GRIT is a true gem! The trainers are extremely professional, knowledgeable and invested in your personal goals. The equipment is very well maintained, the facility is welcoming and clean and the members are the cherry on top. Easily the best and most motivating gym community to be a part of!

I can't express enough positive things about GRIT. From the moment you join, the team makes an effort to get to know you and your fitness goals. The facility and equipment are clean, and there’s ample space to work out comfortably. The coaches are highly attentive to form and accommodating if you have any injuries or limitations. I'm thankful to have discovered GRIT and to be part of their community.

Never been a fan of gyms as I have never really been exposed to how to use the equipment or have I ever really identified with the culture many of gyms have. Grit is a shining exception, every single trainer there works with individuals to modify exercise to be right for their specific needs. My flexibility has improved, I am able to keep up with my highly physical job and I got off blood pressure medicine after my first few months. Cannot thank the entire team at Grit enough!

I've been training with the Grit team for a few weeks now, mainly with Wes, Patrick, and Suzanne. They did a great job and they know what they are doing. What I really appreciated about them was how cognizant they were about any injuries I had and how well they communicated with each other. For instance, Wes asked me about my past experience with the gym, focus areas, and injuries during my initial session, and when I later worked with Suzanne, she was already aware of this. It's great when people truly listen. The private sessions obviously are great, also the semi-private sessions follow a consistent routine based on the day, regardless of the time or trainer, which takes the guesswork out of hitting specific muscle groups. Overall, it's been a positive experience, and I've enjoyed my sessions with these folks.

This is an absolutely incredible gym! They have the cleanest and nicest facility I’ve seen in a personal training gym. I could not believe all the wonderful amenities and small personal touches (real, live plants?!) they have available for you while you were there. I love the attention to detail they give you in each work out ensuring you are using proper form, growing in strength and stamina, and doing so injury free. I was also blown way by their use of technology so I can easily see where my health is and what measures I can take to get better. You’ll forget how much you may dislike exercising with the personable, kind and hilarious staff of trainers.

I love GRIT! And I tell everyone about it! Everyone on the staff is super upbeat, extremely supportive, and wonderfully accommodating, which are important as you start your fitness journey or are just looking for a new gym. I’ve been a member since 2020, honestly their support, knowledge, and patience have been the reasons I keep coming back. It is super clean and well kept, with plenty of new equipment, and they play GREAT music to which elevate your mood and pump you up. They are always willing to accommodate and modify the workouts so that you are challenged exactly the way you need to be.The coaches and the varied workouts are the reason I am reaching my fitness goals. And we have a lot of fun too! One of my new favorite things is the new Nutrition coaching with Brianna. I am looking forward to continuing to hit my fitness goals with her help.

I love every opportunity I have to work out at GRIT! Mike P is extremely attentive to proper form and gets to know each of his client's specific needs and goals, guiding them to success. The gym is exceptionally clean and well organized and aesthetically pleasing as well. Whether you're just starting out on a fitness program, or you've been hitting the gym all your life, you can't go wrong with GRIT!!!

I am so happy I found this gym. I love that there is something here for everyone. Whether you are looking for a more private experience or group they are all amazing! No matter what class you choose to do here the coaches are extremely attentive and to each member and really push you to your specific goals. Each coach here has so much knowledge to help you reach your goals, I did in less than a year! I am here 5 days a week and it’s something I truly look forward to everyday! The results I received in less than a year are astounding. I am forever grateful to GRIT 🙏🏽😘

I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about GRIT Fitness. The facility is impeccable, the trainers are amazing, and the group they have built is so supportive and warm that’s it’s unbelievable. I look forward to each trip to GRIT. Whether it’s a group class or a semi private training, I know the trainers are there for me and they help me modify moves when needed. The trainers offer advice based on my personal goals as well. The GRIT Gang has truly become like a family and I love the energy in the building every time I step inside.

If you’re scared or intimidated of a gym setting, then Grit is the place for you! I have never been confident in a gym because I never knew what to do. The trainers at Grit are so encouraging and educational through every move. I now feel confident lifting weights and more.
Also, if you have an injury, then they can easily come up with modifications. I often have to ask for another move due to hip pain and they are so understanding every time.
Grit is an awesome community that I hope everyone can check out!

The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with! It’s also by far the cleanest and most well-kept facility of its kind in Louisville!!
From the moment I started going to Grit, I felt completely welcomed and comfortable. Before, I was never able to find a gym or get into an exercise routine that I found meaningful and worthwhile, but that is what I have at Grit. The trainers are all people that truly care about your health and well-being both in and outside of the gym, and over the past year I’ve grown to love and consider them all very dear friends.

This has been my favorite gym I have been a member of over the years. I joined around the time the pandemic began, and the staff has been fantastic despite the many challenges we all faced. The trainers are top-notch and the classes are constantly evolving and getting better. I am happy to be a member of this gym and highly recommend it to all, from beginning to expert. I truly love this gym—and I can guarantee you those words have never crossed my lips. Perfect balance of kindness and accountability—it’s a very motivating space for any fitness level, with great people. I mainly work with Mike, who is fantastic...a bit of a slow runner, though :) , but ALL of the trainers are engaged in your process and each of them make a personal effort to interact and nudge you along toward your goals. Can’t say enough positive things about what these guys have created with Grit. I’ve been hopeful about reaching my personal health and fitness goals before with other trainers and gyms, but I genuinely feel like I’ve finally found my place with Grit, and look forward to a new elevated and sustainable baseline of health and fitness for my future. Grit Fitness is a beautiful, modern training space with high end equipment. The trainers are very experienced and always give us a full body workout.. They are also very sociable so it’s always a fun atmosphere. Best part is since they are so knowledgeable, they do a great job of modifying to meet the needs of everyone (I’m pregnant so safety first is a must). The myzone technology they use is awesome- I’m able to see my heart rate zones, calories burned and track each workout from an app. I usually burn over 500 calories in a 50 minute session.
Plus I love the vibe of the space. Lots of natural light from all the windows, luxury bathrooms are a huge perk & love the decor in the lounge - I always enjoy hanging out for a bit after a killer workout!

Patrick, Wes and Mike are the best fitness trainers! Team training is offered six days per week and twice a day Monday through Thursday! Team training is a challenging but fun 50 workout that includes step by step instruction from one of the knowledgeable trainers. It’s a great way to start off each day!
