I have been trying to cancel my membership for over 2 yrs have not been to a planet fitness in over 2 yrs because I became a truck driver. They won’t cancel I have to bring a letter or mail letter in to Georgetown in order to get it cancelled. When asked to speak to manager was told not available I said ok. Then I asked for corporate number she then proceeds to tell me to find it online after that she tells me there are different franchise which I said that is why I am asking for the corporate number. Then to get hung up on. Then when calling back no one answers

Finally found # called corporate to help they guided me thru how to cancel online without making the payment since I haven’t been to planet fitness since 2023. So I will be filling a complaint with corporate on Monday since complaint hotline is down. The point of customer service is to try and help someone not make it difficult. I worked in place when I couldn’t help or management couldn’t we gave out a corporate number and that is what I was asking for.

Just became a member mostly because my daughter has been coming here forever! They do have a huge variety of equipment and everything is always well maintained! Gym is always clean and the tanning beds are not bad considering how cheap the membership is! They also offer massage chairs and a sauna!!

I had a really awesome experience today at planet fitness. I canceled my membership about a month ago because I have been dealing with an injury for a while and I just got really discouraged. I had surgery for the injury, but I still just felt like it was never gonna get better and I was never gonna be able to work out like I did. But now that I’m healing from surgery and feeling like I may be able to get back to normal I wanted to restart my membership because I do enjoy working out there. I went in because I was unsure if I signed up online if I’d have to pay the annual membership again that I just paid in January I talked to Jenna at the front desk and she was able to help me Get the fee waived and I was so appreciative. It was such a great customer service experience and I just couldn’t recommend this planet fitness enough and just want to give Jenna a lot of praise for making this an easy experience for me, especially considering all the trauma and emotions around this injury. I just really appreciated her understanding and her being able to
L me with that and I would say planet fitness is definitely worth the membership fee and I really appreciate that they value and take care of their customers.

In my last three visits, there was no one at the counter when I tried to use the Hydromassage beds. It was NOT the fault of the young lady on duty. She was working extremely hard vacuuming & cleaning equipment. I believe she was the only one on duty. She needs help ... there should be someone behind the counter at all times! I’ve been to many of the Planet Fitness locations around central Kentucky and this one is by far the best. Josh and Amanda keep it very clean and the employees create a professional but very personable and genuinely friendly atmosphere. If I ever have a question, need to purchase something or check in to tan the employees are always quick to help. Showers and bathroom are ALWAYS extremely clean! It’s been my home gym for nearly two years and I’d never consider changing. Love the people here!

I use PF Georgetown whenever I come home to visit my family for two weeks biannually. I’m a big gym goer and have been for two decades, lifting at gyms across the country and many many different PFs when I travel and this PF is hands down the best one. The GM Josh is the friendliest, most helpful gym GM I’ve probably ever been around, I literally look forward to coming home to speak with him there.

The gym is always clean and the members and staff very respectful, helpful and definitely friendly. It doesn’t get crazy crowded like the ones in Lexington. If you’re traveling or just need a daily gym in this area, well this gym rat couldn’t recommend a better place in Georgetown and I’ve been to all the gyms here. You’ll walk out with a smile every time.

Very clean place! But went to enjoy my massage time in the Black Card area and was disrupted by some of the staff and their friends being extremely loud and using foul language over and over. I drive 45 minutes to get to Georgetown. I tried to tan twice in the same bed and once in a different one. Neither bed would come on. I could here beds kicking on for others. Maybe my money and I aren't welcome here anymore. Kinda feels like that. I wasted so much time that I didn't have to workout. Staff apologized but this experience has left me wondering why I am paying for this membership.

My home gym is in Lexington, but they don't stay open 24/7 anymore, but this place does! I work every morning at 5 and my routine has always been gym before work and when lex changed their schedule, I wasn't sure what I would do, but realized there was a PF in Georgetown. The young man helped me change my home gym and never forget to greet me every morning and even wishes me a good day when I leave. Best people, great gym!

Seems like a good place to work out. I wish that there were more cleaning stations; after using one of the machines, it feels like I have to walk a mile to get a spray and paper towels (like there needs to be another cleaning station in the middle). And I feel like the "Black Card" is a bit too much. I think $20 would be an okay price. Lastly, you have to sign up using the app, but you have to come to Planet Fitness to cancel - seems kinda dumb. So I'm leaving 4 out of 5 stars here.

This has by far been the nicest Planet Fitness I have been to on our 6 month road trip. the Showers were positioned well, with hangers, however I would love more than one changing room, when I was finished showering someone was in the changing room so I was kind of stuck. Love the 3 rows of treadmills, the place was extremely clean and staff were busy cleaning at all times. I was a little confused with the weights, they didn't have the numbers on of what weight they are on the actual rack, which is pretty helpful.

This is one of only a few that is still open 24/7!! That's a big plus for me. The employees are a little stand offish and don't go out of their way to be very nice. They go through the motions without a smile, hi, how are you, say thank you or anything extra to make you feel welcome. They've never caused any problems for me, but they could use some cheering up.
Without me and all of the other members paying our monthly membership dues, the staff wouldn't be getting a salary. However, there is 1 male employee that works the overnight shift that is very friendly and super nice.

The gym is clean, very well organized and there are towel dispensers right outside of the locker rooms. Paper towels aren't anywhere near other PF locker rooms. There is no paper towel dispenser in the stand-up tanning bed room. I needed to clean off the foot bed last night so I could stand without shoes and had to grab some from the lie down tanning room.
1 big deal for me is the showers. There IS NO WATER PTESSURE!!! I have an extremely hard time getting soap out of my short hair and it's impossible to rinse the soap off your body!!
If you fix the water pressure and cheer up the staff, you'll get a 5 star for sure!!

My husband and I travel alot for business and usually the locker rooms and showers are quite clean however this facility was by far the most digustingly kept that I have ever experienced. All 3 showers on both female and male sides we're very dirty. They assured me that they were being checked regularly but I said that it was impossible because they would be alot cleaner if that we're the case. When questioned, a female attendant said they had no one to clean the showers until next week. I was very surperised by this. It's so not acceptable, especially since covid. The showers should be immaculate.

I love PF so much!! I am in my late 30s and until January 2023 I had never been in a gym before. From the moment I walked in that first day, I immediately felt welcome. Okay so there's a reason why there's so many memes hating on this place. When you sign up there's a 50 + dollar fee, so if you go to a gym that's 15 a month it will take an entire 10 months for the price to overtake Planet Fitness. There's also annual fees. Their policy requires you to go in person to cancel and go through an annoying paperwork process. Also they want two weeks advance notice to stop it.

So when you find a better gym (which is a matter of walking into any other gym) you will probably still pay for the next month. Not only is it not cheap, it is the worst quality gym, being restrictive in what exercises you can do. At one point they didn't even have a pull-up bar. There are no free weight adjustable barbells (although personally I prefer a Smith machine), and at one point they used to not even have a pull-up bar.

The only worse gym is the YMCA due to the insane crowd there. But that gym at least has a pool. Seriously, if you think you are saving money at planet fitness do the math again. Divide the annual fees up into months and see the true cost. Just cough up the money for a better gym where the people who work out there are more knowledgeable and they don't try to milk extra money out of you with a 20 page contract

Gotta love when a gym is located on Fitness Path. I liked the layout of the gym floor. The machines were easy to find and I didn't need to wait for anything. There are plenty of bands and mats which can be lacking at other locations.
The reason for my poor rating is because of the spa. I requested a hydromassage bed. I was not told that they don't have them, I was just booked on a lounger. I was told that they only allow 7mins. Every other location in the Planet Fitness network in the United States it's a minimum of 10mins but this one only allows 7mins?? The main reason I use the hydromassage beds is because I have had knee surgery and today was cardio day. I need to lay on my stomach to allow the bed to reach my knee which hurt my back and I felt like an interveted turtle trying to get out of the bed.

Very dissatisfied with customer support from this planet fitness. I went to my gym to cancel my membership as I have found a better gym. The employee assured me that my membership was canceled and I went on my way. A month and a half later I discover my bank account to have been over drawn as planet fitness had not canceled my membership as requested. When I questioned the staff about this this told me that they knew I came in that day but the staff member helping did not have me sign a form to cancel as they were supposed to. For this employees mistake I am now paying the membership I did not want and also bank fees. The staff then assure me that there is no way I would get a refund even if requested which they refused to do repeatedly. I am very disappointed. I will never use another planet fitness location nor recommend to anyone. A billion dollar company that refuses to refund a young woman a months worth of payment that was taken from her on the behalf of there employees mistake is not somewhere I would ever recommend.

Great facility. Great value. Fair staff.
But I have complaints:
1) Bad WiFi. Often fails to establish an internet connection.
2) They don’t enforce PF Dress Code or Code of Conduct.
3) I recently had a cut on my hand and asked staff at the desk for a first aid kit, but they didn’t even have a band-aid. What facility doesn’t have a first aid kit handy?
4) Floors are not adequately clean in the stretching area, and I get dirt on my hands when I do my stretching. Taking a couple extra minutes to vacuum where the floor meets the wall would greatly improve that.

I was out that's location one week ago and I am remiss and posting my review. I have been very busy but I wanted to take a moment to thank the manager Brook who was just wonderful. I have been to over 30 locations in this chain and there is no doubt this is the best of them all. The cleanest and most unique in its design and Brooke's professionalism should be the standard for the rest of the company.
