Danny is an excellent fitness & nutrition coach! He is careful and thoughtful to create plans that are sustainable for each individual. Danny has truly been the trainer I needed during one of the most challenging years of my life. After having rotator cuff surgery and a mastectomy for breast cancer, I knew I had to do everything possible to stay as healthy and strong as I could—not only for myself but for my husband, daughters, and nine grandchildren. I met with Danny right before taking two of our grandchildren to Italy, and he immediately listened to my story and offered a plan tailored to my unique situation.

When I found out I was pregnant at 34 with baby #4, I quickly decided I wanted a healthier/safer pregnancy and delivery. That’s when I found Danny. I met with him when I was about 6 weeks pregnant. I told him my personal goals, one of which was to maintain weight gain during pregnancy, and he developed a plan for me. We spent the remainder of my pregnancy prepping for labor and delivery. Danny always made me feel safe and comfortable, especially during my third trimester. He’s knowledgeable and always answered any questions I had. Danny was also accommodating to my crazy life schedule. I’m happy to report that my labor and delivery with this baby was the best I’ve had. And recovery afterward was even better. Danny is amazing to work with! His program is very individualized. The exercises he provides are easy to follow (even provides example videos). Don't be shy when he asks you to video yourself. He gives great feedback to make sure you are getting the best results from the exercises (and correct form prevents injuries). Danny helps set goals that are attainable even with the changing circumstances of life. If you need it, he helps you with stress management and basic life coaching. He is very understanding and always has your best interest in mind.

I recommend his diet coaching as much as his exercise coaching! He knows how to make small changes that add up in the long run. It's easy to follow his guidelines as he helps you set goals and provides helpful tips to attain them.

He is quick to answer any questions you have. Keeping a close eye on your progress, he encourages you and helps you each step of the way.

His coaching isn't one size-fits-all. As a 53 year old woman, I was impressed with his knowledge of dietary and physical needs for me specifically. I recommend his coaching for the young and old and everyone in-between!

I’ve had a tremendously positive relationship with Danny from both a professional and personal standpoint. As a trainer, unlike the majority of online personal trainers, he genuinely designs individual exercise programs for people that are unique to each person and based not only on the persons needs, but also based on their wants. He doesn’t use some rubber stamp to write exercise prescriptions by copying and pasting frequently used plans to save himself time. Every plan he writes is well-thought out with that one person’s plan in mind.

He also is extremely responsive and always replies within a timely manner to any questions I may have but even more, one can tell that he’s always paying attention to what the client is doing because he’ll always commenting and providing feedback to your workouts.

The app that he uses is super user friendly and while very basic and easy for really anyone to use, regardless of their technical skills, it does everything one would need it to do.

The progress I’ve made in only a few months has been blatantly evident both in strength and endurance improvements but also in the way I look. If you put in the work that he assigns for you, you will benefit exponentially as well.

Lastly, I have had the pleasure to chat with him a number of times about things entirely unrelated to our client/trainer relationship and I can honestly say that he’s a super, super person with lots of integrity. I trust the guy with my health and my best interest 100% and I fully recommend him to anyone who is on the fence.. you will be glad you did.

I’ve run 2 half marathons and 1 full marathon in the past couple years, but couldn’t seem to find the right balance of proper nutrition and running, which led to gradually increasing weight/body fat. I was also completely neglecting strength training which led to a lot of injuries. After talking to some friends who were working with Danny, I decided he might be able to help!

I have several goals so I signed up for a year commitment with Danny, but after just a couple months I’m well on my way to reaching them! His workouts are easy to follow and individualized to my needs. They take into account my weaknesses and previous injuries and use equipment I already had at home. He changes them frequently and they’re never boring! He’s helped me make some simple changes with my eating habits and knowing he’s reviewing my food logs keeps me accountable!

I had stopped jogging and lifting weights due to bladder issues and arm pain. Because of this, along with an under active thyroid, I had put on a few pounds. I was feeling very stuck and defeated in my fitness goals.
When I googled personal trainers, DG Fit was the only one who said he could help with nutrition as well as training. That did it for me!!! I messaged Danny and he promptly got back with me!! I was soon on my way to weight loss and getting back in shape!! He cleared up misconceptions I had about eating less to lose weight. I had shoulder surgery 2 years ago, and went through all the recommended rehab to return to playing baseball, but although my shoulder pain was gone I only had about 60% of my throwing strength back. I was discouraged and wondered if I would ever get my shoulder strong again. Then about 6 months ago I heard about DG Fit and started working with Danny, and I’ve regained quite a bit of strength in my shoulder. And it’s not just stronger throws. I used to have terrible pain in my biceps tendons at the end of every baseball season because my elbows were so worn out...not this year! My whole body is stronger now and I feel confident going out on the field knowing I’m less prone to injuries.

Danny is great to work with. He’s easygoing but so well prepared. I’ve told him to push me hard and he does, but he’s also ready to modify the workout on the fly if I come in too tired or vulnerable to a particular type of injury. He’s super patient and a big encourager. If you’ve been trying to get fit but just need the expertise to know what exercises will get you there, or just need the push of a good coach, check Danny out. Highly recommended!

I have never been much for working out, but during the Covid lockdown (while living abroad with no access to a gym) my husband encouraged me to contact Danny about setting up an indoor workout routine for me. Danny was so easy to work with and generous with his time in getting set up with virtual workouts on TrueCoach. Then, when I got pregnant with our first child and desired to deliver unmedicated, Danny adjusted quickly to design three workouts a week that specifically targeted the areas I would be using most in birth and motherhood. He is a joy to work with—knowledgeable, encouraging, and fun! What do I recommend about DG Fit?

At our first consultation, the first thing I noticed about Danny was his down to earth, humble and genuine personality. As we continued to discuss goals and expectations, his level of knowledge and expertise became clear. The professionalism he has demonstrated since day one is impressive and unwavering. I always feel comfortable and at ease whether we are discussing goals or he is leading a workout session.

My personal training has been more as a “hybrid” client. We meet in person at the gym for 60 minutes, typically 2-3 times per week and on other days he enters workouts into an app that I can use anywhere to get an effective workout! As far as the online component, I admit I was skeptical at first. The app, however, is extremely user friendly and allows for a high level of interaction. Danny is very responsive to messages or questions both in the app and via text.

With a recent diagnosis of a potentially debilitating auto-immune disease, finding a knowledgeable personal trainer was important. Working with Danny has been life changing. His approach is very person centered and intuitive. At the same time, he is strongly rooted in the science and practical application of “Exercise as Medicine”. By this I mean he tailors everything to accommodate my unique needs and current limitations.

While exercise is important, he will be the first to tell you that proper nutrition is also essential. When I began, I was already well aware of my poor eating habits and I made it clear I was not interested in discussing those with him at that time. I knew that once I started working out, making some changes to those bad habits would come in due time. He respected my request. My initial lack of willingness to discuss nutrition was actually more from a place of guilt or shame. As I had predicted, I was more open to other changes once we started training. I didn’t realize it right away, but Danny managed to create a safe environment that nearly erased any guilt or shame I felt about my current nutrition habits. He made it so I was able to allow myself to be more open. His uncanny ability to influence and encourage his clients to lead better lives is incredible.

Danny’s business cards say: “Personal Training // Lifestyle Development” and I can personally attest to his ability to act as both. I often joke with him that I should be referring to him as my “Life Coach” and not as my personal trainer.

Bottom line? Danny offers flexibility utilizing in person and online options, accountability and a unique and person centered plan tailored to my needs. Most importantly though, I can honestly say that he genuinely cares.
