Holly H. Is a great instructor! She ensures that we are practicing safe techniques and pushing ourselves without hurting ourselves. Bridget is also a great instructor she is very encouraging.
Stephanie (the short, blonde) has so much energy class is always a joy with her. Mary is a gem! She offers great alternatives when covering for others. I miss Sara (the short, red head yoga instructor) she is welcoming (I'm not great at yoga). Lauren (with the purple & green or blue, under her hair) is great too she gave me some tips for bm mobility! I participate regularly in zumba, STT, defend & now more in the other cardio class & youga. My son loves kids club! He comes in the summer & when school is closed. Without it I wouldn't be able to attend. I've been coming since the summer, he loves to swim! I am incredibly happy about my results. I can touch my toes & run up the road without being winded!

Mason is the program! He's inclusive, engaging and kind. Always ready to jump in & help out wherever needed. I wouldn't volunteer coach for anyone else. My son is thriving, while learning new skills & community. We look forward to continuing to help our son grow in sports with Mason at the Y.

My only problem is the inside pool and swim lessons. Classes always canceled . Paint in the pool and in my kids hair twice. And the teachers 9 times out of ten dont tech the kids anything 650$ and phase 1 and 2 and my kids havnt learned a thing. The kids teaching the lessons are like 12 themselves.
There was 1 guy who actually did a great job but never saw him again. If your just having random kids cycle threw the lessons they shouldn't be over 300$ a phase.

We've done alot of extra classes, my son loved the ninja tumbling classes. But same problem you either get a great teacher or a kid who looking at there phone the whole time.

I believe they are good people in there but I had horrible experience with this lady and yes I have an HR degree bachelors. I did not get her name but I will. I will be talking to your boss. She has been rude to me several times. It’s 11:21 am and it’s is 8/31/25. She wouldn’t provide me with my own information and I believe she is homophobic. I don’t know but I didn’t like it.

There is a lifeguard named Tristan. He looks to be about 15-16 years old. He is a very disrespectful young man. I was simply enjoying my experience at the pool and he came over to me and asked why my wife was “so fat”. I found this to be very disrespectful. I have been married to my wife Linda for 12 years. She has an eating disorder and struggles to stay in shape. She recently went through chemo treatments and lost all her hair. My wife has had many health problems. She is 5’2 385lbs and bald. She is the love of my life and we were both humiliated and horrified by the way he treated us. He needs some kind of punishment.

It's wonderful. The outdoor pool is very nice, like the club our family belonged to when I was growing up, only affordable. I'm going to join some classes this year...I'm looking at water exercise class, gentle yoga, and matt Pilates. I'm almost sixty and this year I noticed my strength diminishing. Staff doesn't hold everyone accountable to following rules. Kids not of the age of 15 workout in the weight room. I've personally had to save and help a handful over the years.

The sauna is dangerous and has had a broken/faulty board for months. Staff is aware and hasn't taken any corrective measures. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Staff was very rude when I asked to cancel and would not provide any help. Insisted she was too busy and that my 7 year old daughter could figure it out. Completely unprofessional.

A male personal trainer never washes his hands, seen numerous times exiting a bathroom stall and walking straight out. disgusting.

They don't police the open gyms. Profanity, shirts off often at times, and people walk right in without scanning.

Is seeing about a membership and they age discriminate. It's considerably cheaper if you're an adult 18 to 39 then if you're an adult 40 to 64. When I asked about this I was very rudely told I don't make the prices they come from corporate.

Unwelcoming experience at YMCA RC Durr. Staff were aggressive and condescending when enforcing rules, making us feel like we were a bother. Management didn't help, showing clear bias and unprofessionalism. To top it off, the staff member in the lobby was standoffish and unfriendly as we were leaving. I understand that rules are in place for a reason, but they can be enforced in a way that's respectful and welcoming. Corporate's apology and offer to make things right were a step in the right direction, but more work is needed."

R.C Durr YMCA is alway clean and the staff working there are always greeting us with a smile. They are very friendly. I love utilizing the workout area. They have all the equipment I need to get in a good workout. Everyone who uses that room is respectful. My son loves practicing his basketball skills during open gym time.

Do not join!!!! Terrible customer service. They will do anything to get fraudulent charges taken out of the account. Had a whole family membership for the summer and downgraded to a single membership at the end summer because I knew I wouldn't be using the membership much once the outdoor pool was closed. They then proceeded to charge me for 2 accounts for 2 months and refused to refund for their error. Somehow an employee not submitting paperwork correctly is my fault and it's okay to charge someone almost $200 a month for a facility that had both pools shut down almost the entire month. I assumed it would be an easy fix when I explained that I was being double charged. This is not a community focused establishment like I was led to believe. Very very sad. Outdoor pool was nice enough but not worth it. On top of the management being deceptive and rude, the lifeguards and staff are often extremely rude to families and I have seen them target and harass Muslim families and people with disabilities.

I joined the RC Durr with my family in the beginning of July (3.5 months ago). My kids go to pre-k and afterschool here and have made some wonderful friends. They love going to the Y. I love going to swim laps, the classes, the sauna, and the fitness center. All the people who work here are very nice! I highly recommend joining the YMCA!

I'm so happy I found a place that keeps their pool open EVERY DAY until Labor Day. They all shut down during the hottest time of the year! You can buy a membership or pay each visit, which varies on age. Adults is $15. It is a bit small but does have a slide, lap pool, and concessions. Also, very clean and guards are very nice.

Came here to swim today because my apartment pool was down for maintenance when I 1st walked in I sad I won’t a day pass to swim out side the lady said are you from around here I sad yes I just moved here to this area she literally gave me a FREE DAY PASS WHEN OTHER PLACES IN TOWN MAKE YOU GET A MEMBERSHIP PASS that is really expensive this place is like here you go here is a FREE DAY PASS TO SWIM

Also the water slide is actually pretty fun here there was not a ton of people at the pool to day mostly because it started out today cool but it hit 81 degrees at 4pm so I’m like I’m going to hit the pool and sit in the SUN to soak up the vitamin D

The lifeguards are RUDE. The old chubby one with short hair kicked my disabled son out of the pool and Y for splashing. It's 90 degrees my air went out in SUV and was forced to sit out in my car until we gathered things to leave. Then as we were about to my daughter threw a ball across pool to brother a different one and it accidentally went too far bounced up and hit someone. The old one called director lied saying we cussed her out and my daughter hit other people in the pool. She had just been in a few minutes. The young chubby lifeguard Kalie was screaming in my face for us trying to check and see if the other child was ok. Kalie is RUDE and should not treat paying members this way. Needs to be fired immediately

I was visiting from out of state and I came using a ride share. When checked up for a ride to go back, there was nothing available. I spoke to Sara at YMCA at the time 7:30pm. She was extremely helpful, she took it upon herself to help me find a local cab. The first one said no, so she reached out to another can service in the area to make sure I had a ride back to the hotel.
She made reservations for me at 8:45pm on her own because I was going to be in the swimming pool at the time (she acknowledged it before I could say anything). Please know I was not expecting her to make those reservations for me but she did it for me.

I canceled my membership bc I moved to far. I did it 5 business days before. The lady said she would hold my paperwork and have the business manager call me. She said she would try to get it taken care of. Well no one called and I was just charged my membership. Honestly it really is on me for not canceling within the 10 days required. However I felt like she lied to me and said she would do something but turned around and did the opposite. Or the business manager just didn't feel like handling it. I just feel like someone should have reached out to me like they promised, instead of having the surprise charge.
