Large and spread out, two-story location with everything you could need I believe! Staff have been friendly and helpful when I've asked questions. They have at least 5 smith machines as well as 3 free barbells/racks which I have yet to see elsewhere and I really appreciate.

I am so heartbroken. I have been going to this gym for years and some times I would have to wait in the locker room for my daughter to pick me up and now all of the sudden people’s things have been stolen and I have been falsely accused by the GM that I am the one who was doing it because me and 100s of girls wait in there but I’m the one even though I’ve had $ stolen as well. I will be speaking to an attorney to see about a lawsuit against her. Other than that I luv all the employees there besides the blonde headed one that follows people around. Everyone else is wonderful. I’m glad I didn’t take the job I was offered. I don’t think I will go back there again after the humiliation. I haven’t NEVER stole a thing in my life and for her to accuse me like that is not ok and unprofessional l. Out of 100s of girls that sit around in there daily she picks my profile and sends it to the manager.

I love the tanning bed selection at this location. And I appreciate that it has extended the hours again. At least for now.
I've never really had to wait to tan. So that's a plus. But 3rd shift is GREAT. Super chill in there. And when I have time I can use all the perks of my Black Card. With out rushing and actually enjoy the service.

Highly recommended. This one's huge. With two floors, you'll never wait for a treadmill again. I particularly like the room I call the biceps room. Dumbells and curl bars with usually no one in it. Come by and check it out. You'll be glad you did.

I have sent 2 separate letters canceling my membership and 16 months later am still being charged this is outrageous they habe charged me a total of 472 dollars since I have canceled my membership I have put multiple stop payments against them and they change their business name to continuously charge me. I go to this one in Lexington. Because it has a second floor and large glass windows. There's a stretch room on the 2nd floor that is spacious for my introverted self. The machines are wiped down and cleaned often. They have plenty of typical machines on the second floor.

Really do enjoy this gym and love everything it has to offer! Only thing I have to complain about is how hot it is. There are no fans anywhere besides the ones on the ceiling above the main area. Love how clean this location is. Super spacious and the equipment upgrades are nice with the exception of the hip abduction machine. I am actually begging you to get rid of the new hip abductors because the range of motion is nonexistent and I have to restructure my work out now :(

I’m pretty happy with this Planet Fitness. If you go during peak hours (4pm to around 7:30) it’s busy. If it is not during the peak hours, there’s no wait to use the machine or free weights.

I been coming to the Lowery lane in Lexington KY I have a complaint today at 7.11 pm me and my friend came to go tan they was two young girls came in after us to tan the boy at the desk had cancelled my tan session to let the young girls go in front me and my she went before we came at the same time I clocked in before her and this keeps repeating each time we come here with the same boy don't know his name he has sandy blonde hair is this how you let your employees treat your customers .

Nice gym but unfriendly staff. I walked in 10am to check in and the other 2 front staff knew that and they saw me walk in twice. Then the black guy that ate chipotle today about 12 also saw me and I even told him I saw you eat chipotle, but when I came back in he insisted I give me him my phone number to verify me and I told him in front of the other two staff members to check with them that I already checked in. They didn't say anything to him to de escalate him arguing with me and tell him the obvious that I already checked in. They just let him argue with me. I finally gave him my phone number.

The biggest problem with planet fitness is lack of organization skills, communication amongst staff and inability to recognize through their system black card members through their phone number because I doubt he pulled up my number. But whatever, you don't treat members this. The staff stood right in front of us going back and forth about verifying me ans said NOTHING TO HIM!!!!

After I wrote this review the guy at the front told me after 2 hours of not being in the gym that I have to recheck in. I told him, you're the one that checked me in at 10am!

He was all surprised. It happened because he wasn't paying attention due to the other girl there in the front chit chatting with him the whole time. He apologized but I told him pay attention. There weren't that many people that came in since I came in and I came in and out of the gym 3 times. Not my fault they don't pay attention.

The ladies bathroom is like a bat cave. It’s so dark what is going on?! Good luck trying to wash your face and put makeup on to go to work. Serious dark and with blue lights. The gym itself is ok. Wanted to cancel membership...they said I had to come to the gym to cancel...I had covid and was sick...they said it didn't matter I could and would have to come in.

They charged me over $300 and I never even went there...had to close my bank account to stop the charges.

Wanted to rejoin now and they said I had a balance charge off and they would work with me. Wanted me to pay half. They won't budge. Now they lose $50 a month and I am finding another place.

May be judgement free zone, but are totally without compassion or understanding. Even told them my Medicaid was paying $200 via a visa card and they would not help.

Don't waste time here when they don't care about nothing but $$$$$$$$$ and they make it hard or confrontational to cancel...I don't need an upscale or someone to try to talk my into staying...WHY is it hard to cancel?

One of your staff members about wanted to fight me cuz I sang a verse from a song playing on y’all’s radio. He proceeds to yell for me to please keep it down. I told him I’ll kindly oblige but you could approach it differently. He didn’t like that. A few sets later the entire staff is causing a ruckus at the front desk I call out the behavior on how am I supposed to keep a low decibel or draw attention yet you yourself are being loud. Lead by example he charges over to the seated leg press where I was at gets aggressive asking what my problem was I told him exactly my issue. Furthermore he kept goading the entire interaction.

BAD EXPERIENCE! I am NEVER a person to write reviews about a facility but I feel to be treated unprofessionally and not emotionally by the staff meant for a good over all experience. .

I had a few weight for sets and after the “manager” for the night said I had too much weight for reps with a slow night and 20% capacity. He said “no more weight” I said ok, to set up the weight.

After his employee walked up to me to set all the weights down “right now” I grabbed the curl bar to finish (as I had to set them up set by set)

They both walked up and grabbed all my weights as I’m setting the curl bar down to make it a point they meant “right here right now” with my first time hearing I can’t have “more than two weights

As I’m talking to the “manager” at the counter he says he can cancel my membership at any time if I don’t like it it’s his word against mine.

I NEVER write reviews but the Power grab of “set all your weight down tight now in a gym that’s slow while employees grab my workout was a VERY “Un professional way of doing business”

I told them I’ll be coming back until they kick me out and expect everyone to get the same treatment since we can’t do more than one set of weights”. He said I he’ll cancel my membership because of me being upset but it’s all on cameras just very unprofessional,

Initially going to sign up for a membership, I was basically told to scan a qr code and enroll on my phone. So... No real customer service there, but that's not that big of a deal.
But due to relocation for work, I had to cancel my membership within a month of getting it. So I walked in, talked to someone, and they clickety clacked and said it was canceled... Until I got an auto payment withdrawn the next month.
I called to talk to a manager, several times, and either there is really no manager on-site ever, or it's always the job if the person answering to screen the call.
Each of the 3+ times I've called I told the associate what's going on, and each time they said the "manager isn't available right now, but I'll give them the message and they should be getting back to you".

Tldr: it's a fitness center, like most fitness centers, but this one has bad customer service and no follow up when issues come up-especially ones that effect YOUR money.

Love the showers! Some guy in the parking lot had a cool license plate, so I took a pic, purely for my enjoyment. P.F. management is overly suspicious, and comes to me later during my workout, as if I committed a crime. Maybe I misunderstood, but I am new to the area. Dang, I'm the one who they are suspicious of, but why are they watching me from the inside? Who's the sketch one? Just know, they're watching you closely, and are really sensitive. No longer open 24/7 and the older guy cleaning never puts out wet floor signs. He also doesn’t respect you working out and will literally mop right under your feet in the squat rack. I almost fell in the men’s room cause no sign and had to wipe my shoes off every time I used the leg press machine cause of how slippery they were due to what was used to mop(floor was dry next to machine).
I understand he has a job to do but it makes it unsafe to use machines when he does this.

I've been going to this location for about a year now, but haven't been back for about two months. I had a health scare there (and it was terrifying) but I managed to ask another member to get me some help from the front desk. The female employees that came to my rescue were freaking amazing! They had no clue what was wrong with me (I found out that evening that I was having a brain aneurysm) but they stayed with me, brought me snacks and fluids, and helped me get downstairs, and get out of there safely. I wish I knew their names, but I was so out of it, because I'd love to thank them for keeping me calm and comfortable until my husband picked me up. So, if you were those girls, thank you thank you thank you. I can't wait to get back to the gym, and start training again.
