I reactivated my membership in October and I’m so glad I did! All of the improvements that Genesis has been making are wonderful. There are so many new classes take and new equipment to use. The Kids Club is also a HIGE plus. My son loves going to play and I get to workout- it’s a win for everyone! I also can’t recommend the cycle classes enough. The instructors are phenomenal!

If I could leave no stars, I would. New management but terrible customer service! I hoped that the new management would repair the air conditioning but they have done nothing. 92 degrees on the lower level in mid-July and they expect you to pay to be in there and work out on old machines? 5/10 air units are dead and I was told "management is evaluating if they are going to fix it." So much for "client health." Same equipment and locker rooms from 10 years ago when it was Gold's gym. I had to refill the paper towel rolls numerous times because staff just did not care.
Go to Anytime Fitness, Planet Fitness, or the YMCA and you will have working air conditioning, clean locker rooms, and newer equipment. With the increased membership fees planned by Genesis, it is cheaper and safer to go elsewhere and get better equipment.

I’ve been a member of this gym for several months now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and well-being. You can spend whole day here and never get bored. The equipment is top-notch and well-maintained. Everything from the cardio machines to the free weights is in excellent condition, and the locker rooms are always spotless. Uncrowded swimming pool and sauna additional bonus. Lisa and Chris made me feel like a truly valued person. I always leave the place feeling like on seven clouds. It's just awesome place !

Promises - no improvement. 16 classes - a week. Equipment is not shared with other people, people sit on the machines for 10 minutes, I can "fight" men and ladies off, and it is not my style. People are usually rude to me! Sometimes it feels like non-members have the way in, better than it was a year ago but still... A dirty pool and a sauna. How does our location always fail? Why other Genesis have 50-60 classes a week? Why do you not promote classes and hire instructors, dear Managers. At work, put your cellphone away, go around, inspect, if necessary take a mop and clean!!!!!!!!

I had high hopes for some improvements when Genesis bought Esporta. I have been severely disappointed. They failed to look at the lease to find out the landlord is a mastermind and put all responsibility on the tenant for repairs. The AC hasn’t worked all summer. The staff is vastly misinformed and has told us it is “being fixed today” for weeks. Their solution for the 70% + humidity and 80+ degrees in the locker room was this embarrassing Ollies Bargain fan. Genesis is committing highway robbery with their membership rates considering the product they are providing. Time to look for a new gym.
