This was easily my favorite planet fitness until they updated it a few weeks ago. It is now ruined for me. The machines are crammed in, and it feels totally cluttered now. Its a shame because it was so nice before. There are four rowing machines that sit next to each other and are unusable if someone is using the one next to you. I am switching my home club to Ft Wright. It's also not ideal that they're the only one in the area that isn't back to full 24 hours.

I love PF but unfortunately we don't have one down the highway where I live in Maysville(41056) and I just can't do the drive up here like that.

It would be amazing if Maysville had a PF. We have places for one and PF would make bank off tanning/sunless tanning alone(all we have is Suntan City) as well as the skincare lights, but I'd just love a place I can have a good workout at again and then hit up a hydromassage!

Many employees behind the desk, yet seems like the GM does most of the work when he is there. Greeting of guests seems to be a task to check off the list and not genuine. The facility is relatively clean. Takes several days to change out burnt tanning bulbs. I’ve been to other locations that are friendlier, personable and maintained better.

Still a great place, still annoyed at the decision to be "24/5" while others remain. 24/7...jordan the club manager is a cool dude, prior employee zack who was on nights was awesome. Current fella. Jacob, works his tail off. Place is always spotless, he's good people, PF needs more like Jacob.

Prior review: Was a great place (would be 5 stars!) to go until its now no longer 24/7, with no logical reason for it to change. My daughter was coming with as my guest, because of it being nearly empty for late nights. Now its too busy other than the monday to Thursday 24hrs timeframe. The reason I joined this gym (blackcard) was for my conviennce of being able to go at anytime. I have yet to find out whom I need to contact to voice mine (and numerous others who feel the same way) extreme displeasure about this change.

Finally, a PF worth a positive review.
The staff are competent and present. This is on the small side, but by all means not THE smallest planet fitness I've visited.

This location has for me not once set off the stupid alarm so at the least the staff are reasonable enough.

Most of the treadmills USB ports don't work and the cooler could have more variety.
Overall good job.

I’ve worked out my whole life and belonged to several gyms. This place is really good at being just ok. It does not have a free weight bench or squat rack. There are signs around discouraging grunting and dropping weights- So no Olympic lifts essentially. For $12/month it’s not bad.

so, planet fitness has cleaning stuff for ur stations. now with covid.. those sprays arent very affective ofc but i mean better than not wiping anything. ive noticed some people dont clean theirs.. they just get up and walk away. now other people do clean theirs including me. i got COVID for going there and im assuming from people not cleaning their things and then germs were spreading. also absolutely nobody wears their mask in there which for workouts and stuff i get especially if theyre intense, BUT if ur walking around or whatever i personally think unless u have the vaccine u put it back up since u are most likely going to walk close to multiple people if not a bunch. it isnt too hard. i wear my mask during my workouts and i now clean my stuff before, after, use their hand sanitizer, and when i go home i try not touching anything or my face until i get home to wash my hands super well. i do not want to get covid again because it was terrible and you felt so miserable for a little bit so im doing wtv i can to stay safe when i go there and i think anyone else should to until covid gets a little bit more better. i love the staff though. theyre nice and welcoming.
