LEF is a great place to climb with many different options available (bouldering, auto belay, top rope, and lead climbing).
My main issue with the facility is the price and the decisions made to limit price options for people. When I first started going, there was an option to pay $50/month without rental gear included. You could optionally tack on an extra $25/month for rental gear to be included with that. I thought this was extremely reasonably priced. However, now the cost is $100/month, with rental gear included, and there are no other options available to those who cannot afford that price. As a result of this change, I will probably never climb there again after this month simply due to its high price and lack of alternative options for those who struggle to afford it. If you know someone who goes to UKY, the Johnson Center offers a cheap alternative climb ($10 for a guest pass), albeit with severely limited climbing options (just top rope available). Still, I had a lot of fun on my last visit.

It’s a nice gym but god forbid you didn’t reserve your time before hand to climb in an empty gym seems pretty freaking stupid. Probably fine for members but not for walk ins.
The climbing community is typically a very welcoming community. So, it’s definitely frustrating to be turned away

This facility is great, with a large space for everyone of all levels. The automatic belay is a nice feature and there are always new challenging boulder routes.

They offer flexible hours, good training for the novice and Demonstrated good safety practices. I take a scout group here each year.

Awesome place; not many climbing gyms, even in large metros, have such high walls, I really like the 50ft walls, feels extra accomplishing when reaching the top.

Took my young kids and toddler here and they had a great time! This is fun place for kids and adults. They also have a very nice gym, offer yoga classes, and climbing instruction.

This facility takes the cake, for sure. The staff are friendly, nice, and patient with the first timers. There is a wide variety of bouldering, autobelay, top rope, and lead climbing. I just happened to stroll in here while being away from my home town, based on recommendation of a family member. This place definitely does not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Our kids had an amazing time! Very knowledgeable staff and clean facilities. We did not have any issues of finding a rope for the kids to use. We will go back! :-)

A climbing gym that has something for all skill levels! The staff is friendly and always willing to help patrons climb better, smarter and offer advice on problems.
They have both boulder walls and route walls. The route walls can be top roped, lead climbed, or auto-belayed depending on which route it is.
They have showers and towels in the bathrooms for anyone to use.
For certain memberships they have a weight room and training room available for use. The training room is set up with a moon board, a lattice systems board, and they have like 3 or 4 different hang board options.
In the regular gym area they have tons of seating. Benches near the bouldering walls, and lots of tables and chairs in between the routes and the boulder walls. They also have a campus board (with different size ledges to grab on) and a hang board for anyone to use.
Don't have your own equipment? They rent everything from shoes, harness, rope, belay device.... anything you need to climb that day. They also have things for sale like snacks, some T-shirts, and sometimes rental shoes.

Great place, lots of climbing walls, laid back staff. Rental equipment was clean and well maintained. The only thing that would have made it better is if there were more climbing walls for beginners. Still, I had a ton of fun, and I can see myself wanting to go back at some point!
