I began using Ben's online training program back in April 2025. In 5 months I am down 18 pounds, have more energy, muscle definition and significant improvement in my overall health. Each week I get a customized plan for nutrition and exercise. Ben is available at all times to ask questions or get more help. The app that I have access to for the workouts is very easy to use and helpful. Ben customizes my meals based on my own preferences and will answer me quickly during the week if I need to change something. He has been encouraging and so helpful. Even though we have not met or worked together in person, I feel like he is a friend that is cheering me on and helping me achieve my goals. I cannot say enough about Dipaola Training Systems online option.

I found Ben after looking for a trainer who works with mature clients. I have both Osteoporosis and old injuries. In the past, I would get started with exercise and then cause pain to an old injury and have to take time off.
Ben is extremely knowledgeable and was able to tweak exercises that caused me pain. He is very attentive to form and proper positioning so that the exercises would be beneficial and safe for me. I found Ben to be calmly encouraging, willing to answer all of my many questions, and very pleasant to work with. Thank you Ben for helping me on my way to lasting fitness and strength!

I have been a life-long weight lifter and overall exercise enthusiast. For me, it’s not difficult to get to the gym. I’m pretty disciplined. Having recently retired, I was seeking a fresh perspective on my diet and exercise routines. I turned to Dipaola Training Systems (DTS) for an evaluation and recommendation. Ben developed a customized 3-day full body workout program that can be done on my own or with Ben providing personal training services. I decided to purchase a package from DTS and now train under Ben’s guidance for a hour a day twice per week. Ben challenges me to workout harder than I would on my own and points out helpful form corrections. Ben regularly changes things up to work muscles from different angles. This keeps things fresh and prevents staleness. Ben includes exercises to improve balance and stability which I had previously neglected. Overall, I highly recommend Ben and Dipaola Training Systems. He is an excellent coach who will get the best out of you in a constructive and motivational manner.

Ben is incredibly skilled in providing personal training. He uses his extensive expertise and experience to support personalized goals and does so in a very positive manner. I’ve had significant progression in building strength and balance and surpassing personal goals set early on with Ben. He’s also great at creating progressive programs that challenge, but don’t overwhelm. Bonus is he’s a super nice guy and easy to talk to and work with. Highly recommend for any personal training if in Lexington area!

I’ve been working with Ben for several years. I was impressed by his passion for fitness and his deep understanding of the science behind the workouts. I like that he can explain the “why” behind an exercise and how it fits into my fitness program. When I made plans to hike in Spain last year (80 miles of the Camino de Santiago) he tailored my workouts to get me ready for it and I know that’s what made it possible for me to complete the hike without injury and enjoy the adventure. Ben sets a very high standard for personal training and is a consummate professional. I highly recommend him.

I started training with Ben in summer of 2023. Before we started training together, he sat down with me to discuss goals. His training sessions always pushed me to be stronger and pick up more weight than I would on my own. I love the structure of his workouts and the pace. He is receptive to feedback and will make changes if needed to accommodate client needs. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Training with Ben was a top notch experience.
We worked together for a three month program and all aspects of the experience were excellent. At the start, he was very responsive, listened carefully to and developed a personalized plan aligned with my goals, and made getting established and started an easy process. Not only did he develop a great training plan, but I appreciated his ability to explain the plan, answer questions, and discuss ideas throughout. Another key aspect was his attentiveness to proper form and pacing, which helped me break bad habits and get the most out of my exercises. He is very easy to work with and talk to, both during sessions and in terms of scheduling. Towards the end of our training period, he developed a long term plan for my workout regimen.
My personal experience was excellent. I also observed him, briefly, work with a variety of other clients and that, coupled with his ability to explain clearly and adapt plans in response to goals, suggests that he would be an excellent choice for many age groups and a variety of goals. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Ben DiPaolo is the most professional and knowledgeable person I’ve ever trained with. (he’s the sixth or seventh trainer I have worked with), Very patient and encouraging, he always leaves me with something in the tank so I don’t burn out and want to quit!
He helped me get ready to carry a 40 pound backpack in high mountain elevations, which I did with ease(mostly!). I am so much stronger after working with him! In my 60s I’m doing things that a lot of 50 year olds don’t even attempt! I highly recommend him and his gym, which is immaculately, clean and beautiful!

I have worked out on my own for many years, but it was not until I began working with Ben Dipaola that I was finally able to achieve substantial and sustainable results. At 45, I was frustrated from years of working out hard and completing program after program with only minimal results. I also thought I was eating healthy, but in reality I was in a cycle of restricting my carbs and calories until it was unsustainable; I’d fail only to start again on the same low calorie cycle later. I was struggling, and I knew I needed help to achieve my goals. After a long search, I decided to contact Ben, and I have never looked back! His coaching/training is exactly what I needed. I began seeing and feeling results in my overall strength and appearance over the first month, and at Ben’s guidance I was eating more calories (including fats and carbs) than I ever would have imagined I could while still dropping body fat. Over the course of 6 months I lost 30 lbs, but more importantly, my body had completely changed for the better. Now, at 48, my body is stronger and looks better than it did when I was a 20 yr old athlete. I have always been willing to work hard; the difference between then and now is having Ben’s guidance and personalized training, which has progressively helped me improve in all areas concerning my health. Ben is an amazing trainer, who knows what he is doing and he treats everyone in the gym with the upmost respect, highly recommend working with Ben. I have shadowed Ben a few times and from someone who just graduated college for Exercise sports science with an A average everything he does is by the book correct but also individualized for each person he trains and he does an excellent job at getting the most out of his time with you an hour with Ben will be plenty for you because he uses the science behind training.

Anthony is an excellent trainer. He helped me with at-home training. I had been working out for a while on my own before asking for help. I've been working out with Ben for a couple years, but recently decided to focus more on nutrition. I didn't want to commit to a diet that wasn't going to work for me long term, so Ben listened to my concerns and suggested a plan that works for me (while also not making my husband "suffer thru a diet"). Ben had specific suggestions to get me started, but the diet allows many substitutions to fit my schedule and social obligations. I've now been "on this plan" about 7 months and it's plenty of healthy eating and FLEXIBLE which is what I needed to make it sustainable. Over the last month, I've branched out more with a wider variety of menu changes (minus a lot of exercise due to surgery) and I've found that my metabolism seems to have "revved up" allowing for even more flexibility in the future...a big plus! His plan has worked for me and as a nutritional coach, he checked in often to make sure things were going good. For me, the slow and steady weight loss translated into an obtainable and maintainable long term goal. Thank you Ben for sharing your expertise both in exercise and nutrition!!

I’ve been working with Ben for two years and my workout routine has advanced significantly. With the use of proper form, intentional training, and a meal plan, I have experienced much more muscle growth after feeling stagnant for years. I have worked with Ben at FITS for several months. He has been phenomenal. Ben works hard to provide you the support you need based on your Individualized goals. Ben and I have worked together both in-person at a local gym and virtually. He was able to give me support in both settings that led to some great progress. He is creative and able to work with your specific equipment. I am now leaner and stronger than I have been in years. Ben's ability understand the science behind what he does sets him apart other trainers. I have a Biomedical Sciences (Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology) PhD, so having a trainer that gets the science was important to me. This perfectly describes Ben. He was also able to communicate that science to me (and other clients I saw him interact with) in a way that was easy to understand. I’ve been training with Ben for the past few months now and I am so happy I have been able to do so! This was my first real personal training experience, and it’s been great. Ben is super knowledgeable about the mechanics of exercising, explains the what, why and how of each exercise well, and truly wants to help. He’s easy to talk too and honestly has a heart of gold. I’ve been apprehensive to go to the gym for awhile now, but Ben has made it so much less intimidating, and even came up with a solid workout plan for me to do outside of our sessions. Hiring Ben has been one of the better decisions I've made when it comes to working out. I have been strength training for several years now but I haven't felt like I was making much progress. 6 months after I had my hip replaced I realized I needed to get in better shape. I wanted to loose weight and gain more flexibility. I met with Ben 2x a week for several months and we worked on flexibility, stretching and weights. Best thing that could of happened !! His knowledge and dedication to my training was his priority ... he was always supportive and encouraging when I would not be 100% ... pushing me and encouraging me to just fight through it ...
