I can’t recommend Lucas highly enough!
Before I started working with him, I was working out consistently but not seeing the progress I wanted to see.
Since working with Lucas, I’ve more than doubled the weight I can handle in my barbell back squats, I can actually see my triceps now, and for the first time in my life I can bench press more than just the bar (big deal for me as a woman).
His knowledge and empathy make him a fantastic coach for anyone but especially for people like me—busy professionals who love the gym but don’t have the time or knowledge to plan the best program to get on track with our goals efficiently.
Training might feel like an indulgent expense, but I can’t stress enough how instrumental working with Lucas has been for me when it comes to having fun at the gym, making progress, and building a healthier mindset and habits for long-term success!

I have been with Luke since July of 2023 and I couldn't be happier. He is patient, kind and incredibly supportive. My life has been a bit of a rollercoaster during the time he's been my coach and he's given me the flexibility and support I've needed, every step of the way. I don't like working out but with Luke as a coach, I am actually starting to look forward to it! I came to him post surgery and with existing chronic back issues that had me in constant pain. Since starting with him, my back pain has reduced by 90% and is now a rare occurrence. I had a terrible ankle sprain in November and he was able to incorporate some PT for my ankle and adjust my workouts to accommodate the injury. I'm noticing such improvement in my strength and flexibility every week.

Absolutely loved my experience with Luke as my Personal Trainer! Not only are the 1-on-1 coaching sessions perfect but the TrueCoach workouts
& reminders afterwards are a game changer. He uses a wholistic approach to taking care and strengthening the body. He took account of previous injuries/ailments and instantly implemented a plan to strengthen them. He makes the workouts fun and engaging while educating you during the process, he is an industry leading professional! I’m proud to have Luke in my corner! 10/10 recommend! 💪

Luke provides a next level type of one on one service. He takes the time to listen to your personal needs and structures programming to specifically match. I have always enjoyed the outdoors and backpacking but have struggled with knee and ankle issues as I’ve gotten older. Luke helped me overcome those ailments and I successfully completed a distance backpacking trip without the concerns of my previous trips! Highly recommend!

Recently opted for online training w/ Luke and Next Step Fitness to prepare for my first Tough Mudder. I was blown away by the amount of thought and effort he put in to making a plan that was challenging, fresh, and ultimately relevant to helping me achieve my goals. He always made himself available whenever I had questions about certain activities on my program and always gave excellent feedback during our weekly check-ins. After completing his program, I felt stronger, faster and healthier than I have in a long time - plus I finished the Mudder with NO INJURIES. As a physical therapist, its really refreshing to see someone who takes the time to understand his clients' goals and has the aptitude to scale their workouts appropriately to achieve those goals, safely. Aside from his obvious expertise, Luke is just a cool dude to kick it with while you're working out. I would 100% recommend Luke for all your fitness wants and needs.

Luke is very friendly and personable! I'm utilizing his online coaching and programming to help me prepare for a Tough Mudder. He provides a good variety of exercises and progressions which helps me diversify my workouts. After just a few weeks, I could see and feel a difference in my strength and endurance. With the online coaching, he will review what you did and provide feedback as well to guide you. Highly recommend!!

Lucas has been great to work with! I started training with Lucas while dealing with a nagging low back injury. He was knowledgeable, and built a workout plan for me to strengthen my low back. My pain level has decreased. He is motivating, flexible and encourages movement as medicine. Highly recommend!

It's difficult to find a good anything let alone a trainer who you feel confident will help you reach your goals. Not only do feel comfortable but I also I've made a new friend. When I started with Luke I had back problems due to my work requiring me to sit all day. He promptly took this into account with my workouts and it has been a life saver. After the first couple weeks I started to feel the results in my everyday life, and by the 4-5 week mark the daily pain had completely gone away. Along with this his workouts have allowed me to greatly improve in my other fitness goals that I had from the first day. His focus on form and background in physical therapy allow me to feel good about my workouts and ensure that I'll not have any aches and pains in the future. Overall Luke has been great and I couldn't have asked for better!

Luke is very intuitive, asks lots of questions and tailors my workouts to my skill level. I've had several injuries over the last year and Luke was able to help me work through them with specific exercises to strengthen the areas around my injuries, all the while cognizant of my abilities and long-term goals. I started working with Luke while recovering from rotator cuff repair surgery last summer. I did pt until that ran out. Started this past January with Luke to continue with not only my shoulder recovery but my overall physical limitations- being 64 years old and working for hours sitting at a desk. Luke has me on the right track to getting better. He goes into detail about each exercise, the muscles involved and the goal of doing that exercise. My workouts were planned out in advance. At my age level of non-exercising- he knew to take it easy initially until I got into a higher gear. I recommend Luke as a personal trainer.
