Why don't they offer separate facilities for men and women? A lot of the exercise positions are degrading to do in front of the opposite gender.

I have been a member of Fit 4 less for over a year. It is conveniently open 24hrs a day. They do offer a specialized fitness plan from a personal trainer. The facility have several massage beds, tanning beds, vending machines with a variety of beverages and machines with healthy snack foods. They provide a full array of weights, individual machines that work different muscle groups with instructions of how to use them. Plenty of treadmills and stair steppers. Plenty of room for parking outside with lamps to light parking lot. My experiences have been calm and pleasant. Great place to work out for a reasonable price.

Great price. Clean gym. Can get busy after work and there can be a wait at the machines, but I will take a smaller, locally owned business than a corporate giant like Planet Fitness any day.

This used to be my favorite place to go until the staff hours changed. I purchased the black membership for tanning AND guest benfits. When the hours changed, I had a harder time changing my schedule to make it work.

There is the annual membership fee which is understandable. You pay $40 PER YEAR in addition to the total $240 annual membership monthly fee. But if you cancel nine (9!!!) days after your year anniversary of signing your contract nothing can be done. You're going to be charged for the entire next year but use the gym until October. You signed the contract and there's nothing you can do but pay. Have fun!

We were also told the gym would be expanding into what was once the liquor store next door. I was quite surprised when I showed up today and it's not an expansion to the gym for the classes we were promised but a Kelly Services office.

So to sum up this one star rating: intentional confusing contract terms to get extra money out of customers, false promises to keep customers, and no accountability on their end when THEIR terms (like staffed hours) change.

Quiet, very polite staff, very caring. I have only had to wait once in 7 months on a tanning bed. It was only for 4 minutes. The staff do care about your health and well being. The answer questions and ask how you have been if you haven't been there for a while. And the notice faces.
