Our family enjoys working out together. We just moved to Somerset & joined our local Planet Fitness. We are all night owls & omniverts who like to get out and be social but our fav times are during the evening when traffic is slow in and out of the gym. It’s was perfect for us. Love that they are 24/7. We really enjoyed the availability of the machines, the hand full of ppl also working out. No pressure where while we work out we can also talk or watch shows or listen to our own music on headsets. We’ll be going back tonight as we are all Black card members… we enjoyed the tour and the free guest pass days before choosing to become members. Staff was super helpful and friendly. There were plenty of cleaning solution stations around and paper towels available to sanitize before and after using the machines. Comfortable atmosphere, staff available if need be. They lacked nothing. Totally recommend. Thank you

I prefer a personal trainer at their own place than I would have a big gym with no help. I know a personal trainer a man and a woman that is a reasonable price right here in Somerset.

Me and my husband liked it when they first opened now you get people who sit around and talk and don’t work out and hog the machines, Or you get girls who come in half dressed and thier body hanging out “making it obvious” it’s not for workout purposes. It’s supposed to family friendly. I don’t want to go in with my son and neither does my husband to work out all we see if some girls jumping around in see through tank tops short and tight and putting thierselfs in everyone’s view. We want to enjoy our workouts and go home. It’s a waste of money when you deal with things like that. Flaunt your stuff at home In Your privacy or at a bar not in a gym we’re teenage kids go as well! Staff don’t do anything about it

I go here but don't work out,I just watch people working out cause it makes me tired. If it makes me tired it must be working.
I usually grab a couple burgers and some fries and a big shake...sit in front of people working out and eat in right in front of them ....in case they work up an appetite.
I've had 7 epo restraining orders but I just throw on a hat or shades maybe a wig and nobody sees it's me.

Great place to work out. Several different machines to use, Several treadmills, Barbell's for weight lifting, stars to climb, bikes to ride, tanning rooms. If your a shy woman, they have a private room strictly for women. A separate walking track for walking at your pace. So, the only thing missing there is YOU. Sometimes too crowded, they honestly should have built a bigger one. Could definitely use more equipment but that being said still a decent place to workout.
I would like to make a request. The handicap ♿️ parking spaces need to be more identifiable than the wheelchair ♿️ on the asphalt. Most of them is covered with oil and grime so that they're hard to see. The lines are not blue or there is no signs to identify them easily. I have only one leg and have to use crutches and most of the time I go I can't park in them with people with no handicap license or placard are parked there. I tried talking to the manager on-site and she told me there was nothing she could do about it. Hmmm ok. Maybe if she wasn't so worried about the little puppy at the counter she could look into it. Anyway if the spaces were more recognizable maybe they wouldn't park there. Thanks for listening.

Wanted to reply to the message from the owner, but my review has been deleted. This doesn't surprise me, since it was about their customer service. I went in on May 18th at around 3 pm and I was told by the girl at the desk that she didn't have time for me, to look everything up on line. She said she was preparing a workout schedule for two teacher that were going to start it tomorrow. I feel it was age discrimination. I'm a military veteran and this behavior was uncalled for. I

Love to go tan here. They have awesome tanning beds. Very much recommend the stand up beds. Also the price is very inexpensive compared going to other tanning salons. Love my Black Card membership. You get way more than tanning. You can work out, they have massage chairs, just a variety of options to choose from.

I have been a member of this gym for 3.5 years and after how I was treated tonight I canceled my membership and will never be back I went in to tan and brought my wife so she could help me put my tanning lotion on Bc I have a bad back because of a car wreck that’s also why I have to use a stand up I tried explaining this to the girls at the front desk but they was extremely rude and hateful to me and my wife so I canceled my membership. If you were looking for a gym or a tanning spot this is not it do yourself a favor and find another gym

I come every day to workout. Planet fitness isnt keeping its standard. There have been backpacks on the floor and currently a guy has his shirt off flexing in the mirror. The men's locker room has a huge mirror for peacocks. Have some respect for other's. Didn't know planet fitness was a douche gym.

Facility is great and the Staff are pleasant but hope you stay forever because if you attempt to cancel they're membership they'll try to get you to freeze your account by promising they won't bill you for 6 months but they will after just 1 month. If you try to cancel they're membership they'll charge you again anyways. When I spoke with a employee at the Gym was told to call corporate and when I call corporate told to contact the home gym back which is a complete run around. I'll never renew my membership here again and will never recommend anyone coming here again. If you need to cancel recommend contacting your bank first to black list them so they can't keep sneaking charges while your trying to cancel.

Way to go somerset I’m impressed. I come from the planet gyms in Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Knightdale, Garner area of NC and they are tragic. None of them have red light and they are not nearly as polite or clean. I’m super happy to see Kentucky trying. There use to be nothing here and still is but at least they have this gem :).
