You are working out your legs, arms, core, and the rest, but the wizardry of the reformer machine helps you work all the muscles you knew you had and ones that you didn't know you had. The 50-minute class flies by so quickly, I don't believe its over-every single time. I have gone to 43 classes and each time I am surprised, and each time I have felt challenged. So how could that be? The instructors. Their expertise and timing is shocking. Just when you feel you can't do another rep-that WAS the last one. They can 100% predict how long everyone can do something. There is a variety of age ranges, people beginning their exercise journey, and many people who have always exercised. Literally anyone can do this. Even the spatially-challenged.
