Becoming lax on maintenance lately. I realize that equipment and facilities can break down, and 1-2 days of outage is not unusual, but one of the two urinals in the men’s locker has been out of service for multiple weeks now, as has been at least one piece of equipment. Several of the treadmills also have had non-functioning TVs for several weeks. Other than those issues, I still think this is a great facility - large enough to not feel cramped and usually don’t have to wait for access to weight machines.

Nick and Drew went above and beyond today. My AirPod Case fell down into the stairmaster- behind the steps where you can’t reach it. Clean facility and friendly workers. The only complaints I have is there is no music playing in the background. I can hear people next to me grunting and wheezing. This place needs to turn up the volume to drown out the noise and build a motivational environment. Also replacing the front push doors with an automatic sliding door would be great. Its so awkward to hold two sets of doors open for people everytime i go in and out.

Update: I am not sure why PF commented pretending like I had already spoken with the club manager before posting the review.

Additionally, I canceled months ago but recently found out I was still being charged... the club manager was supposed to call me back about this issue and never did. The club manager doesn't care about clients. They just pretend online to save face and their job.

CONS (AND MAJOR CONS)
- not ADA friendly or accessible. And that excludes a large portion of society who need a gym the most. I couldn't sign up for the year that I was in a wheelchair due to this.
When my mom was on her walker, she had to park at Heine Brothers multiple times because three cars without Handicap credentials were parked in the reserved Handicap spots by lazy selfish humans. I informed staff about the handicap situation after counting four cars parked illegally and was told there is nothing they can do about it. It would be nice if staff could advocate for the disabled by speaking on the intercom and/or posting on the doors/locker room about not parking in handicap if you don't have the credentials. This has been a constant problem for my mother whom is handicapped and myself since a recent surgery.
- Unable to get through front doors if you are in a wheelchair. This caused me to wait until I was out of a wheelchair before signing up. I ended up being unable to get anyone to hold the door, and clients would walk by me.
- Ample ADA accessibility laws are not being followed. For example, doors weigh over 5 lbs with kickbacks. Making someone with low mobility, on crutches, or in a wheelchair unable to access.

The facility is clean, but there is room for growth, and staff mentioned this has been a problem. However, they even say management does nothing. Sɔ, if no one is going to speak up and advocate for society's most vulnerable, I will.

I am a recent Black Card member. I joined approximately 3 weeks ago. At first it changed my life. I began working out every day third shift. I was taught a weight lifting routine by Devante so nice. A nice young man about 17. Each day used the bikes, the weight machines, I used the massage chairs and I loved the Hydromassage bed.. It is dark in the room where the Hydromassage bed is, it has soft relaxing music, warm massaging water hits your back and body from head to toe. It's so relaxing that you can't help but close your eyes and enjoy your 10 minutes of paradise!
Well. I am now EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND EMBARRASSED TO SAY THAT I WAS APPROACHED BY THE STORE MANAGER STATING TO ME " UH ..MISS LISA MY WORKER SAID THAT YOU WERE SLEEPING!??? AND I CAN'T HAVE YOU SLEEPING IN HERE"..(??). what has this world come to. I couldn't believe it. I just stared at him in disbelief. And I told him I was just relaxing enjoying myself and I felt like I was being scolded!!! Unbelievable! I told him I am a long hauler COVID PATIENT SINCE NOVEMBER 2020. and I, after learning to walk again, caught SLEEP APNEA from COVID and after exercising, and walking,and working out everybody is relaxed on that bed. I told Drew, the manager that I shouldn't have to be forced to give my personal medical history to him or anyone else. I expected better Planet Fitness ☺️🫤💔!!! That ruined my day and I felt degraded, harassed, and belittled as he RESTATED that I can't sleep in there or they would ask me to leave????
WOW.o.k. so I told him never, EVER do I want to have this conversation again. I just left. So, days later, the workers were acting all strange, and different. Very judgemental like, one worker, like 21 maybe said to me " Now Miss Lisa try to stay awake for me"(????) as he handed me the bed number I was going to. I will be taking this up with the District Manager.

I am glad I picked this location for my new home. Having come from the Lagrange location is like night and day. I am a short person and the machines in Lagrange are meant more for a person who is at least 5'7 and above. I am not that. It made it hard to adjust. "A Tale of Two Employees"

As a regular member of Planet Fitness, my experience with the facility, particularly the treadmills, has been mostly positive, with my use around 150 visits per year. However, my recent visit highlighted a significant issue with one of the treadmills, which was miscalibrated to a concerning degree, showing a nearly two-mile discrepancy compared to my Garmin tracker. This deviation was unusual, as the differences are typically minimal and unnoticeable.

My attempt to address this issue with the staff led to mixed experiences. One employee, unfortunately, dismissed my concerns outright, showing a lack of initiative to investigate or acknowledge the problem. This was quite disappointing, as it revealed an unapproachable attitude, raising concerns about addressing future equipment issues or seeking assistance, which is difficult for members who might lack knowledge or feel intimidated by a gym environment. (This should greatly concern the owner as the New Year approaches with the historical increase in membership.)

Contrastingly, another staff member demonstrated excellent customer service. They not only acknowledged the issue but also took immediate action by noting down the details of the faulty treadmill and assuring me that it would be brought to the manager's attention. This response was in line with the positive interactions I've generally had with the staff at this location.
This incident was a reminder of the varying degrees of customer service one can encounter. The proactive and helpful approach of the second employee somewhat balanced the dismissiveness of the first, but it still leaves room for improvement in ensuring consistency in customer service and equipment maintenance at Planet Fitness.

Planet Fitness was kind enough to give me a day pass since I was traveling from out of town. I really like this gym. I love the concept of having a 30 minute quick workout area as people tend to camp on machines, and this would prevent that. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful despite myself being a non-paying customer. All equipment was in good working order. I like the design of the machines since I could reach the weight adjustments from every machine if I remember correctly.

I usually hate PF gyms but this one is great! It has all new equipment that works well and is very clean. The gym in general is really clean, spacious, bright, and in great condition. Plenty of cardio and strength equipment. Front desk workers are usually really friendly. I have zero complaints other than at peak times, it can be pretty crowded, but that's common for pretty much all gyms.

I’ve been coming to this location 2-4 times a week since late 2020. Since the new management arrived a few weeks ago things have been going downhill. The staff at this location are very professional and accommodating. I was approached by another female inappropriately and felt uncomfortable about the interaction as well as the safety of other gym attendees.
