I use to love coming here for the pitching machine use. Have come frequently and have had no issues until today. We got there to start at 4:15 and you can pay for 30 min increments so 5:15 would be my end time. At 5 pm, Iβm told my time is up because another family is taking it over that come in after us. So wanting me to give up 15 mins I paid forβ¦ I go ask the lady at the front. And she told me they close at 5:30 and they are due to start. NOOOO MAAMM. I paid for a hour. She said she was told by the girl who took our payment 5pm. So I presented payment & when we got there. Iβm not paying for a hour and not get a hour. Idc that you close at 5:30, you shouldnβt have told another family they can have it at 5 during OUR time. The girl who took my payment was dang near in tears βitβs a mistakeβ, and I work hard for my money so I shouldnβt have to pay for someone else to take my time. Both girls were saying itβs an over reaction. No, yβall messed up. They hardly ever even have the cages open so when they do, weβve taken advantage of it. I guess weβll be driving to Clarksville from here on out.

A nice, clean facility. Multiple courts, clean bathrooms, a nice snack/eating area. Friendly staff and a fair admission price. Overall a good experience for a 1 day trip.

I loved this complex itβs very nice but the only downside is the availability for open gym . I thought it was a community complex but itβs consumed by tournaments and vb and soccer .ive been coming here since it open but starting to lose interest due to lately there no being any space or open gym ..can us open gymers atleast get one court to play on .I even check the website for schedules and the say 5:30 when all this are ended and open gym but drive all the way up the gym just for someone to say that thereβs no open gym ..I call and I spoke to a guy he told me tourneys and vb and soccer goes down mostly on weekends and weekdays for the open gym but itβs starting to become a problem during week days ..do us community basketball players matter or do you have to be a kid and be on a team to be able to come to and use the sport complex ?

The only and main problem is the availability this sportsplex has. As much as it is a good thing to have sports its a negative being that you have to be a child and on a team in order to play. Too many tournaments everyday almost every week. Should just be a tournament place only if thats gonna be a thing. Instead it should stand as a equal sportsplex for multiple age groups thats on or not on a team. The facebook page also misleads and is actually longer than what is posted

Our family is very thankful for the sportsplex. Our kids have been in several games there. Itβs a nice facility. Itβs good for our community and brings in many different sports clubs to our town. Whatβs not good for our community is the sportsplex management. While I am on that subject who is the manager? Tony, his wife, both? I didnβt see her listed under staff. I donβt know her name but she tends to be in everyoneβs business. Since she coaches a soccer team at the plex it would seem that she would not need to be involved in the day to day dealings of the other teams. I personally had Tony tell my child one version of rules and then told me something completely different. Maybe the rules for each event should be posted if the plex is hosting those games. That way Tony and wife can manage to keep them straight. Not make them up as they go. Kids from the community enjoy having the plex. Itβs great for winter! Poor management, good-ole-boys ways, and benefiting from changing/adding rules as you go will certainly get old and coaches will no longer care to sign up for anything that the plex hosts. We have sports teams from many different communities come to Hopkinsville because of the plex. Donβt let poor management mess up a good thing. Make the rules, post them and stick to them if you are hosting. We have never had any issues with games hosted by other clubs at the plex.

Very impressed with the facility! Can see a problem with parking and access for a large event, but it should be better when construction of the hotel is finished. Glad Hopkinsville has committed to these kinds of facilities to bring outside events and people to town...plus an asset for the locals to use as well.

This beautiful venue is an incredible addition to Hopkinsville, and has been packed with visitors and residents since opening in January! I love seeing the variety of activities and events that the Sportsplex hosts and know it will continue to be a great addition to the future tourism landscape of the community!
