This location has had their bathrooms closed with their "please do not enter" ribbon up for a while now while doing construction work even though they aren't working on the bathrooms, leaving the only option for changing and using the restroom, the singular Porta-Potty out front.

Also is not upfront with you about their 60-day policy for their annual fee charge. If you sign up late in the month, they don't go from the day, 60 days and then the first of the month, they actually go by the months. So if you sign up at the end of one month, you'll be charged the $52 after just over 30 days instead of 60.

And as someone, like many others, who needs to budget paycheck to paycheck, that information is extremely important so that I don't have to worry about an absurd overdraft fee from my bank since Planet Fitness won't allow the option to pay with credit card. (Except for when signing up online for the first month).

Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed because I haven't even been able to use the gym for at least 2 weeks already in the first place because I need access to a cleaner restroom than a porta potty, and now this yearly charge that I wasn't expecting for another month. I definitely won't be working their gyms into my budget ever again.

If you're willing to have a nice time and don't waste any of your time make sure to keep your primary payment method updated, otherwise you'll have an awkward time and you'll gonna waste time every time you walk inside; they have the option of a secondary method to make payments but the app doesn't use it at all; so if there's an issue on your side, is going to keep trying to use the same method, and once it begins you can update the card, or even change it, but that won't solve the issue unless you pay your debt at the counter, their system doesn't work that well. Another detail noticed is that, unless you're using their Free WIFI, you're gonna have issues loading the app interface if you don't open it before entering their building; this has happened twice in different locations I have used, I don't know why but cell signal becomes poor once you walk indoors. So keep that in mind. Despite that, their gym is pretty good for working out and doing your routines comfortably.

I been coming here everyday but the men’s shower rooms are nasty. They aren’t ever clean and guy at the front desk today was not friendly. He was rude to me. Showed no concern to help me scan into the gym. Had no compassion. On the other hand the gym itself is beautiful.

Was greeted at a the door with very rude behavior from employee at counter. Then was not allowed to workout using a friends guest pass as I have for a year now. I was then told I had to down load the summer pass and was told I can’t do that in the building. Needless to say I am very unhappy. I’m going to get fat now thank you planet fitness.

Had an employee address me about taking a video with MY phone (only me and my friend in the frame the video clearly shows it’s just us in the frame). Said “that its against our policy to record in the gym” but the policy online says otherwise. As it states online on policy #5 “Members may use their mobile devices on the gym floor in order to photograph or take video of themselves in very limited circumstances and this privilege may be revoked at any time and for any reason at the sole discretion of Planet Fitness® team members.”. When we kindly asked her where in the policy online it says what she told us, she quickly got an attitude and told us to call corporate, and proceeded to tell me yelling in my face “IM NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH YOU.” Workers need a clear understanding of your polices before addressing clients. And if someone is recording in the gym you kindly remind them to not have anyone in the frame as it states on the policy. I’ve never had any issues at any other planet fitness!

This lady in the front desk told me and my friend that we couldn’t use the camara, when we didn’t. That if we I used it again she would have to ask me to leave, with a very bad attitude. That is the gym policy she said. Very disrespectful. When I ask her in what part of the policy said that, she said call the support. She is so ridiculous, I hope I never have to see her ridiculous face again.

Frankie is the rudest person ever. Because I was a guest she informed me I can't use any equipment or the message chairs and told me I had to leave. I was considering about becoming a member now there is no way I will and she don't like older people. They call it a judgement free zone? Frankie sure likes to judge. She is also racist against heavy people. I talked to the general manager Michelle she wasn't concerned with the way I was treated and said oh well don't come back so that tells me they don't care about their customers.

This specific Planet Fitness has the best layout for Louisville, and many of the others I have been to in different states. Their equipment is in better shape than most of the other locations. Its worth a drive if you live in town.

The staff is amazing at this location! This is one of the cleanest gyms on Dixie. They are constantly cleaning. The machines are hardly ever out of order. Its a smaller pf but what they have is enough. Its never too crowded, however now that teens can workout for free in the summertime.... its not so pleasant. I wish instead there were certain days/times for them to come with guided workouts.

For some unknown reason they decided to turn a 24 hour fitness club into a we close when we want to club, that was the whole reason for joining, now seriously considering changing to a better, more serious fitness club, they joined the ranks of the other businesses that use covid as an excuse to do as little as possible

Great price. Much smaller than the average PF, but still have everything you need to get a good workout in. Staff is friendly and they are constantly cleaning/disinfecting. Only downside: others don't like to abide by the face coverings mandate, and small staff means no consistent enforcement of this policy. Got a few "lunks" who like to slam the cable machine weights. Still enjoy it!
Update: 5Mar22
Since face coverings aren't mandatory anymore, that part of the review is irrelevant. They change out worn out parts on equipment regularly so you're not cutting yourself on torn leather. Not a fan of ladies wearing midriffs, but not much I can do about that. Still enjoying it!

I had the worst experience in this place, I canceled my membership cuz it has rules when only is for customers and not for trainers and persons who work there. The trainers aren't working all the time are in the restroom with cellphone. Sometimes anybody is in the lobby. Bad attention with clients. I don't recommend this gym. It's a public place when prohibit the cellphone to us.

No enforcement of mask mandates...half the people in here either have their masks pulled down or not on at all. When management was informed, the response was sorry but we are busy tonight. How long does it take one person to make a loop around the building?

Follow up to management response- when we pointed the people out in the specific areas, you just said you guys were busy and made zero attempt to ask the anti maskers to mask up. Two out of the three of you were just standing around. Only one employee was occupied.

I spoke with the in site manager. 2/3 of the patrons were not wearing masks at all they had them all below their chin and it was very busy so I told the manager that there were a lot of people with no masks on and she looked at me surprised and said who's not wearing a mask so I said take a walk around and then she instantly said we're really busy and understaffed made no effort to look and so I left I'll go to the one in Radcliff they do much better job at keeping track of that
