Don’t recommend going here!!! They will charge your card continuously even after canceling your membership. Then they won’t call or contact you and send it to the debt collector. I called multiple times and never got an answer or a call back. This facility is sketchy and money hungry. You’re better off going to any other gym than here.

I love the facility and don't mind that sometimes things aren't working properly however, recently their membership rates have gone up exponentially (I've been told by staff there's a new owner). My husband and I have paid annually for the last 2 years and have questions about their new rates. I've left voicemails, inquired at the front desk, even left my name and phone number written on paper to have the office manager call me ...crickets. Since then, our memberships have expired and we're looking into different gyms. Unfortunate.

I joined this gym in 2022. When I signed the contract I was informed if I cancelled in the first year there would be a penalty. I finally cancelled my membership this year. They had increased the monthly price without informing me. And I didn't go to the gym that often as my husband had bought almost all the equipment I used there in our garage. I emailed them and told them to cancel. I then blocked my bank account so they could not charge me. I got a text message saying they were unable to charge my card. I emailed them again stating I wanted my membership cancelled. I also responded to the text to cancel my account. I later received an email saying I owed all sorts of extra money because of "fees" I again asked to cancel my membership, that I had asked, and informed multiple times I no longer wanted a membership with them. This was back in February. Here we are now in June and I just received a collection notice. Really!!! For 193.79. I have requested many times to cancel in multiple ways. So, be aware. Even after the year, even after asking to cancel, even after raising the prices with no notice. They will continue to come after more money. Members beware.A

First off, I was treated like an absolute idiot by one of the front desk staff for not knowing how to use the tanning bed screen system where you set your time and choose the bed yourself. It was maybe my third time going, the first two times another employee set the bed for me, so I had no idea. She gives me a dirty look and asks “are you not in the system?”…..ummm, yes here is my platinum card, why would I not be in the system? Then rudely proceeds to vaguely explain what to do on the screen. The attitude was uncalled for, I even said “thank you so much!” and got another dirty look in return.
I put myself in a different bed that time, since the first two times by the staff I was put in room 4, where the top glass has a HUGE crack in it to where you can even touch the actual bulbs. 🤔 and the glass is hanging down on you! The fan in the room didn’t work and was just sitting there collecting dust. I also don’t like how they are trusting members to clean the tanning beds after use. I have been a gym manager at another gym, and it was expected of staff to properly and thoroughly clean the tanning beds immediately after a member was finished. This seems like the appropriate thing to do.
I don’t know why anyone would go here with the filthy facility, leaks, bathrooms that constantly smell, mold/mildew issues, extremely poor customer service, and an open gym schedule that can’t be abided by.

If they get you to do the Term Agreement Automatic Renewal Program, they essentially lock you into 12 months of payment. This on the surface was not the problem to me as I already planned around the amount this would mean, the issue was when they increased the monthly payment just a few months in - meaning they are now charging you more than the original contract signed and agreed upon amount while simultaneously still locking you into paying a $10 per month fee if you cancel before the 12 month period is over even though they increased the price AFTER signing the original agreement. Not cool.

Great gym! PAC has the feel of a small town gym that has not been corrupted by corporate America. It has all that a person needs to stay fit, get strong and everything else. It has a dry and wet sauna, hot tub, Olympic pool and a smaller pool as well. Has a basketball court that can be reserved. 24-hour access makes it easy to accommodate different schedules. My only complain is that there needs to be 24-hour access to the sauna, pool and hot tub for adults. I know it has to do with insurance/liability, but have people sign a waiver or something. Otherwise, it would be a 5-star gym!

I have been a member of the PAC for several years now and it's different than any other gym I've ever experienced! It's a huge facility and has way more features that I utilize but it has something for everybody. It feels like a family/community there and everybody is friendly. I love playing racquetball with my guys at the PAC but also enjoy lifting weights there too. No matter if you are a beginner or elite in your fitness journey, I definitely recommend the Paducah Athletic Club if you are looking for a good gym to join!

Update:. They have recently added on a game room that includes a few video games and a an air hockey table for the kids. Ive been coming here for years. It's always clean and they take good are of their members. They actually know your name and char with you as well. Its the only place I'll go to period. The pac continues to update and add to the expansive sea of weights and machines. Nice place!

This place is a total scam!! The PAC owners Sent a letter basically saying that I needed to pay for the past three plus several months after I know I canceled my membership with them. I didn’t save my receipt because I thought I was dealing with owners who have integrity, hell no they do not have a centimeter of that. They never sent anything during the past three years to say that my account was kept active after me and another person went to cancel my membership in 2019. They waited out the time to collect more money just before the holidays. I understand times are hard but these people are going to carry a lot in their conscious for scamming people. They've got a predatory company helping them run the place, that prides themselves in sending people to collections. 4 years after i canceled my account they tried making me pay $2700 dollars because they've misplaced my papers that i signed when I ended my membership. I'm not sure what kind of financial trouble the owners are in but it must be bad because they're desperate with their newest cash grab. After doing a quick bit of research i found that myself and quite a lot of others share the same experience with them. Just be careful with anything you do with them and make sure to keep track of all paperwork. They blocked me from their facebook shortly after so it kind of makes you wonder what kind of scam they're trying to run.

If I could give them negative stars that’s what I would do. The owner is TERRIBLE when it comes to doing business. When I originally went to sign up he gave me the option of several different packages and of course I picked one and signed all the paperwork paid for my key fob and the little plastic things that go on your keychain. I found out after the fact that the rock climbing wall and batting cages that were offered in the package were no longer available, of course they waited until after I paid all of that money for those things before telling me that. So then we tried to continue going anyway since I had already paid for it and couldn’t ever get in to do the workouts we needed because of all the signs they had for times that other people were using the gym I’m also paying for. I tried to go cancel my membership and the owner was all fine and good with it until he wanted my key fob and keychain cards that I paid for. I said okay I’ll get them if you’re going to give my money back for them because I paid for those. He said no immediately shut the computer back off threw his hand up at me shook his head and said have a nice day. I said well you need to stop charging my card because I’m canceling my membership and he again said have a nice day and threw his hand up and shook his head. So not only is he trying to make me return the items I paid for and not trying to return the money I spent to pay for them but he’s also refusing to let me cancel my membership! What kind of business is this? A JOKE! He is a disrespectful rude human being and shame on him for running his business so poorly! Lying and false advertisement all over Paducah about the rock wall he doesn’t have. Couldn’t even tell us he doesn’t have those things before offering them as an option before we signed up. I mean come on. It’s absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT GO HERE!

Paducah Athletic Club has lost my business forever. I sent a cancellation notice by mail on April 1 (I was told to do that since they had to close the doors during the pandemic) and come to find out today from the manager, they had not actually cancelled my membership but “frozen it for three times instead of the two they were supposed to do.” He acted as if I should be grateful for that. Unfortunately I thought they had received my letter and cancelled me, but in July they charged me again. I went in and spoke to a few people and they had me fill out a cancellation form, and they asked me to call and talk to a manager. I tried multiple times and never got a manager. Then about a week later, I called the gym to confirm that I will be cancelled and refunded, but they said they lost my cancellation form and would call me in 1 hour - they did not call. Today, I got a second charge from PAC (I assume for August). I called immediately and asked for a manager. I told him the situation, and he beat around the bush trying to get me to understand that they were making upgrades and some people are happy with that and that “those people let them keep their money”, some people decided to start coming in again, and I’m thinking what does this have to do with the fact that I cancelled in April and am still being charged...I said “Sir, I am pregnant and can’t come in to workout and I thought I had cancelled in April but am still being charged. Can you help me with the refunds I’m owed because I feel like you are just beating around the bush and not trying to help me with my specific situation” and to that he replied, “Well when you have the baby you can come back in and workout again.” So this whole time he is not trying to help rectify this situation where they have been negligent for over a month, and this whole time I thought I had cancelled, I was actually just frozen. So I asked him, “Are you going to cancel my membership like I’ve asked and refund me or do I need to take this up with my credit card company and leave a review for you guys?” And he says “Now we are trying to work with you, and you are not working with us so now you’re going to slander us?” I am appalled at how my situation has been handled by a MANAGER of this club. As a business owner myself, I cannot imagine treating a customer like this and basically trying to coerce them to keep a membership that they had cancelled FOUR months ago, and then to think he knows my life and that I can just “come back in after I have the baby”.... THE AUDACITY. How dare he assume or comment on that - not to mention I live over an hour away now. I’m sickened and hurt at how I have been treated today on the phone, and as a business owner, I want every single customer to walk away from our interactions happy and satisfied and I do everything in my power to make that happen. PAC did not do this for me. I have a REASONABLE request and problem that has been taking way too long to be resolved. This is the final nail in the coffin, and I hope no one else has to be treated the way this person treated me today. I understand you want your business to stay afloat during the pandemic, I as well! But this is not how you keep customers happy or keep customers at all.

Paducah Athletic Club or the PAC as we like to call it round here is a great place to workout or catch a pick-up game of basketball! Newly renovated with a great variety of exercise equipment and free weights for the muscle head or beach body builder in you! Gym membership is very reasonably priced and lots of room for large gatherings or small groups. Open late during the week for folks that work during the day. They do open early though for those folks that want to catch a workout in the morning before work. Full service gym. Mrs. Wilma, the Owner, and her Team will treat you right down at the PAC.

Not happy with this gym at all , I tried to cancel my membership but the told me l had to come down there and bring my pass , but I couldn’t get there then one health issue after another and close to 6 months went by So my husband took me to cancel I had just had surgery the week before but I was determined not to pay another month for something I couldn’t use the young lady said I had to pay another month and there would be no other charges because I had been a member for so long My husband checks our account this morning and sees PAC took out 64.00 when I call to ask why I got the run a round , then I was told it was a yearly fee when I asked why would I pay for a yearly fee to something I canceled. In the end I was told it didn’t matter what the employees said when I have been trying to cancel this membership and he can collect on anything within 30 days of cancellation. This is so wrong

My husband and I joined especially for the pool. We love swimming but the water is too cold. I have asthma and the cold water makes it hard for me to breath. There is a smaller pool which is warmer but the smaller pool is not good for swimmimg laps. It is often full of people walking in the pool or just standing around talking. Children's parties are also in the small pool. My husband and I both are just miserable trying to swim there. We have been told the swim team needs the water cooler. I guess the swim team is more important than everyone else. We will not renew our membership.

This is the first gym I've ever been a member of, but so far I enjoy my experiences. Would give it 5 stars, but the cellular reception is absolutely terrible and so is the wifi that they offer. This is a tremendous problem if you are just starting like me and follow how-to videos online. In hindsight, if I had known how terrible the cellular and wifi was, I would have chosen a gym closer to town.
