Friendly staff, my son improved a lot over 3 months (when he was stuck at the same level for a long time at another swimming school). They focus on actually teaching the kids swimming skills rather than just collecting the weekly pay.

Our 4 year old daughter absolutely loves her lessons at Goldfish! We previously had her enrolled somewhere else, but did not have a good experience. We switched to Goldfish and the difference is night and day! The instructors are all amazing. They interact with the kids in a playful way that gains the trust of the child, which makes the lessons both productive and fun. The customer service is top notch, and every employee we’ve interacted with has been friendly and helpful. We love that we can view the lesson from the window and see her progress. Our daughter’s favorite instructor is Spencer. We can’t say enough great things about him! He is a phenomenal teacher and a natural with kids. He has made her feel confident and excited about swimming! We highly recommend Goldfish Swim School!

Today was my child’s first swim lesson ever. He just turned 7. He has always been afraid of having water in his face. Even in the shower he will put his head down. We were very apprehensive that he would even give it a go. We did a trial run to see how it would go before committing to signing up. His coach was Ashley. She was AMAZING. She was very patient with the students. She didn’t force anything on my child he didn’t want to do. By the end of the 30 minutes he was using the paddle board and the noodle. The best thing was my kiddo finished the session and is excited to do more. Ashley smiled the whole time. Making him feel at ease. Its a well built place and seems very safe and clean. And they mean very well. The pricing is also decently fair (maybe just a bit high for 30 minute fast paced classes). However....
My biggest issue was with a staff member. We had Faith as our teacher for weeks and she was great and outgoing and spoke loudly. They then switched our instructor to a newer girl who I haven't ever got her name mainly because I can never hear her talking. She is a sweet girl but this job isn't good for her, as she can't speak up and direct the class. Furthermore, since she took over, our classes have always been missing out on certain drills/parts of the 30 minutes...I know this as we are regular enough that I know every thing that's supposed to happen in that 30 minutes...since we got the new instructor we skip something thats supposed to happen everyweek and half the time the class sits and looks glassy eyed because we cannot hear most of what she is saying. Example: the instructors are always eyeing the clock above the pool and will either hurry through a drill OR cut it out entirely to end at that 30 minute mark. I would rather pay $50 per class for a slow paced smaller ratio where my child got direct feedback. Probably not a great look if you are trying to sell new memberships. We are unfortunately going to look at canceling as you don't get much power in your sign up process to pick an instructor unless it perfectly aligns with your times you can make and also since we are Sunday classes we can never call to ask questions about rescheduling because for some reason they do not operate on Saturdays which is very confusing when the call policy is day before to change or cancel.
Great idea for a place to learn and I want to note its extremely safe and clean, but in my opinion they are missing the mark on a couple of key things (staff personalities to lead groups and lack of hours that makes sense) that could make the experience more worth the price and better than a family just getting a gym membership that has a pool already. Just my honest opinion!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We went to a few swim schools and extremely disappointed but Goldfish made up for all of it. They treat your child as an individual. The other schools are like machines going through the steps but here you can see the difference! Even if you switch instructors the new instructors are updated and ready for your child's swim level. They are accommodate if you have a change in schedule and with two swimmers being able to come in the same time is so convient. They made it happen. Staff is always friends and inviting. Facility is clean and environment is inviting. My kids have developed skills quickly and safely. I can not say enough about Goldfish swim school but I think my 4 yr old daughter speaks more then I could. We went to Great wolf lodge and she was swimming in the pool, parents said your very good swimmer. She says thank you the Goldfish taught me. Lol.

We absolutely LOVE goldfish swim school. My daughter’s been going since she was about six months old and it has been incredible to see how much she’s grown to love the water. She recently moved up a class and a new activity initially scared her. Lucy, her teacher in the class, figured out a BRILLIANT way to modify the activity to still learn the skills but to allow my daughter to be fearless. We usually have Lucy or Amber as her teachers and adore them both. Goldfish has been so great in accommodating us too when we have to miss a class or if we have to change a class. The makeup tokens are good for a year so we’ve been able to use them as a great second activity during the week.

The instructors are wonderful. They meet my son where he is no matter how nervous he is or how long it takes him learn a skill. I love the ease and convenience of scheduling makeups online. My son likes to get there early to place with the toys they have out in the waiting area.

My son started at Goldfish last May, he started with hating getting his face wet. 2 months in and he was swimming, unassisted. He leveled up time and time again. They didn't draw it out, when he was ready they tested him and he moved up, whether it was 2 months or 3 weeks. I paused our membership through the winter, we've been back for a month and he still loves it.

I really can't say enough great things about Goldfish. It's definitely the school for us!

EDIT - and when you post something they don't like on here they will harass your wife every day till you change it. Not once reaching out to the actual person writing the review.
In an attempt to get gold fish to stop reaching out to my wife about MY review I removed the picture of my kid swimming and a male instructor, showing the back of his head being completely dry. NO identify markers other then short dry hair and an orange shirt.

UPDATE #2. Goldfish you have our number and have reached out to talk to me before in the past. If you want to resolve this you can reach out to me. I tried calling and got no answer.

Amazing Birthday Party Experience at Goldfish Swim School

We recently celebrated my daughter’s fourth birthday at Goldfish Swim School, and it was absolutely fantastic! The kids had a blast in the pool, and the best part was having the entire facility to ourselves. The staff was incredibly friendly, engaging with the kids, and making sure everyone had a great time. They took care of setting up the tables and even provided cupcakes for all the guests, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The setup process was smooth—they allowed us to come early to decorate, and the two-hour time frame was perfect for swimming and celebrating. Everything was well-organized, clean, and stress-free. We were so impressed with the experience that I’ll definitely be signing my child up for swim lessons here. Plus, we’ve officially started a new birthday tradition! Goldfish swim is great. The facility is clean and beautiful. My son had some prior swim instruction and quickly progressed through the levels and joined the swim force team. He has been very happy, calling it fun and saying how nice the instructors have been along the way (Lucy being a favorite). My only critique would be that they couldn’t just evaluate my son’s skills for class placement when we started - I had to guess (and probably a couple levels too low). It took a while to work through to the right level with evaluation during lessons. My daughter was new to swim and has been resistant to everything. The teachers have ALL been great and very patient with her. After we tried to switch class times recently she insisted switching back to Elliot again- he seems to have gotten through to her and she is finally showing some progress!

This is, by far, the best swim lessons facility we have ever attended! This is our third place trying lessons and my kids have never been happier! After a couple months doing lessons, we went to the pool for the first time during the summer and my five-year-old jumped right into the water and started swimming! My husband and I were incredibly surprised, and then noticed his brother was doing the same thing! We owe it all to Goldfish Swim School! Their staff, warm pool, beautifully clean facility and abundance of classes make me believe that we struck gold! We recommend them to all of our friends and family! Couldn’t be happier! ❤️

It’s good place to learn if you hv much time and more money. They charge 25 $ for one class, one class is for 30 minutes. in which they hv 4 students and one instructor . So every student hv just 7 mins for learning in one week… like 4:1 so I payed around 200$ for just 42mins,, may be no one agree with this review but it’s just what I see ..

My son and I have had nothing but great experiences with Goldfish! The instructors are thorough and make sure each parent and mini know what to do. The lessons are engaging and focus on safety while being fun. In a 30 minute period, so many skills are covered and the amount of time spent on each is just enough to keep the minis focused. The facility is always clean and organized with large changing rooms and lots of bathrooms! my son is 2 yrs old in mini 3. He is not very outgoing with new people but is really comfortable with sam. Today there was a different instructor and sam was the person walking around the pool and my son was very upset and wouldn’t get in the pool even with me sitting in there with him. Sam came over multiple times to try to make him comfortable and when he noticed it had been 15 minutes into the class and still hadn’t got in the water he took it upon himself to get in and work with him for the last half of the class and my son got in the pool and had a positive experience.
