While the gym facilities are satisfactory, the customer service at night is unacceptable. I have been waiting for approximately 30 minutes to see a staff member so that I may utilize the hydro chair. This situation is highly inconvenient and should be addressed.

Nothing is perfect, customer service-wise; some of the staff and management can be a bit standoffish, dare I say stuck up. However, the ones who aren't are very friendly, even helpful, and if they aren't helping you out, you may see them working out right next to you. Some will even engage in friendly conversation, which is nice and a little break in the workout. Now, the place is very clean; we all do our part, even the staff, as you will see them restocking the paper towels and cleaning spray, as well as cleaning the locker rooms and floors. Depending on when you go, it could be hard to find a machine or very easy. I always recommend going in at 12 in the morning until about 6 am. All in all, it's a very good place to get a workout.

The staff here isn’t very knowledgeable about their policies and what’s going on.. they don’t have the answer to simple questions and just tell you to email the home office.. oh yeah and good lock canceling your membership! It’s like a gang, once you’re in your in for life! Lbs, I’m still paying for a membership that I canceled back in October of 2023! So that’s Awesome!!!! 😒

It's under construction and doesn't specify that the showers and changing area is under construction. They have bathrooms outside of the place. Not sure what they do have besides exercise equipment. I left once learning that. Every place needs to remodel or build but a heads up on the website would help others know before they go if they need those amenities with their black card thats supposed to be used at any other location.

This remodeling is a joke! I have had two homes built and they were faster than this. Why don't you close the location and get the work done four times faster? And who in their right mind thought of using a porta-potty as a locker room? There is not a lock on the door to the outside! The commodes desperately needed attention. Those are what you use for outdoor weddings! Do I carry my gym bag around with me from machine to machine? You showed your lack of knowledge and just plain 'ol good sense in this situation. I would expect country bumpkins who didn’t know better at the YMCA, but not at a national chain.

This is actually a great place to workout except the HYGIENE here. The staff at this gym is great, informative and helpful. The issue here is the nasty inconsiderate patrons that were never taught to clean up after themselves. They use the equipment drip sweat all over it and just move on to the next and do this over and over again... The tanning beds are even worse. So just know If you go to this gym expect to wipe down your machine before you use it. And ALWAYS BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS AND WIPE IT DOWN WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED USING IT!!!!

Planet Fitness has changed my life as an over the road long haul truck driver. I’ve lost over 70lbs with diet and exercise and much of that time was spent working out at Planet Fitness locations I find while working on the road. The Black Card membership is hands down the best value possible for any gym rat who travels for work. Planet Fitness gyms are always clean and always have friendly staff members. I really love the fact that most gyms are open 24/7 and it makes it super easy to get a workout even when I’m working night shift or on early mornings.

The girls at the desk are very childish and they try to entertain childish conversations with you and when you don't give them the attention they are seeking they get upset with you. Theres one girl in particular who I have NEVER had a good interaction with not once and I have been going to this gym since 2021. It's a shame you can't have a good gym experience because of the childish females they choose to hire. One time I had an employee follow me through the gym and harass me. She also knocked on my door when I was tanning and took off running when i opened the door. It's some very PETTY female employees at the hopkinsville KY planet fitness. It makes no sense to me, if you don't like your job and dealing with the public then go get a different job. Being rude and obnoxious to people who PAY for their membership is not cute and it's getting old . There was another time the girl at the desk literally took the door sign from me and held it away from me and said you have to show me your eye wear which I had on me and showed her ...they act like they have aome kind of power over you. This is a very childish mindset. There was another time the PF employee lied in the "notes" on my account.

Haven't been in a few years, things have been moved around and check in has changed. I was able to check in from my phone as well as my guest quickly and easily and when looking for things that used to be there, Zach was extremely helpful in showing me the machines and explaining what/how to work everything.

I was going to start a plan for my work wellness plan and they told me it would be 10 dollars to join the classic membership with my credit card and bank account information they wanted they were going to charge me $60 for

Worse place ever. I paid membership fee and start up fee. Then following a few weeks later has a problem with them charging me money again. Now 2 months later I am charges the annual fee for over 50.00 when called they they said how they do it so I said we are cancelling they said come in person and cancel but you won't get your money back. Just warning people keep an eye on what they charge you. I am cancelling with them. Not saying they are all this way but the one by me is.

I have visited 3 planet fitness around me, and so far so good. They are very clean and staffed with friendly people. My favorite locations are Hopkinsville and Ft. Campbell. Due to more spacious workout area. Ft. Campbell has more machines, to where as Hopkinsville could use a few more. Overall, this is a great place to come and workout.

The guy at the front desk said (as he unchecks 2 months off so l I have to do is give him $50. I said If you can easily uncheck 2 months you can easily uncheck the Full amount that I was charged after I left and instead of being like Oops he hasn't attended since before owing $60 well give him back his money.

The white guy guy that I actually told to cancel membership was the one want that told me oops.

Facility is really nice! Staff is good. However, one of the trainers is garbage. (The bald guy) He will set people up on a machine and walk away and talk to other people for 15+ minutes leaving his people all alone. He will take weights off the smith machine while you are using it. Overall poor gym etiquette and not present as a trainer. I would recommend someone else. (I am literally watching his trainee look for him as I am typing this)

Planet Fitness is the best gym in Hopkinsville, as well as the biggest, for relatively cheap. 10$ a month gives you access to every exercise/workout machine in it. The 22$ package gives you that same access, but includes hydromassage beds, massage chairs, tanning beds, and my favorite, you can bring a friend as a guest to work out with you, because most people don't like working out alone. This place is open 7 days a week but is only open 24 hours on 5 of the nights. They close early on Friday, and Saturday. Still, this is an amazing place with virtually no restraints to working out, since they have just about every machine you could ever think of.

I absolutely love this gym. I've tried several through the years and this one offers the cleanest equipment, the friendliest staff, and the widest variety of workouts of any other gym I've joined. To anyone looking for a gym that's not full of body builders and super judgmental people, I highly recommend this place. They have something for everyone and they always make everyone feel welcome. No one is ever made fun of or made to feel inferior due to their abilities or choice of workouts and the staff is always there to help. They also have tanning beds and hydromassage beds for people interested in those. To make everything better for the financially conscious person, their memberships start at $10 a month and for just $25 per month you get everything they offer as well as loads of discounts on everything from drinks to hotels and vacations and even Reebok products. It's definitely worth the very small cost of the membership.
