I just took a stretch class with Keith through ClassPass and WOW. I feel so FREE. Like Mr. Fantastic from Fantastic 4. I was really nervous to come here as I haven’t worked out since before college (4 years ago +1 for my master’s!), I’m very overweight, and I have a gigantic fear of the gym. I thought a nice stretch class would ease me into being able to work up the strength to hit the gym, and that was definitely the case! The stretches were so nice, and Keith helped me all through the class adjust them to my flexibility level (I’m way more flexible than I thought??). Even though I was the youngest person in there everyone was so lovely and it was a great class. I felt welcomed and encouraged and this experience single handedly made me feel excited about starting my fitness journey! The gym was nice and clean, and all the mats and such were provided which was so nice because I didn’t even think about those! After all my ClassPass points are used up I am definitely considering becoming a member here at Fitness 19. Thank you all so so much!

I love Fitness 19! I've been a member since August 2022 and I visit 4-5 times each week. The gym is clean and well- maintained and the hours are super convenient for me. All of the staff are kind and responsive and the membership fees are reasonable. I also love the community of people who frequent the gym - everyone is encouraging and friendly! Great gym!

Absolutely horrible gym. Do NOT give them access to your bank account. After stealing money from me for 8 months despite repeatedly being told I wanted to cancel my membership they came up with some bogus debt that I owed them, despite owing me money that they stole from my bank account and sent it to a collections agency when I had to change my bank account information to get them to stop stealing from me. Do not ever sign up for them. Avoid avoid avoid.

Wouldn’t recommend, I guess they’re was miscommunication my account was suppose to be closed but it was frozen, then they unfroze my account months later without permission, sent me to collections and I tried to talk to people and the girl said nothing she can help me with, I have the money to pay for it just shouldn’t have happened to begin with definitely never returning

I’ve been going for a year now and the owner is nice but the man at the front desk is rude and I think he likes little girls, the personal trainers are too touchy, the equipment needs some work, we need zyzz music in the gym at all times and the fountain water needs creatine in it, the lighting is also very bad

Great facility. The man who works the front desk is really rude and won't acknowledge you or help you unless you're a female. There are signs everywhere asking you to wear a mask, but no one enforces it. The owner(s) seem to be great people. All the equipment is great.

My girlfriend and I came to this gym to try out their advertised one day free trial. Upon entering the building, we were denied the trial and membership since she was a college student and given no explainable reason as to why other than "you will only be here for the summer" even though the gym is a month by month membership. Confused, we further tried to explain that we are both long standing residents of Kentucky and we're just wanting to find a gym. We were cut off and told no because after 2 months, she will just go back to college- even though her college is the University of Louisville and our house is 15 minutes away from the gym.

Been going to this gym for almost 7 years. Inexpensive, with no frills, which was exactly what I was initially looking for in gym. Owners & staff are friendly but unobtrusive. Most importantly, this gym is very clean; you’ll find the staff constantly cleaning. This gym isn’t very large, but the size of workout areas is more than adequate and has a flow that makes sense. If the gym is busy, it tends to get crowded; however most of the patrons have decent gym etiquette.

Everything was good until I got a new card and they sent me a rudely worded text message about my payment not going through. I never went back to workout there after that. I got a new phone and was out of town for a while around the holidays and when I got back I had a letter saying they were sending me to collections on a day that had already passed. I called and who I talked to basically said they couldn't do anything billing related. Bad business methods. Had they simply said they needed to update my payment methods rather than being rude and greedy about the situation they would have still had my business and a 5 star review.

Do not believe the sale pitch about cancellation. One of the reason I joined last year was the ability to cancel my membership at anytime. That has turned out not to be accurate. When I went to the gym on 1-7-2018 and requested cancellation, I was told to come back another day. I was told they could not cancel on Sunday. I requested to leave my membership card along with written authorization to cancel. Was told that would not work for some unexplained reason.
Since I have made a commercially reasonable attempt to cancel, I will be advising my Bank in the morning not to honor any future attempts to debit my bank account for membership charges

More (or all) of the eliptical gliders at the Louisville, Ky. Brownsboro Road location need access to sound for the 5 TVs mounted on the wall. The left hand side of the e-gliders doesn't offer any machines with a sound port or way to select any of the TVs. I think I say only about 3 machines with TV access out of maybe 10. This is not acceptable to me.

This is great for what you pay. It's not huge but if you need a convenient place with good equipment and great staff this is for you. There is an extra fee you pay in the spring which they do tell you about upfront. Staff are really friendly and go the extra mile. I have asked about a spinning bike and they are at minimum listening and considering without making empty promises. The busy times can make you wait a few minutes but it's not much of a problem.

I would avoid this club. The customer service from Teresa and Keith, two of their managers, is deplorable. My credit card kept being charged, and I got hounded with letters and texts saying I wasn't paying. No apology was ever received. When I tried to quit after being called "stupid" by Teresa for not knowing my contract, I was told I could not.

Lots of other gyms out there. This is THE one to avoid in Louisville.

This is the best fitness facility I have ever been a member of. Really beats Baptist East Milestone. Milestone is 10 times more expensive and all you get different is a swimming pool... which I never used.

The staff at Lime Kiln is rude except a young man named Dillon.
