Personally,ive been a member of planetfitness since 2014"probaly the only one left who started when it opened.i give it a 5 star rating ..but this also will come from something negative..my dis''. is this..Nicholasville road has a free style weight bench..and when I heard this my thoughts was this ..why we at bryanstation don't have the privilege of having one ..that's my negative..The postive is i care about our staff here.ive seen them come and go over the year's never had an issue.with rude people always clean always proper with costumers in trying to satisfy everyone..we all know the public can be fictitious at times and difficult to work with..but again bryanstation planetfitness is a 5 star gym..thank for reading and working on that free weight bench ✌️✌️

Every single time I come here there’s not one day where the workers are actually doing there job. Very entitled and rude. I was walking on the treadmill and there was 20 min to close the worker came over and told me they were about to close and I said ok I thought they were gonna let everyone know but that’s not the case they stood behind me the whole time.i see lots of comments talking about the rude workers, you guys should improve that.

Pros:
- facilities are very clean
- staff is usually friendly
- they have a lot of features and perks, especially the black card

Cons:
- This location isn’t open 24 hrs everyday as advertised
- they continue to charge you after you cancelled multiple times. a recurring issue for me and others
- at this location, the lady with the locs is extremely rude and staff tends to be joking around and chatting for a whiiiile before helping you.

Whenever I try to come in and tan at about 6:30 after work and the staff is just worried more about hanging out instead of trying to make sure that I have a clean tanning bed then I guess I will just continue to go to Georgetown because I've tried to use this location several times but every time in the past 6 months that I have went over there there has always been an issue with the beds being disgusting and I guess it's because no one wants to do their job, they would rather just hang out and talk about what they're going to do on a Friday night instead of actually doing their job. I don't know who is in charge or which one is the manager or whatever but they obviously do not care about the clients or Indy title customer service

I was told I cant’t have my backpack next to me because the owner was showing up? Ive been going to this location for years on and off and have never been once told I can’t have my back pack next to me. Never mind that this gym is in a sketchy neighborhood where I’d rather keep my valuables on me instead of trusting a flimsy locker. Update. There IS a pull-up machine . It's in the back. Original review: I have lived in many states, travel a lot, and of course, have the black card membership. I now live in lexington. This location is a bit strange. I do like the atmosphere, and people are friendly. There is a relaxed experience at this location. But the weights/ weight machine section is lacking. First there is only one chest fly machine, where every other location I have been to has two. As a result, it is never free. Never. Secondly, there does not appear to be an assistive pull up/ dip machine anywhere! I looked and looked and, unless it's hidden, I did not see one. Again, the only Planet Fitness I have been to that does not have one of those. There are a huge number of treadmills, ellipticals, Etc that could never be filled with people even if very crowded. They seem to have sacrificed weight training space for those Fitness machines. I do like that there are individual TVs on those machines, and it makes the time pass.

Gotta get back to 24/7! There's no reason why ALL PF's can't go back to 24/7. This is a huge deal breaker for many people. Especially after PF's annual fee, and Blackcard holders almost paying $30 a month.

For one they make it very difficult to cancel your membership! You can't cancel by phone or online. Secondly they will keep charging your account even after you go in and cancel your membership. Third they were closed for a whole month and still charge you. Personal... they are just another company more worried about money then they are about the customer, that is tell there shady ways start costing them customers. I'd pass on this one guys, when I went in to cancel in person they made it very awkward, almost like if it would be easier just to pay the bill every month then to have to deal with them. I canceled my account after jumping through all of there hoops and yet they still got another month of billing out of me. Be careful because it's all about the B's way that they word the contract, they could charge you forever and I'm sure they get away with it. I'm sure that you work just as hard as I do and if you value your money, take it somewhere else!

Love this gym & the staff... However, having NO acknowledgement that they were closing for almost a MONTH has been a bit aggravating and prevented me from being able to prepare (TAN) for our 1st beach vacation in over 10 years. Not everyone has the option to travel out of county or totally across town.
Like this full time nana who is lucky Just to get 30 mins free time. My monthly dues are being paid for almost 3 years now. It would be nice to recieve a letter or email atleast giving a head up to these type of situations.
Then the place FINALLY opens back up and their tanning beds are STILL DOWN!!! No red bulletin for that ethier. So, myself and others assume they are working and waste our time & gas & lotion. Because walking in the door your told tanning isn't working!!!! Thanks for nothing! It's 2 days later and still not fixed. So in 2 weeks I leave for vacay and won't have even the start of a tan. but planet fitness got their dues. Very very aggravated & disappointed.

This location is CLOSED!! UNDER CONSTRUCTION!! It says on their site 24 hrs, it says on their site that the hrs were confirmed a wk ago by the gym.. It's not open!! The gym equipment is covered over with plastic, the floors have been pulled up and there are numerous boxes of supplies lying around for installation. Their site is still stating, closed and will reopen at 5am, Monday.
It would have been nice if management posted a status about the closing or would keep the site up to date.

The place is consistently being cleaned, machines are helpful targeting any area and place is fairly accessible for a new member. Love the places machines, environment and motivation it brings just being inside. My biggest issue with any planet fitness is the horrible idea of a lunk alarm but here it's never sounded I believe, meaning my main problem is eliminated

The staff is friendly. The facility is clean and attractive. I enjoyed working out there, but I found the free weight area intimidating. It’s male-dominated and located in front of huge windows putting you on display for a large parking lot and any and everyone passing by… wouldn’t be bad if you could see out, but people couldn’t see in or if there were an additional “ladies only” area located elsewhere in the club, maybe to the side. Also, I enjoyed going late at night on weekends with a group of friends, but the facility is no longer 24/7. I discovered this when I called to inquire about rejoining. So, unfortunately I’ve had to look elsewhere, but overall a very nice gym, especially if the above mentioned things aren’t an issue for you. 🙃 Plenty of Nautilus/machine equipment!

PF made it impossible to cancel membership over the phone or in person. After 6 months of repeated in person attempts to cancel my membership, I finally had to have my bank place a block on planet fitness. My bank rep said I'm, by far, not the only one who had to use this option.

I'm an older person, comma a general workout is 15 minute walk on a treadmill then try the 30 minute workout. Problem is when we go to the 30 minute workout Area it always seems to be a crowd Doing reps on the machines mostly looking at their phone. When you ask them to mt always becomes hostile When you ask them to let you use the machine, It becomes hostile because they say that they're not done yet "I got 5 more minutes" No one manages the area, and today people were saying " no one follows those rules" wouldn't move no matter how you ask"
The 30 minute workout is great if you get through it start to finish no delays. I have had one time getting to do this since I started at the gym last September. Please hire real managers, or take th sign off the room...30 minute workout is not possible.

Won't let paying members in the gym without downloading an application on their phone. They claim its for social distancing but scanning a card would be the exact same procedure as scanning a barcode from an app.

News flash PF. Not everyone has a smart phone. And some of those who do don't want to download Spyware just to workout.

It's used to be a good place to workout but now they've changed the working hours and also closed on Sundays, they are playing with their job, I won't recommend this planet fitness at Bryan Station to anyone who is serious want to workout, imagine you've drunk or taken your pre-workout and your gym is closed without any notice , I think taken LEGAL action is the best way, because you pay the gym every month.

I really liked the layout of the locker rooms here. It took me a minute to figure out to hot to consistently get hot water in the showers but once I did, I really appreciated the showers. The locker rooms are well set up and efficient.

There is a good amount of equipment and I rarely had to wait to use anything. I thought they could probably loose a couple cardio machines to allow more floor space because that does seem to need a wait for. There are only 4 mats and 2 are this plasticy material which isn't very foamy. I started bringing my own mats for the days when I need to do a lot of floorwork.

Rocky and Sam always made me feel like a regular even though I was only traveling and there for a limited amount of time. I hope I get another contract in Lexington so that I can come back here.

I love this location. The gym is clean and the staff is very friendly. I start coming here about a month ago. For a week I didn’t know what I was doing until I met Skylar the trainer ( you train with her for free). She is amazing. The way she supports her client just give you so much self confidence.
