We have SO many choices when it comes to fitness: big-box gyms; cross-fit; boutique fitness studios; self-motivated work ;) ... etc. Ultimately, you have to find what works for YOU. It's something that becomes a part of your regular routine because you want to make it priority. As a former fitness studio owner, I needed to find that "something" for myself, beyond the classes I taught. A good friend introduced me to Ash several months back. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge of body mechanics. At our first meeting he observed my movements and diagnosed my "weaknesses". The variety of workouts is great; you should never be bored. Group classes have also been engaging. He's grown his team to be able to offer more personal and group sessions. Pricing is EXTREMELY fair, especially for personal training!

CrossRiver Fitness is a fantastic place to workout! If you're looking for a personal trainer, look no further than Steve Krumins. He is highly qualified, experienced and will help you meet your goals. Every workout is different and you will never be bored. Steve is also great at explaining the why and how for each exercise. You will leave knowing not only good form/mechanics but also how to create a solid workout plan. He has made the gym and lifting less intimdating and I look forward to each session. I am 76 years old and have had Ash Calderon as my trainer pre-covid-19. At the initial interview, I had three goalsβ€”flexibility, core strength and correcting my posture. I have curvature of the spine and had shrunk to 5’11”. Since working with Ash, I am back to my 6’2” height; I’m stronger and working on my flexibility. Currently we are working on sitting in lotus position, with my butt, back and head touching the wall, and brushing the wall with my arms until my thumbs touch overhead. I ask lots of questions until I understand form or why I am working on a particular movement. We discuss diet or a piece of equipment I may be buying for my home gym. Ash is very patient and positive. I trust Ash in everything except his choice of music (sometimes) and the only radio talk-show host to whom he listens. He’s great! pjk
