Newport Fitness is a non traditional gym that offers Em's Fitcamp, High-Intensity Mix, Em's FitFest, Boxing Bootcamp and CrossFit Classes. These group classes are always led by an experienced trainers. Our hope is to make every person who walks in the door feel comfortable and welcome in our fitness family!

I thoroughly enjoyed the class at Newport on the Levy last Thursday and the community class on Saturday. If you are looking for a new gym in the downtown Cincinnati area, look no further! I have so much fun when I come to classes here. All the coaches are extremely knowledgeable and want you to do your best. The workouts change often and I am constantly challenged to try new things. Both the fitcamp side and the crossfit side have great workout set ups. The owner of this gym, Emily is so sweet and such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend coming to check this gym out- they offer free classes to try on Saturdays- bring a friend.

I have been doing Emβs Fitcamp and MPire Boxing Bootcamp during my 6 week challenge. On week 5 now and going to sign up to be a member. The challenge was just what I needed to get in a routine and see results (not too long of a duration and not too short). Every month the gym host a party or outing for everyone at the gym, which creates a great sense of community and helps bring people together. The FitCamp classes are a VERY good workout in 45 minutes and also very fun! Workouts are always different which is great, and you set the pace for yourself. The instructors are fantastic and give such a great energy to the classes that is welcoming, encouraging, motivating. They go over every exercise with modifications at the beginning so you never feel uncomfortable or unsure with an exercise. In the few weeks I've been to the classes, I can tell it's a great community and that the instructors care to know each person that is in their classes. I am definitely continuing my membership instead of my previous gym. Highly recommend trying them out!!

I am currently in the six week challenge at Newport Fitness and have been loving it. I am a former competitive athlete and also competed in a body building competition in the wellness division last October. I began to get bored of the monotony of the same old lifts 4-5 times per week and also was tired of scheduling my life around a specific diet. I pretty much took a 6 month hiatus from working out at all due to frustration and complete lack of motivation. I decided to try CrossFit to see if that would re-spark my joy and it definitely has. The combination of strength and conditioning and getting that all done in an hour is perfect. Everyday is different, and its a competition within yourself. The coaches are all extremely helpful and each new one I have met has gone out of their way to introduce themselves and make sure I felt comfortable asking questions. It is clear they are educated individuals and work to be sure you are doing movements correctly to avoid injury and ensure members are getting the most optimal workout. It doesn't hurt that the music is amazing too! I am excited to continue my journey and see how much I improve!

I tried the 6 week challenge program. It was a great experience that I would recommend. They are a wonderful community of people. At the end of the 6 week challenge, due to my new work schedule, I was unable to continue attending class. And as promised, because I met required attendance goals, my $150 deposit was refunded to me in a timely manner. This program is well worth the try. You have nothing to loose! Other then hopefully a few pounds!

Coming off maternity leave i couldnt wait to get back in the gym and the 6 week challenge was the perfect introduction post C-section. While known as a crossfit gym, they also offer Em's Fitcamp, which offers a great alternative for those looking for something similar, but not quite ready to take the plunge. The classes include an extensive warm-up in addition to a fun atmosphere. I highly recommend either or both!!!!!

My wife and I saw theyβre free Saturday class and decided to try it out. We fell in-love with the experience instantly. They require you to attend 9 beginners classes if you have never tried CrossFit and this was really ideal for us to learn moves, form and slow climb into understanding what CrossFit is all about. All of the instructors were great and helpful along with other members in being patient and flexible with our learning curve. We tried the 6-week challenge and it too was a great idea to motivate us and get us into the CrossFit lifestyle.
