Long post:

I’m a believer. Nothing on this planet will get you into shape the way martial arts does. Several months ago I joined a legitimate, official, competitive Muay Thai gym with a legitimate, highly-trained instructor and legitimate, passionate, competitive fighters. I went to a few sessions, then came back later on and really began putting everything I have into it. I was looking for a holistic, body and mind transformation, and I’ve absolutely found it.

I’ve played sports my entire life, and this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. The endurance, the discipline, the technique required.. I’m still relatively new and I can already see that Muay Thai really is a beautiful art. I’m hooked. On days I’m not at the gym, I’m finding a bag somewhere or shadowboxing and conditioning at home. I’m watching film, watching my self, inviting critique from those more experienced, and making any adjustments necessary.

I’m in the best shape of my life. I’m still a little raw and have a long way to go, but I’m improving quickly, I’m down 20 pounds, eating better, and challenging my body in new ways every session. Our gym has an incredible and dedicated Kru, challenging and clear instructors, and demand the absolute most out of you. As with anything: If you work hard, it’ll change your life.

I had some reservations about posting fitness photos, but I felt it was necessary to give this testament its justice.

Summary: Do martial arts. Muay Thai if you can.

This is the most welcoming place I’ve ever stepped into. Tyler is definitely one of the nicest people I’ve come across and is always willing to help and give constructive criticism. I’ve made many new friends and acquaintances. I recommend LKA to everyone that I come across. 10/10 would recommend.

Since I’ve been going and training my life has changed for the better! I feel amazing just living my normal life, I’m healthier, more disciplined, and just overall happier. Plus whenever you join and start coming it becomes a second home. Everyone becomes great friends. You have the opportunity to meet all sorts of new people. The kru is amazing he really cares about the people that comes to the gym. He will make sure your techniques and basics are on point! Not only that but he knows pretty much every trick in the book. Long story short great time, great people, great gym! 10/10
