I highly recommended Chris as your personal trainer. He's been training with me for only a month now and the results I've gotten so far just in that one month alone are amazing. For me I'm needing to loose weight and gain muscle as most people think they need to do and from a personal trainer like Chris that can definitely happen. He works around your schedule for workout times and in the gym he pushes you to do your best. He makes it fun and challenging at the same time but at the end of the days session you leave feeling like you got the best workout needed until the next session. I'll be definitely returning to Chris for another months training.

BodyQuest / Chris has been a great influence in my life over the last few years. The accountability alone is worthy the investment but Iβve learned a ton about how to get the most out of my time. Iβd spent a couple of years doing CrossFit which was effective but I finally caused some damage to my shoulder. I had to take off almost 18 months to heal and when I was looking to get back to it, I found BodyQuest and was able to have professional oversight and customized workouts. Iβve not had any issues with injuries and I feel even better than I had in the past.

I have been coming to buy quest for a couple of years now and the guys there know their stuff. They take time to explaining the workouts the importance of good eating habits point you in the right direction on how to achieve your goals. they allow you to be the best you that you can be if you're willing to do the work. If you're looking for a positive experience rather you want to gain mass or lose weight this is the place to do it absolutely judgement-free!

Chris and his company are FANTASTIC! I've only been working with him for a short time but he has already gone above and beyond for me. With over 20 years of experience, he is so knowledgeable when it comes to the mechanics of the human body, and really knows the in's and out's of his craft. I've had several other personal trainers in the past, and NONE of them measure up to Chris. He is so attentive to my needs as a client, and so approachable! I have the ability to text him at any point during the day with questions regarding my diet, injuries I think I may have incurred, or supplemental nutrition. You can tell he truly cares about his clients and puts forth the MAXIMUM effort to help you reach your goals. When I had questions about protein and meal replacements (things like what brands I should be buying and what kind of protein I should be consuming as a female who is trying to lose weight/lean out), he made a few suggestions and then went out of his way to call The Vitamin Shop on my behalf, just to be sure the information he was passing along to me was current and accurate. He pushes you during the workouts but never makes you feel less than for reaching your limits, whatever they may be. He's a great conversationalist and has so many wonderful stories, sometimes you forget you're actually "suffering" through a workout. I meet with Chris 3 times a week for an hour, and I never feel rushed if I'm struggling to make it through a workout. He makes sure that all of his attention is on you for the time that you're with him. He's never on his phone, never busy chatting with other employees or people in the gym - he's there for you and you only. I highly recommend Chris and BodyQuest Personal Training to anyone who is looking to make a change in their lifestyle. Chris will not let you down!

Think the bad review may have the wrong gym owner, Chris has been training clients for about two decades after serving as a Marine with the utmost professionalism. You donβt stay open and grow like BodyQuest has any other way, canβt recommenced that facility highly enough.

Started out great, had great trainers for over 2 years saw a lot of results. The trainers eventually moved on and the owner Chris did not contact me to follow up on $3200 worth of sessions my husband and I prepaid for. We contacted Chris for refund and were told we would have to wait 60 days. The only reason I can think of he can't refund us our money for services not performed is because he is broke, not sure what he did with our money, but he sure didn't use it on the Bodyquest gym. Chris even made a verbal threat to " kick me in the balls" after I left a note for him requesting to fix the elliptical machine, then he made false accusations about my husband and threatened legal action...STAY AWAY!! Only gets one star because I cant make it o or negative

Over the two years I spent at Body Quest I was disappointed to see the gym deteriorate into what it is today. Equipment broke down and wasn't repaired or replaced. The HVAC continuously leaked. The solution for this was a mop permanently placed next to a puddle on the floor. One year into my time at BQ the owner Chris Tedesco decided to take away half the gym space and build three offices. Much of the renovation was done during the day while high paying clients were being trained. Actually {sanding drywall} while we were working out! Drywall dust was everywhere and not readily cleaned. Insulation, broken drywall, used paint cans, rollers, boxes, garbage etc. were thrown and left in a pile in the group work room. Wiring was hanging down...it was important enough to consume the space but not important enough to finish the project. So the offices sat empty. Half built, unfinished with construction trash laying inside. Trainers and their clients had to work on top of each other due to lack of equipment and lack of space. During this process the owner sent out an email offering free sessions for new referred clients. He stated he had "new equipment and assessment technology" coming. It didn't. Not at all. Over promised under delivered. Any new equipment that did come in was purchased by the trainers, not the owner. I was too embarrassed by the condition of the gym at that point to refer someone anyway. It definitely wasn't/isn't the gym I signed up for.
Key to my success while at Body Quest was the knowledge experience and creativity of my trainer. His ability to adapt to any situation made it easy for me to reach my goals even with limited resources. There's only so much one can do with what little there was to work with. My trainer became impatient with the lack of growth and empty promises he was getting from the owner. He left, and so did I, which was so disappointing because at one time I think Body Quest had great potential. As it stands today though, I couldn't recommend it to anyone.

Let me start by saying what a wonderful experience it has been getting involved with Body Quest. I have taken this transformation journey with my daughter and together we have accomplished truly amazing results with the guidance of our trainer Collin and Body Quest. I haven't worked out since my high school days and had let myself get to 206 lbs and really out of shape. When my daughter and I met with Chris for a consultation, I was nervous and very unsure. I knew I would struggle with workouts. Chris immediately put us at ease with explaining the Body Quest process. My thought was that I would just give it 3 months, so we signed up. Chris put my daughter and I with Collin, and we are so blessed that he did. Collin does a tremendous job with our tailored workouts, nutritional guidance, and encouragement. He really cares about what works for you and what doesn't.
I gave this 3 months and that was a year ago. March is our 1 year Body Quest anniversary and we haven't looked back. Our Body Quest family have become true friends to us and I encourage anyone with any doubts at all to come check it out. You will not regret it.
I turn 57 years old in 3 months and I'm in better shape than I have been for over 20 years thanks to Collin and our Body Quest family.

BodyQuest has been awesome. I've always played sports growing up and since college I've had difficulty finding a workout regimen that will keep me motivated. Andy personalizes workouts for your needs and he will take it a step further and make them fun! Never the same day twice!!

Hands down best personal training facility around. My trainer has given me the tools and confidence to achieve dramatic results in weight loss and more importantly changed habits. Iβve spent years and tons of money working with other trainers in gyms with little to no results, but Bodyquest knew exactly what I needed and I started seeing results almost immediately, all while being a busy mom and wife, with a full time job!

As September nears a close, so does my two month mark of being with Body Quest.
I was heavily intimidated after my assessment session on July 28th. Not because of Chris, but because of the realization of how truly unfit I was. I knew there wasn't going to be a better opportunity or program that would be a fit for me so I hesitantly, yet eagerly, signed up.
Now nearly two months in, I can say with confidence that the BodyQuest program is fantastic. More specifically, Zach is an amazing trainer. Zach's mindset, positive attitude, personality, and training knowledge have exceeded my expectations and have been the core reasoning I continually train as much as possible. Undoubtedly, if it weren't for his willingness to work with my schedule and his determination to see me succeed, I would have left after the initial 12 sessions were completed.
I have continually bragged about the Body Quest program to anyone that will listen to me talk about my soreness from training and the positive results that have accompanied it. I have already received compliments from those who have noticed me changing, and for that I have only Zach and Chris to thank.
With only four sessions left before October begins, I anticipate my investment in myself to continue to be a positive one. I look forward to my two-month assessment with Zach in the near future and am sure the results will continue to prove the worth of the BodyQuest program Chris created.

I started working out with Chris 7 months ago. When I first started I was relatively in "OK" shape. Weighed about 195 lbs and could run three miles at about 9:30 min pace. During my time with him I have sucessfully dropped my weight down to 180 lbs and even reduced my 3 mile running pace to as low as 8:07. He doesn't make you do anything outrageous. He is very adaptive with how we works. Rather than trying to push you to do something you can't do, I loved how he focused on what I can do and worked with that to help reach my goals.
Another huge plus is the education ive received out of it. He doesnt just hand you a workout and tell you how to do it. Time is spent teaching you the movements, safety, and whats expected from every movement. You really learn how to work out well, so you can even feel comfortable working out on your own.
I would recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer. Hes safe, thorough, and he certainly helps you reach your goals.

Chris showed me more than just proper workout techniques. He showed me how to challenge myself, adapt my exercises when someone takes my favorite bench/machines, and modify the same workout routine to be less boring. I have been maintaining my body fat < 10% and I feel like I get a good workout at the gym.

After spending the last several years letting myself get out of shape, I decided it was time to get healthy for myself and my family. Chris has been the key to my success. He is a very knowledgeable and supportive personal trainer. He pushes you hard but realizes that life is going to happen (i.e.bourbon and cookies). Chris has provided the encouragement and motivation I have needed to make this lifestyle change work. Not only does he teach you how to train hard and effectively but he works with you on nutrition and anything else you need to make your goal a reality.
It has been 3 months and I have lost several pounds and several more inches. I feel great and my energy levels has increased substantially. Even walking back up the hill from sledding with my daughter was easier this year:)

As a retired professional athlete with back problems, reconstructed knee and lingering injuries, I still like to find ways to push myself to the edge. With Chris' innovative mind and great facility, we did just that! Chris is also very thick skinned, he was able to handle the barrage of insults and names i was throwing his way during the workout. When I started looking for a trainer my goal was to get back into close to the same shape I used to be in when I was in highschool/college, I'm 29 and own a small business so I knew needed someone to coach me and keep me accountable if I was going to pull it off. When I met Chris I knew I got lucky because I could tell I was definitely going to get that accountability factor, but I was going to get a whole lot more than that as well. I was super impressed from the first day he tests you in a number of factors, you actually get real metrics that show you where you are at. Then the training sessions are totally customized to you, it is not cookie cutter whatsoever, he literally customizes everything according to where you are at and your abilities are at that time and what your goals are. He really knows the science inside and out, and he knows how to keep you motivated and progressing every session. With the exercise and nutrition program Chris has put together for me, I have made rapid progress and I'm excited to get into *better* shape than I've ever been before!

This man Chris. Where do I start. As a former college athlete @ University of Louisville, I have seen top notch trainers and been through the programs. Even compared to a D1 type workout regimen, I can honestly say that Chris's program has better gains. I love plyometrics and the tools and techniques and various exercises he implements is huge!
If your looking for the typical flat bench, curls, and squats type of workout I'd recommend just buying some used equipment and run through the motions.
But if you're seriously looking for achieving goals and not getting burned out in the process, Chris is the guy for you.

I love working out with Chris! He is very encouraging and non-intimidating. I started working out to get in shape for the military and after just two months I have lost several inches and I feel more energetic. Chris keeps the workouts interesting by switching up the routines and adding in new exercises. He tailors the programs to my needs and problem areas. I wish I had started working out sooner because the boost in confidence is worth as much as the health benefits. I highly recommend Chris as a trainer for anyone, beginner or advanced. I started working out with Chris last September, with just 3 months to lose some weight and tone up to look great in my wedding dress. By the time the big day rolled around, I was looking, and more importantly, feeling beautiful and confident. In fact, when I first picked my dress up, before starting my workouts, I could not zip the dress all the way up, and after 3 months it had to be taken in several sizes!
Well, now itβs a month after my wedding, and Iβm still working out with Chris! I canβt imagine stopping now, after all the progress Iβve made. My body feels stronger and more efficient than it ever has before, and I love fitting into my high school jeans again! I've been working with Chris for 6 months now, and this endeavor was the highlight of 2014 for me! What a transformation! 6 inches off my waist, 3 inches off my thighs - phenomenal results in a moderate amount of time. He's tough, but very supportive. Extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness training - diet, hydration, particular injuries, etc. I'm "hooked" now, Chris is fantastic. Chris is awesome!! I didn't know what a real workout was until I met Chris. He is extremely knowledgable and knows how to get results. I feel like I've found my own personal "Biggest Loser" trainer, except he's better!! Also, it may seem intimidating to go to an ex-marine, elite trainer, but Chris is very personable and will make you feel at ease - that is, while he works your butt off! I lost 6 inches off my waist in just my first month training with him! I was so impressed with Chris, I got my mom to to join me after my first month and Chris trains us together now. My sister got a program from Chris and now my brother has started training with him too! Chris has my whole family hooked! Seriously, there's no need to look any further, Chris is the real deal, and you won't be disappointed.

Chris Tedesco is one of the very best trainers in the Louisville area. I have trained with others here in Louisville and in other cities that i have lived in and Chris is by far the best trainer i have had the pleasure and pain( a good one) of working with. He can assess a person's needs and goals and help you attain them. He is NOT easy and he will push your limits but he has never taken me beyond them. With his years of experience and his personal enthusiasm he makes the workout go by quite fast and he changes things up alot which i think is very important in physical training. If your really serious about exercise and about improving your health, you can't go wrong by training under Chris. I highly recommend him to anyone who wishes to get in better health and in better physical condition.

I met Chris almost two years ago after I had managed, quite drastically, to lose 150 pounds on my own. Sounds great, right? Not so much. I was left with a body that had cannibalized my muscles in order to survive. I was exhausted physically and mentally and so very confused. I had lost the weight and was supposed to be happy, but I was anything but happy. I was sick of being sick and weak and I knew I had to find the truth about how to obtain and maintain a healthy, fit body. Working with Chris has not only transformed my physical body, but my mental clarity and my entire life. The workouts have certainly been key in developing my now strong physic, but also the knowledge that I have gained with respect to nutrition and fitness is priceless. One of the best things about Chris is that I never once felt judged or 'less than' which is something that kept me out of gyms practically my entire life. At 52 years young, I have discovered my inner athlete (she does box jumps...with a weighted vest?!) Who knew!! Hands down one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.

I have been working with Chris for a little more than a month. I began researching personal trainers after a disappointing doctors appointment. I'd not prioritized my health and well being for many years and this doctor visit told me I'd run out of time. I have to go back in three months and probably be put on more medication. Thank goodness I found Chris. Based on past exercise and diet experience, I had a goal in mind for the next three months. To my amazement, I am 2/3 of the way to that goal in 1 month! I could not do this on my own. Chris gets results, he motivates, coaches and educates. My results so far have shown me what I expected to find - he knows his stuff. I think I will be able to go to my next doctor's appointment with confidence that the lab results will have improved.

Chris is the best. I started working with him about a year ago. I was injured in a motorcycle accident. I wanted to be able to not call myself crippled anymore. Chris has worked with my injuries to strengthen me. I can now climb stairs normally. He is very educated on the human anatomy. He knows how far he can push me without hurting me. I have just finished my third month of training with Chris and am extremely happy with my results. As of now i have lost over 70 lbs of pure fat from my body! in addition to that, ive lost 14 inches from around my waist, over 5 inches from my thighs, and over 4 inches from my arms! Chris is always very supportive and obviously knows what hes doing. i would recommend him to anyone looking to lose weight or get in shape. I have tried almost every diet/weight loss program there is and nothing has worked until i started seeing Chris as a trainer. His methods, and the science behind them have gotten me to where i am today and i look forward to continuing my weight loss journey.

In the past three months I have lost 40 pounds. I have noticed the major increase in my overall athleticism but I have noticed a difference on how I feel on a day to day basis. He teaches you the proper things to eat and the proper way to workout. He knows so much not only about diet and training but he has also helped me recover from my shoulder injury with rehab. He customizes your workouts to be exactly what you need whether it is weight loss or to improve in a sport. If you're looking for a change in the way you look and feel Chris is the guy to do it.
